rad review dude! I had a few questions - do you see it working well for productivity? I'm a designer by profession, and I'm curious how it would work with a high graphics card / higher refresh rate. Also, does it have vesa mounting capabilities? I'm planning on using a desk mount for it!
Yeah it works with vesa mounting and the color accuracy may need some tweaks but overall an amazing monitor there are some videos that can till you some more calibration settings definitely worth it for sure. High refresh and work well with a high graphics card
you will mostly only notice the "smearing" effect on greens, blacks and blues. its really noticable on trees and foliage which in some games can make it borderline unplayable. just get an IPS you wont regret it.

@@thecodblackopskid damn man your lucky i got mine and there’s a lot of ghosting but even besides that in games anything that moves (including everything if your turning/looking around) has this very noticeable red blur ghosting on it and becomes much darker :/
@@rebelprime I can't turn on the monitor, talked to support and they sent me a adapter to fix it but it didn't work at all. Also no repair either, there's also some videos in the amazon reviews showing the problem that I had as well.
Most companies don't really send you a whole lot of stuff so when they send you even a screwdriver sticker or even display cable incertain inches it's always a plus

Mine isn’t working, how do you change HDMIs or whatever, mine just acts like nothing is connected and it won’t let me select one, I tried using the display port with a display port cable and I tried hdmi but Everytime I go back to the menu, they are all gray and it acts like nothing is connected
Ok it turns out my hdmi was plugged into the wrong port on my computer, it took like a few hours for me to figure it out because it started working when I plugged it into my laptop, this monitor is actually really cool, ultrawide is great for games but I wish it could tilt up more or the stand was taller because when it’s on my desk, o have to look down at it and it’s still to much down, I want to mount it to the wall but my room is in the basement of my house so the walls are concrete with tapestry’s put up to make it look better and my desk is also to small so it’s to close to me so I’m goin go get a new desk
So its a weird way to mount it. There's a mount included but it won't fit just a regular vesa mount you'll have to buy 4 screws and 4 nuts if you want to vesa mount it

It would mainly depend on budget. I wouldn't build anything right now till you can get yourself Nvidia or amd gpu but if you can't wait i say cpu ryzen 5 3600 gpu 1660super by Nvidia what would be when Nvidias new card come back into stock I would say a rtx 3080 or 3070

I went from 1ms to 5ms ots almost unnoticeable. Its also 200hz so things will look alot smoother. Its my most recommended. If you want a normal monitor I would get the msi optic mag241c its a 24" monitor 1ms and 144hz and its like 170

To reset it hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds and then unplug it from the pc and the monitor and just reset it basically thats what worked for me
Can you get 16:9 aspect ratio? Because i just got and for my pc games the ultrawide looks 0erfect. But when i want to play ps4, in ultrawide looks weird and With 4:3 the image looks skinny.
Would depend on the game and what settings. I play modern warfare at 1080 max settings with a ryzen 5 2600x and a rog strix 2070super and get about 170fps. So depending on the games yeah it should be amazing with this monitor and handle 130 to 160fps
Do you know if you can mount these to a desk mount ? I see the back of the monitor doesn’t look like it has a normal mount like other monitors is it mountable ?

When you stream depending on the program will have black bars but playing no you will not. Also I7 could be a million different graphic card combinations that would determine fps so if you know which graphics card and cpu then I could tell you
You could easily do high refresh 1080 like 144hz there very good and good for the budget however there are lots of good 1440p 144hz monitors right now for not too expensive price there's a 27" asus for like 300 regularly and its great ill have to review it soon :)
My main problem with this monitor is that I have an RTX 3070 and I think I should probably buy a more expensive monitor, I plan on buying something from the same brand. I've been looking at their 4k 144hz monitor and it looks very good my only problem with that is it isn't HDR so I feel like I am stuck in a rock and a hard place, I cannot afford to go with anything more expensive but I also want something that would give me that premium stuff. But I mean it's 310 and has 4k and 144hz lol, I know it'd be a hard task for my poor 3070 and Ryzen 7 2700x but I mean 4k is 4k lol. Yes, it would be even wider than Super Ultrawide. Standard is 16:9, Ultrawide is 21:9, Super Ultrawide is 35:9, and 2 Ultrawides would be 42:9. But then again 3 regular monitors next to each other would be 48:9 which is very wide
I had a ASUS high refresh rate ultra wide and I noticed in dark areas of games or just in general if i moved quick or shake side to side id see green or red im not sure if im explaining this right but its weird
This does that to with red, I have this one and when something white or any color disappears and changes to black, it leaves a red ghosting effect for a moment and you can notice it in games but it’s not that bad or anything
@@necrobestial what gpu do you have if you want the best visuals and aren't really playing competitive fps games. I would say go for the 4k but of your playing competitive games like csgo overwatch or Cod I would say this one. Its a ultrawide and its 200hz which mean less response time and smoother picture.
@@necrobestial the rx580 might be struggling in games in 4k tho is my thing I would go for maybe the optix mag241c its a 144hz 1080p and its pretty reasonable on the wallet but 4k monitor seems intriguing. I just worry the rx580 might be a little sluggish with 4k.
I could not overclock it at all 204hz seems to be the limit. I could not overclock this thing at all but given I was using a 2070super you probably won't be hitting this fps

HOWEVER Please for the love of god when your playing csgo dont have youe crosshair aiming at the ground when running. Im sorry im a pretty hardcore csgo player and it triggered me to another dimension when you had your crosshair aiming at the ground 😂. Sorry about the rant. Good review though
No you don't have to you only get 60 with a console the only way your getting above 60 is on console and when the xbox come out and its only 120 fps max
no monitor on the market rn is up to date with the all new 2.1 HDMI cable that comes with the ps5. PS5 is best paired with a $1,500 - $2,000 OLED TV that has 120hz built in. Maybe in the future monitors will support 2.1 HDMI.
Depends on the games and graphics card you have more competive games i would higher refresh rate so the 200hz. But if you want better display and better graphics 1440p 144hz they are pretty expensive but the price is kinda worth it

Yeah the ghosting is noticeable on like window texts but in video games and movies its buttery smooth

Go to the settings on your PS4 and see if you can change the resolution to 2560x1080. Also for some reason it stretches everything out on my PS3
You want to adjust aspect ratio in the quick start settings. Your PC will still be ultra wide but anything else will be 16:9

Yes, it comes with the Vesa adapter thing or something, mine came with a bag with mounting peices but I think you need to buy a mount or something

Not really I seen a difference from 144 to 200 but going from 200 to 240 is pretty small might be noticeable but not severe.
My brother thinks anything over 30FPS is good 😕 no one who experienced 200 or more would say that

@@necrobestial the rx580 might be struggling in games in 4k tho is my thing I would go for maybe the optix mag241c its a 144hz 1080p and its pretty reasonable on the wallet but 4k monitor seems intriguing. I just worry the rx580 might be a little sluggish with 4k.
I’m also worried about it breaking and not being able to get it fixed cause it’s off amazon

I could not overclock it at all 204hz seems to be the limit. I could not overclock this thing at all but given I was using a 2070super you probably won't be hitting this fps

HOWEVER Please for the love of god when your playing csgo dont have youe crosshair aiming at the ground when running. Im sorry im a pretty hardcore csgo player and it triggered me to another dimension when you had your crosshair aiming at the ground 😂. Sorry about the rant. Good review though

no monitor on the market rn is up to date with the all new 2.1 HDMI cable that comes with the ps5. PS5 is best paired with a $1,500 - $2,000 OLED TV that has 120hz built in. Maybe in the future monitors will support 2.1 HDMI.

Depends on the games and graphics card you have more competive games i would higher refresh rate so the 200hz. But if you want better display and better graphics 1440p 144hz they are pretty expensive but the price is kinda worth it
