Alot of people seem to be worried about doing this kid of job, realistically, the main part about this job that is specific and requires real knowledge is setting preload and backlash. Any regular person can remove the d.s. and pull the third member. You could save a lot of money by just dropping off the third member to a professional to actually install the locker, and set the back lash and preload. The. Pick it up, take it home and reinstall it.

What year is this Toyota? I have a 2012 Tundra with a 10.5" rear. Apparently only two aftermarket rears are available for my truck: The ARB air locker and the Auburn LSD. I need a selectable locker that I could lock-in off road or on the track, and then operate unlocked as an LSD in everyday driving. If you guys have this locker, please advise. I'm gonna look into it.

the pin wrench that you used for the back lash and bearing preload will any pin wrench work ? or do you have to have the one from ARB?
