Great video sir. But, GATE difficulty for Mechanical Engineering, either for NITs or IITs or Jobs is NOT moderate. It's VERY HARD. It's not easy to score 70+ in GATE. For jobs, we need more than 85.

my sister got 320 in GRE through self-study and is now going to the University of Pennsylvania
getting into Ivy league colleges (worlds top reputed college) is much easier than getting into IIT's
also, my sister's friend was in VNIT who now is in Caltech (one of the top 5 colleges in the world)

What you didn't mention was how was the whole profile of your sister, like a lot of factors depend right other than that GRE exam, Which other students aren't able to do right? Like your whole scores in college and school, your essays for submission, your whole application and TOEFL/IELTs too, and here in India, a sole exam decides your branch and college, and the too much competitiveness(because of this Indian society) makes it harder.

Hey, MTech is difficult out of these 3 options as around 1.8 lakh candidates sit for exams in main streams and if your rank is under 2000(around 99 percentile) then only u will get a decent college or job in psu. But in MBA if u get 90 percentile u can get a good college. I think u need to scrutinize more.
if you are watching for MBA , lemme tell you there are many colleges which are affordable( with great roi , so research more , this video is 5 years old .

@@-Doraish_224. no , as far as i know your btech becomes irrelevant when it comes to placement in MBA colleges , you need MBA related internships /jobs that would count as relevant experiences

@@-Doraish_224. idk exacty but i did hear that , for placements in mba cllges you need relevant experience, i.e in any of the business fields (finance , marketing etc) so if that is for MBA , then idnt think that btech + MBA tag will give some really static benefit , though it helps in rare cases like if uve done btech in cse and mba and then you are sitting for managerial post in some tech company , then they might consider your tech literacy as an attribute

Hi Aman, Thanks for the detailed video. Appreciate your efforts. One thing I disagree with is the conclusion that if your financial conditions are not good then you should go for M. tech. I think all good colleges IIM/XLRI have tie-ups where banks are willing to give 100% Loan without any collateral. If you get decent placements you can pay that loan off in 5 years time.
