I just wanted to take a moment to comment and thank you for your videos. I ran across them randomly looking for ED tutorials- having done the built in tuts and watched all the official vids... and I must say: Yours are better. By far. You are concise, straight to the point, show exactly what you are doing and why, the effects it might have on other play aspects/ship management... and you give real, practical tips without all the fluff, flash and self-aggrandizement of other ED channels. Bravo. For all of these reasons, you have my gratitude, like and subscription.
The Guardian Frame Shift Drive module will also increase your range by up to 10 LY. Currently removed due to a bug, but it is supposed to be reintroduced shortly, perhaps in 3.1. And then there's synthesis of Jumponium...
You are the most concise and easy to follow person who has ever listed information, my lecturers could learn a lot from you. Earned a sub and finally convinced me to make the jump on engineering.
do kind of love shielded so far as i had no materials for range nicly combined to fuel scoop as just at rank 2 can scoop up and charge and it just below heat damage taken range after its complete but that increased range on the other sounds just as juicy but at te cost of integrity is a little off putting if your ship is not fully engineered to negate killing of the fsd
Thank you again for another outstanding video for the ED community! This one was quite helpful, I will be passing on your videos and knowledge to my wingmen so that they can get up to speed (every pun intended)!
Yeah, I believe they break even with their range boost with size 5 FSD, though mass manager is then preferable because the smaller fuel use. On larger drives mass manager is clearly better and the other way around with smaller ones. As size 5 FSD is common it's understandable they put the break point there.
That's exactly what it's for - if your boot time is say 2 second and you get interrupted it's only 2 seconds until you can charge for jump again (as that effects reboot time)
Dammit, can anyone tell me how to get these materials? Iron, sulfur, nickel, stuff like that? I’m lost. Every video seems to assume I know and never explains. I’ve never seen this stuff in game
DBX uses a class 5 FSD. For this class, Mass Manager and Deep Charge should give equal jump range, but Deep Charge will burn more fuel, lowering your total (multi-jump) range. So use Mass Manager.
That cracks me up as, I suppose like most, I really hate it. When I did my very first video I used a text-to-speech bot I hate it so much. A few friends talked me into narrating it myself and here we are. I suppose it's not Gilbert Gottfried.
Are these numbers after engineering the FSD to the max level of 5 times? That is the problem with all you tubers I think. Nobody mentions in their videos the grind. This is the effect of engineering your ... nobody says you have to do the process 5 or more times per level and there are 6 levels.

You're most welcome and thanks for the very kind thoughts.
I second this. You for how to’s and obsidian ant for exploration and lore
@@quiksilver6312 exactly my opinion as well.
Thank you for these tutorials, your “no filler, get right to the point” style is SUCH a relief and really appreciated. Subbed.

Good point on juponium, have a video ready to go when they get their shit fixed.

Best ED tut channel ever!
The intros are getting better! These are amazing
Great video! Keep em coming!
This is helping me greatly. Please do all modules!
Oh I am, I'll cover every module and option soon
CMDR Exigeous Nnnnice!

This video actually helped!
Love these videos. Any plans to do one for shields?
Yep, probably my most requested actually - look for it in the next couple weeks at most.

Can you cover bulkheads? I'm working on engineering my type 10 and looking to upgrade all my modules and haven't found a good bulkhead explanation
I wish there was a blueprint to reduce the cooldown timer. That's the only possible change that could even challenge the long range mod for dominance.
Yeah, don't think I ever see that happening though...
quick reload helps against Rocket Propelled FSD Disrupter, an additional 8 seconds for a merchant ship allow you to survive in an open game on CG)
Merchant.
Open.
Pick one.
I hope by "reload" you don't mean combat logging as we'll have none of that around here....
I don't get it why I need to choose Deep charge over Mass manager? Later is better in every way.
It depends on the ship/size. For class 4 and smaller deep charge is better, for 5 and higher generally mass manager is best.

Can I ask about whether faster-boot can deal with FSD-disrupter or missiles with interrupt experimental effect?
That's exactly what it's for - if your boot time is say 2 second and you get interrupted it's only 2 seconds until you can charge for jump again (as that effects reboot time)
many thanks ; )
You should have at least 5X the subscribers.
I think so too, right :D
You're making content only for 4 months and already at 11k, I bet you'll be at 50k till the end of the year.

Didn't you already upload this earlier...?
Yep - there was a mistake in it that a viewer noticed so I fixed and reposted.
They really should've added an experimental that reduced fuel usage
You didn't explain how to get them
So, for my QoL to get more LY per jump Mass Manager or Deep Charge in a DBX?
DBX would be Deep Charge if you want max range - it's about .5 ly better - so not huge ;-)

Why am I still watching these after I uninstalled...?
Because of my amazing videos and sexy voice? No, wait, it can't be that....
Actually your voice is quality. I should know, I've done Voice Over work.

That great and all, its finding the shit for it thats the problem.
First :D 7 sec. after posting :D
Oh shit, it's one of "those" guys ;-)
How rude i do not sleep or eat waiting for you to post chlip chlip :( and it was middle of the night in my country chlip chlip :(
