I’m op42 and used this with 6 docks for incursions (dropped interceptor strike team), with Pon on the baby jelly… absolutely epic. Highlight was destroying a 420m enti-D. Love this set up
I Don't have Tal... But used the original bold defense today for incursions. The biggest one I took out was an 80m+ Northcutt. It was a very close thing.
I'm a lvl 40 and the Base Defense did well for me to where the Whales got me a few times, and backed off after they saw the chunks of thier ships missing. I will consider incorporating the Pron and Tal recommendations to my Saved crews. But I noticed alot of these Whales that hit Rev had alot of thier shield missing. There were results so I will try for SCIENCE.

what about for us that only have 5 ship slots and not as many as you have in your video...we need 4 for defense and one to go out and rage? Should we just set up the first four slots to match your vid and use the 5th slot for our attacking ship?
I used Bold and wrecked a few higher levels. They figured it out, and just stopped attacking me though. I started using a Burning Jelly to score more points.

4:54 if TAL ever is able to get maxed - you could make every attack on your base only lasts 4 rounds ( Combat would end Round 5 - without ANY shot fired )
Not accurate. It removes hull from the current hull, not the starting hull. So even I'd tou had 10% removed each turn, it would take 11 rounds essentially. 100-10% is 90, 90-10% is 81. 81-10% is 72....
@@chrisjones4571 when you have a maxed Tal and you pair it with Pike + Moreau (Time code 4:54 ) you get -22% Hull every round Round 1 = 78% / R2 = 56% / R3 = 34% / R4= 12% / R5 = 0%
Got two questions to the crews - wouldn't TOS Uhura be a more useful Captain instead of TOS Kirk, since the ship doesn't deal much damage anyways? And why does Kras need Synergy? Is it for officiers others then Rom?
Looks like I must have missed something in a Flash Pass, I have 30/34 for Tal. Also is there an FtP path for Harrison? I can't see him in anything in the Recruit section. I also don't have TOS Spock or TOS Kirk but working on TOS Kirk through T Patterns, he's the officer I don't have with the least amount left to get, 23 to go.

Why 5 BS over expolers or interceptors?? I'm assuming there's a reason but surely you're gonna attaked by different ships so the triangle will be different for each attacker
@@Trasp31 no, you were not. He mentioned it, that it works with lesser docks. I did the third version and swapped the cardassian crew for whatever I needed (mostly Amalgam-Crew). Also it hits harder with hullbreach and the cardassian ST Crew, it all worked just fine as supposed to.

At this point during incursions if they repair a ship, move on, not even worth the trouble and whoever sits there dying over and over is just an idiot lol
I need schooling: Great video, but how would this actually apply and benefit you? All your ships are locked up, and you are unshielded. What application is this for? Just to "play dead" and frustrate higher level players?
I really hate their new fEaTuRe that shield is automatically disabled above level 20+ system while incursion is happening. This game is really gonna be a greedy joke. Pass days I played less, bc yeah I have a hobby too. (3D printing). And logged in and didn't know why my shield was gone and couldn't equip a base shield. Thought it was a bug. No, it was incursions. My base was being raided for over a hour... Scoply... 😡😡. No hate too you Rev! You are awesome! 🤟
If you have spent what like 150 usd to get the 7 docks that is.. cant see us with the 5 docks take that down.. and also 2 short of Tal because of the heroic syndicate xp slb screw up.. getting really tired of this game tbh.
So what's the point of upgrading if the power of a ship is mitigated and the crew lay out is so overpowering...at what point will a player realize the uselessness of upgrading ships..and leave since only thing that is needed is a certain crew on a certain ship for pvp..all I hear is frustration for players that took time and money to upgrade to get a ship with power and only find out it was all wasted because of a crew layout..
@The Angry Ryno don't you think fewer people will play when they realize that if you have the 9 prime offices (strike team on their designated ships, (strike team on a battleship) no matter how much time a player researched, the ships capabilities, or maxed out their research to their level , that a player can not come close to winning against a player that has the prime crew on their designated ship..think the frustration level will irritate most player when a level 34 destroys their lv 49 ship., that the ship with the prime officers leaves victorious with out as mush as a scratch reguard less of the power difference or level difference between the 2 ships ...I'm guessing player have a since of fair play and will get fed up with the out of balance the prime crew introduces to the game...I know our alliance has lost a bunch of players after the last incursion...and pvp are almost non exiting these days...other than mining ships
This is all utterly useless now 😅 We need an updated defence guide, especially with the advent if Isolytics, PIC Worf/Riker, new Primes, etc In the current game, Ocean and Bold simply dont work anymore.

I used this video today and I’m top 2 now on invader dmg. Bought the extra drydock and just baited everyone. Killed so many g5 ships. Delicious

StrikeTeam Una and Ortegas only work on battleships, and you want a few smaller ones in front of them to take shots.

There used to be a free dock at OPs 35.. then they added a pay feature and it went away. I am not spending $100 on a dock that used to be free.

That's been a standard point of incursions from the start and that's why it's gd to sit in the lower systems by default.

If money was the only way to win pvp, fewer people would play this game.
