i think enhypen is the most impressive boy group ever, like I'm not even staning them yet but all of enhypen members background families, and careers even before becoming an idol are all insane, 5 out 7 were all athletes and they're pro athletes, smart, and well-mannered kids, some of them are born from a rich family but still, none of them flex on it, old money ig, it's crazy how one group have different charm, personalities, and talented members.
Ni-Ki was not a backup dancer of SHINee on that stage. He is one of the SHINee kids in which he was the mini/little Key and they danced with them. 😊 He's dance teachers were Rikimaru which is known to choreographed for other kpop artists (i think, SM artist mostly). Another teacher of his was Kento Mori, a dancer/choreographer of Madonna, Michael Jackson, Ne-yo, Usher, etc.

Jungwon is the hidden ace with his incredible unique voice! It would be cool to see your reaction to the I-land performances. Jungwons voice really stand out.
Heeseung (희승) (2001)
Birth Name: Lee Hee Seung (이희승)
Possible Position: Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Center, Sub Rapper
Heeseung, Jay, Sunghoon, Jungwon were in the same Company also went to a BTS concert together so they do know each other for a long time.
Jay and Heeseung are already being friends for 5 years already.

Korean Name: Park Jong Seong (박종성)
Possible Position: Lead Dancer, Main Rapper, Sub/Lead Vocalist
Jay's dad is a CEO also owns a travel agency, once he and Heeseung went to holidays in a 7 stars hotel, also the costs was around 6 Millionen won? (So Jay is pretty rich)
Also Jay's is learning a lot of other languages like french and Italian.

Korean Name: Sim Jae Yun (심재윤)
Possible Position: Lead Rapper, Sub/Lead Vocalist
Jakes dad is also a CEO.

Niki is really one of the best dancers also during I-land everyone acknowledge him for his dancing skills. Also Jhope from BTS said he's one of the best dancers also Yeonjun from TXT.
Niki doesn't go to school anymore or probably have online classes.
I would recommend watching their show ‘Enhypen&Hi’ there are a total of two seasons so far! It would definitely let you know them even better!

You asked how many people they beat out on I-land to become members. I-land had 23 contestants in part 1, which was cut down to 12 in part 2.
plus the audition before that (Jake beat 500 other boys in Australia)

I love your Enhypen reactions ! I agree that Let Me In can be a little confusing at first, but all of the four music videos so far are connected and they carry a story line. So to understand more I suggest watching theory videos about each mv so you can understand the meaning of each, since there is a lot you can miss at first. The story line also has a lot to do with different realities and dimensions which is why they differ so much from each other, essentially they are always looking at each other from a different dimension/reality. Anyways thank you for your reactions ! 🤗

20 cube means a fish tank/aquarium! That's why in the mv, there are alot of hints about being enclosed in a glass cube. The lyrics of Let Me In is also connected to a vampire movie that is also entitled Let Me In.

Actually, Ni-ki wasn't a back up dancer that time. He was one of the "mini SHINee" and performed as mini key as far as I know.
They have also done covers of BTS ( Boy with love ,I like it ) .EXO ( Love me right) and Block B (Very Good) you should check those out as well I like the dance practices of them with Very good being my fav
If you haven't yet, watch all of the dance practices on TH-cam for Enhypen. They are all amazing. Make sure to watch the dance practices for all the covers too...Very Good, Boy in Luv, and Love me Right, etc.

There were 23 trainees in I-LAND, so they beat out 16 other boys, a couple are debuting in other groups this year under other companies

yup the guide should have specified it was korean age.
on the video he in the clip he was talking about his age (23:26) he was turning 15 really soon (2020)
he is now 15 & turning 16 this year in december(17 korean age).
-if you or those coming across are curious in some background regarding korean age can read on _here is a some info; hopefully it is a bit helpful & sometime to keep in mind when the talk about age in the future.

You are considered 1 the day you are born there & everyone adds a year once it hits new years ~this way everyone born in the same year is considered the same age/liner & become adults at the same time (age 20 korean age)
So when comparing the international age to it one could see a difference between 1-2 years gap depending if your birthday passed already or not (a way to calculate is what age would you be turning that year and just add 1 to it.)
Since niki is born really late in the year (dec) ~for most of the year his korean age (17) would be 2 more than his international age (15) but once his birthday comes it would just a gap of 1.
He actually came to korea from japan the previous year before iland ~so it was when he was 13 (intl) & then appeared on iland as a 14 year old last june (he is born dec 2005).
by the way on iland he was so small both in height and stature & had such a baby face; he grew so much in a short time and is taller than most of the members now & became broader over time as well ~it is so shocking, i never seen such a change in a short time & there have been many cases but this the most striking example though
~ever new intro/project since iland & new releases & reveals he just keeps changes.
@@nu.o7369 Thank you for the explanation. I have been trying to figure out why people say “1-2” years different from international age, but when I look it up it mostly talks about just that you are 1 when you are born. So i was really confused where the 2 came in. Now I know 🙂.
@@melissaotto7873 yup plus it kinda of sucks for those born late in the year because it just ages you up and in particular it makes for men in the entertainment industry harder because it makes the military service deadline even shorter as well. For some one who is 28 for example but their birthday is really late or even close to the end of the year (be 29 then)~they are already 30 in korean age and deadline is coming to a close this year.
@@nu.o7369 I actually have the same birthday as Sunghoon and, therefore the day before NiKi (but I’m much older than both 😂). That was an eye brow raiser when I saw their birthdays though. Hmm. It’s all very interesting.
Yes Jake did the intro and the outdo. I guess Heeseung did too and he copied Jake’s accent. You should watch the survival show I-Land where they were chosen. Out of 23 trainees 7 were chosen. Love these boys 🥰. Watch Enhypen and HI to get to know the boys.
Please please please watch I-Land. Episode 1 was just intense already.

Just a correction, RM and Soobin aren't the oldest in their groups but they're the leaders. Idk about any other group though lol

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. That was fun. I like watching intro guides. It helps me learn and remember info. Enhypen are army so i adore them for their talent and their love of BTS. they covered a few BTS songs during I-Island I watched a few episodes during airing when BTS were guests. The little i saw made me like the boys. I think it was 23 contestants. Only 7 debuted but a few others just debuted in a Japanese group. And others also debuted in other groups or are doing solo work. There is an info guide on that. I still need to watch the full show. But they are great. Love all their songs. They remind me a lot of BTS. =0p Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟

You should be able to react to all their dance practices without roblems and all their relay dances. Maybe check out their debut trailers 1 & 2 to get their vampire aesthetics.
They’ve done Weekly Idol two times now, and been on After School Club two times too. They also had their ENHYPEN Mini Olympics. They’ve also done a show with Tomorrow X Together called Playground. They have two seasons of ENHYPEN&HI which has 4 episodes each season. They also just started their own little variety show called EN-O’Clock but with one episode so far.
I definitely plan to check out the dance practices very soon for sure. I appreciate you letting me know about this extra content as well :))
