I am MS CSE from IIT Kanpur. MS people get better placements than Mtech. MS people can get all the Mtech companies as well as research profiles. Also placements highly depends upon the candidate. MS is in general best program in india. It is one level above Mtech and one level below Phd. Some people call it mini Phd. Because of research component in it. A lot of companies prefer MS over Mtech for research and data scientist jobs.
ms requires less gate score. Were as mtech needs way more than of what Ms or PhD needs . So pls don't even think about like potryaying mtech like that . ( and there's mtech RA for your kind info )

What benefit one will get if one does mtech from top iit instead of a person working in tcs lets say and learning dsa, doing programming, participating in hack athon and then applying to google, microsoft when he knows he has built a strong resume and I think that person has to wait among all the applications from off campus and might get rejected??

First of all, the striking thing that I have noticed about this video is that they are underrated the ms in abroad. They are trying to encourage students to undertake masters in top universities in India so that they could sell their course. This is my personal opinion only.
Really a great opinion to think bout I am not saying that this is completely true but it something to think about

I have a question! Can a BCA graduate do an MS in abroad? If no then, why and is there a way?
See u need minimum 4 years of Education after 12th. This can be done By completing a 2 year degree (preferably MSc as many colleges dont recognize MCA; it is a India specific degree). (A 2 yr masters is recquired by colleges such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, CSU Long Beach, and most of the California colleges, UIUC etc....) In some Colleges they don't recognize double masters (sometimes in Canada) so you might need to do a one year PG Diploma. Sometimes (some cases) colleges even accept 3 year degree from India (MIT, CMU, Stony Brook etc.... But some of these are very competitive including for top candidates so be extrordinary, there are others which are less competitive but few options) Varies from college to college, please check all your target college websites/ pay a good study abroad consultant. Finally in some countries like UK, Australia, etc... They might accept 3 year degree from India. Still sometimes they wont, as their 3 year Honors degree is more intensive and of higher recognition than our 3 year degree.
You can definitely do MS degree in abroad after BCA. Usually many reputed and ivy league colleges prefer that you complete a 4 year undergrad degree and that is compulsory. But, there are tons of other colleges in US, UK and Australia that accept either 3 year or 4 years of undergrad. That depends on what you are mastering in.
