Yes, shout out to Sherlyn, she's doing a fantastic job and a very homebody. The 2 previous storms enhanced the southwest monsoon, brought heavy rains and gusty winds. Negros islands were affected areas so as here in Luzon. Glad it was all over now and the sun made an appearance. After the storm, everyone back to their daily routine/work. White curtains looking good nd black faucet contrasted well with the light color background. Thanks as always, guys nd Happy Sunday to all. God bless.
Yah sherilyn is very hands on from start with the house building and now house interior decoration ❤❤❤❤even if she suffers miscarriage but still move on continue with their dream house , happy to both of you someday you can have so many kids running in your beautiful house...😮😢❤
Can't wait to see your house fully furnished! I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a blast! With your combined efforts and ideas nothing will go wrong. Good luck! 😉
BOLO MACHETE is the must-have tool when living in the Bario ~ versatile and dependable! Thor and Jake are great adorable dogs and they're great "security guards" for the property. Thanks for the update, Finn and Sherilyn!
That feeling in the grip of your hand when you hit with the bolo/ machete the spot where you want it is like the "sweet spot" in tennis. Caveat: be careful with that bolo hitting your leg or somebody near you when you swing it. Also, blisters may develop when working too much with the bolo. It's a totally different life. Enjoy.
Awesome! Sending love to both Fin and Sherlyn you guys are just so inspiring and are doing good jobs hands-on building your dream beautiful house with a big backyard, I love Thor and Jake they are very obedient dogs. You have very inspiring related content, living in a province with a simple lifestyle yet healthy surroundings full of nature. I am your secret follower I have watched your video since the start and you inspired me hoping to do the same things when I get home to my beloved country the Philippines. Watching from Jeddah KSA.❤❤❤
Thank you for the video. We have not experienced yet that kind of weather in the country where I live in. We have snow though - winter time. Finn and Sherlyn are doing a great job in completing their very beautiful house. Congratulations.
Thor is such a character 😅 I saw from your previous videos how brown and dry the land around you from the heat, but now with lots of rain the world is so green! What a big difference.
Happy to know you have floor tiles made in the Philippines! I like your Curtains/remote! I missed Brian and Michelle God Bless them, and hope they come back for family member close by. Trees around your property will protect your house, but not too close protect falling trees! Typhoons are just part of life in the Philippines! Keep safe and God Bless!
You're very well equipped Finn! Good boots and clothing to get busy! "Farmer Finn" 😃 Im not making fun of you sir by any means. Quite the contrary! You're getting into it and that is great to see! ❤💪
I'm from Bicol Region having typhoon is normal thing every year you may adopt also. But, even there's a typhoon we don't panic instead we prepare. Because it takes 3-4hrs you experience the wonder of nature. After the typhoon it's a harvest time also so much vegetables like Papa, coconut, jack fruit and Even tilapia's is free scattered around your place. That's the Pro's and Cons of typhoon. 🙂
Hi That's high wind and rain. Finn I have make sure my wife doesn't see your electric curtain she want one and I told her manually only. But yours is impressive.
Trees close to the house should be short. That's something a lot of people here learn fast. Because yes, during typhoons, they're a hazard. I forgot, do your glass windows have storm shutters?
I hope in the future the Phil. Electric wires for lights in the ground, like here in Iceland, even strong tyhpoon can't destroy it! Because here, never have black out, if only something they going to fixed, just few hours then Electricity back so fast. The street lights, no wires like spider Web, everything on the ground. So if have bad weather, still have lights.
I would love to know how much the house cost you to build. I recently bought a property in Barangay Casile, Daiun, and I plan to build a 3 bedroom 3 bath contrate house. A rough estimation would greatly help a ton. Thanks!
Just a suggestion finn if the sun is so hot better fold the curtain as my experience here in spain i have all my curtain ruined by the rays of sun that repflect on the glass and if you have another thick curtain is much better just to put it alone
Hope everyone's safe. At least you kinda wanna gage on how your house runoffs on drainage issue. Test of time to prove to yourself that u have built a fortress of a shelter for you & Sherlyn & Thor & the cute twins😅 in the future.
According to World Risk Report.... The Philippines is a country prone to frequent natural calamities. In 2022, the country topped the World Risk Report with a 46.82 world risk index. On average, 20 storms and typhoons enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility each year, with about 8 or 9 of them crossing the Philippines. Moreover, according to PHIVOLCS, earthquakes are a common occurrence, with an average of 100-150 earthquakes hitting the country every year. The country is also home to 24 active volcanoes, with Mayon, Taal, and Pinatubo being some of the most notorious. 100 to 150 earthquakes. These figures are not mere statistics; they are a reality that millions of Filipinos live with every day.
Hey! I haven’t watched u for a long time came back to see what’s up. I hope u tripled the protection on your home considering how strong the weathers and storms get in the Philippines
😮 that's crazy having them teach survival techniques in Bangkok then have you drink contaminated bamboo water. Must have been 5 awful weeks recuperating. 😮
@@FinnSnowVlogs that's awesome, I have watched the build and paid good attention to the solar power system you installed. I'm very big on solar power and renewable energy, ... very good investment 👍😊
i couldn’t help think, does your huge glass windows have storm shutters? or do you have at least a storm shutter built for your windows to put on for when a typhoon is imminent? your location is at the top for a good view, but it is also exposed to strong winds (and debris) if there is a typhoon. it’s good you have a renewable source of energy and to be able to produce your own purified water. at least 2 weeks worth of water is needed in an emergency. that also goes for none perishable food of at least 2 weeks worth and last but not least, a 1st aid kit. with your self producing purified water and renewable energy, you are way beyond the curve of being prepared…
Rains and winds tore through Sipalay City as well. Storm surge created some havoc on the public beach, lost a few coconut trees. I live about 200yards away from the beach. Neighbors and I had to cut down a few talisay trees threatening power lines. I also lost a big branch of my large mango tree. Clean up and carry on! Peace ✌️
Not related to this video, but I was wondering, when you purchased your solar system, what capacity factor did you base your system on, I'm sure you know what I mean, we've been watching your channel for years now :). If you were on grid maybe 12kw but solar we need 48kw capacity ;) also missed your supplier can they supply Davao?

I love it Finn you are a true pinoy now ! You already have a bolo belt !!! May itak kana finn. Nice love it
Hello Finnlyn! Take care guys and God bless.
Please never get red of those bamboo trees Finn and Sherlyn because it helps prevent landslides
You should install a pool leaf net cover in your pool so you don't need to clean the water everytime it rains

Hndi ako nagsswa manud sa mga vlogs nyo mag aswa. Lagi ako nka abng, lagging nag aabng Kong may apload kau. I'm watching here in Dubai sharjah
Black is good for the faucet. It complements the frames of the shower glass, the windows, and the showerheads. White would have looked weird.
Hi That's high wind and rain.
Finn I have make sure my wife doesn't see your electric curtain she want one and I told her manually only. But yours is impressive.
Am from the USA same here in lipa city winds out of control
The house is looking fantastic 👌
You can save those bamboo tree for your climbing vegetables as they are flexible.
Trees close to the house should be short. That's something a lot of people here learn fast. Because yes, during typhoons, they're a hazard. I forgot, do your glass windows have storm shutters?
It's perfect environment for the pets.
The mighty dog - Thor. He's a clever dog no wonder you and Sherlyn adored him.
Nice curtains, also white & translucent :)
Proud Cagay-anon Sherilyn❤❤❤Hope she becomes a bride soon❤❤❤

Will somebody hold the ladder please, I'm worried.
What’s the brand of your grass cutter? Is it really good?
I am pleased your house had no problems from the typhoon
Here in Luzon I experienced 30 days of continuous rain heavy alternating with light showers but continuous raining nonetheless
30 days wow

How much is the training for the dogs?
Thor is a smart dog 👏
Wow 💨💨🌧️
I like ur dog.❤
Not just the Philippines, even in Europe
Be careful snakes could live in the bamboo trees 🌳
How well did your solar power system preform during the 4 days of continuous rain and was any damage sustained from the wind?
Very good when clouds were not so dense and it was bright. Only had one day very dark clouds and slow so we turned off pumps/aircons to fill batteries
