The character i love playing with in this game is known by @Cicuta, this is also my main account i play with and make video on TH-cam by. The fastes way how to get 8500+ dilitium in 15-25 min, is by doing Dyson sphere ground mission.
For killing each T rex is 670 dilitium ( you have no problem of killing 2), then for completing the ground mission is 3600 dil.
Also you are rewarded with 5 Voth cybernetic implant and 3 can be change for 1000 dil in reputation system.
and ofc all the time you collecting dyson marks and 50 can be trade for 500 dil in reputation system.
Is this still accurate? And is there a specific mission? Or just beam down and start killing stuff and take over the red sections??
Yeah its still accurate but take in consideration that those 15-25 minutes are for each character you have. You will get burn out with many characters.
@@MrCody6925 yes, just never ever give 50 for 500 dil it's a waste. Later when you reach level 6 you'll be able to get 340 dil from 15 marks every hour. So its better to save that 50 mark and try do the rep reward every hour or so (has 24hour cd if you do all three in a day). So if my math is right you'll get just 800 dill for 45 marks in 3 hours.
@@MrCody6925 normally takes me about 5 mins per toon just doing the Admirallty repeating the ferengi TOD, And the contraband mission then over to the fleet R&D for the 1200 dill that only takes a few seconds to do if you have the resources.

Like always great info from my good friend Cicuta. I found a nice spot on Nimbus 3 a little side mission that takes about 3 min. The NPC is in the bar on Nimbus 3, The mission is called creatures of the dessert. He has more missions for dil but they take about 5 min each but if you have time might as well try them plus you get accolades for doing them. The Creatures Of the Dessert mission yields 680 dil max in 2 min. after getting mission go out the back door of the bar to get to the beacon to start it. The dil is on a sliding scale If you kill 40 Creatures in the time limit you get 680 Dil. It's very easy to max out plus you get help from your boffs. Easier now to just run random daily TF's. In about 30 min you'll generate a ton of dil, credits and marks.
I make 2000 to 6000 Dilithium per toon daily in the duty officer missions alone...admiralty gains me 1000 to 3000 most days plus more when you complete the 10 of 10 missions. You don’t need to jump through the oops for the contraband, it’s almost easier to buy contraband on the exchange instead. Focus on the Dil daily missions, doffs, admiralty, TFO’s and daily missions.
you missed a few easy spots for fast dil that deserve mentioning 1) academy daily trivia - 480 dil (cheat and use wiki for answers for guaranteed dil ) 2) fleet research lab for daily r&d mission - 1200 dil + 5000 r&d pts and 3) fleet dil mine for daily mining doff mission - 500 dil. for my dailies I play 10 toons and bout roughly 20 min per toon to get 8k dil for a max of 80k refined dil daily which totals bout 3hrs
Warr68 i understand what you are trying to say here ... but let me summarize it up 10 toon, 20 min per toon = 200 Minutes. Thats 3 houres and 20 minutes ... that is just to much time on farming
yes its a long time but also all my toons are playable for events like sompek, mirror universe or crystalline entity that rolls around thru out the year where as a lot of low level alts are not
Some very basic, quick ways is simply doing advanced Pve’s like Crystalline entity gives 720 dilithium only takes 4 minutes and repeatable every 30 minutes. And you can trade dilithium from one toon to another. As long as you are in a fleet theres a doff Assignment at fleet dilithium base one is daily for 500 additional refinement that will get you a total of 8500 per day. That takes 30 seconds to complete. And the fed guy at academy will do additional 1000 every 48 hours. Some others ways are fleet projects that can earn 5%-10% on top of whatever total was going to be. Some Lock boxes have mining vouchers depending on your skill at mining they can earn over 5000 dilithium per voucher. And there are daily and hourly reputation that 340 per hour for all rep categories. I have all reputations finished so I can still do the hourly’s at a cost is 15k EC 1000 xp, & 15 reputation marks each. You can spend 50 Marks and for example 3 Borg neural implants for a fast 500 dilithium. Info from video and other comments I believe that covers it all other than replaying story mode and which is the slowest and most time consuming way. Well one last way get you credit card out and buy Zen and convert to dilithium. $50 get you approximately 85,000 depending on market rate. Don’t recommend doing that.

You forgot about the 1 hour rep projects. If you get all unlocked for 15 marks some XP and EC you get 3740dil per hour. Worth it.
Film Monk Productions cool idea ... but how would i get the marks for them on each char ... see what i mean need to farm marks to get that going too ... thats why i did not say this in the video.
Alot of people turned their marks from the final tier 5 bonuses in for 500 to 5000 dil. This would be a mistake. As if you do your daily with borg red alert, CCA, ISA and others you will always have alot.
I do all the diff missions that pay out 50, 125 and 250 did too. It’s only a few minutes more and I think is for it. I only have 9 toons this far tho.

If you run out of Colonists, buy them in the exchange about 20k energy credits a pop. Under civilians, buy 5 colonists that dont have Aggresive/Unruly for 100k EC -> 500 dilithium!
Have you ever done mining of dil from your rep, after they hit level 5?? It is not affected by dil boost, but you can pull almost 4k out of it every hour. :)

Ok, so I'll ask the dumb question. What is the point of sitting on a mountain of UNrefined dil when you can only refine 8500 dil daily?
utube well that is not a dumb question, me personally i am not on each day ... so automatically because of my veteran buff i refine 8.000 per day. Even if i DO NOT login the game at all ;))))
STOunrefined Ah! I didn't know that. If it's converting when you are not looking, then I guess it makes sense to keep the dil tank full.

Yeah i did this once too. i had up to 5 STO windows open and minimized at the same time and each had a different account. after 3 years they banned all of my 50 accounts!
each account was level 50 with endgear.
they used some bogus violated tos ban reason, basically they don't need any reason at all just to ban you.
if they don't like you, you are gone.
i think i farmed too much dil/zen/ec and they didn't like that i never bought zen with real world dollars for this "supposed free-to-play" game.
where is the difference between one account with 50 chars and 50 accounts with 1 char?
either way you can only play with one character at a time!
two chars had the suliban cell ship and invited all the other chars one after another or one char was camping in the starfleet base and map invited the other chars.
i had to constantly switch the STO windows.
mostly i had only 3 windows open due to much load on gpu and cpu.

Maybe I wasn't listening, maybe this video has become outdated, but is there any specific way to get the contraband duty officer assignments to appear? All of mine simply reward a few dilithium ore and no contraband
fruit salad There are a lot of mission for the KDF to farm contraband ... they are all tide on locations ... take a better look at the video :)
what about reputation with all completed reputations you have less ec to spend per reputation about 7500 and get 340 dilitium times 10 each reputation per hour but say like playing sto for at least 3 hours can get you 10200 dilitium plus small missons in admirality excluding tour of duty will give 50 to 500 dilitium and will also fairly replace some of the ec spent but at the cost of a fair amount of pve play time to top up the rep points.
Kegan Campbell but how am i going to farm the marks for them on a massive scale, in a very short amount of time? .... i can means i have to farm those too
oh it wont be difficult with the 1 character i did this with can farm everything comfortably but for multiple characters i will have to schedule farming at least 45 rep marks each x 11 per day thats for each character
So about 5k dilth a day, just massed by having 20 characters.

you want multiple char on 1 account so you can refine more then 8k dilith daily, in this video he only uses a 2nd account to shave a few min off the time it takes hopping around the map so 2nd account is not needed

no you can only run 1 char per account, if you do want to run 2 char at same time you will need 2 accounts

Is there a way to share Dil, or Zen across accounts or characters?
You can share dilithium to your other characters, not sure about accounts though. I do this daily. All you have to do is go to the Dilithium Exchange, and set a price that nobody in their right mind will buy/sell at. For instance, I just just set my at 25 dil per zen (the lowest amount)...which would be a few hundred zen for only 8000 dilithium and nobody is going to take that offer. (And if they do, well...you just got one hell of a deal. 8000 dil for a few hundred zen.) Then you go onto the character you want to move the dilithium to and open the exchange again and hit cancel. You are refunded the dilithium in full and can put it in your inventory that way. I learned this the hard way and used to just turn it into zen and exchange it like that...big mistake. You lose out really.
Imo, you don't really need but one account. If you're interested in serious farming, you just need one account and get more slots for characters. I have 11 characters on 1 account. All my time is taken up there, so I have no need for another one. If I refine 8000 per day on each of those characters it comes out to 88,000 dilithium per day. And if I do it every day for a month, it adds up to over 2.5 million dilithium...which equals to 8000+ zen per month. So two months and basically you can buy those huge packs like the Delta or Gamma or Temporal packs. It's definitely time consuming...but to me it beats paying tons of real money for it. I bought a lifetime sub years ago and that's the only investment I've really made into it. Plus I get an extra 500 zen every month for it...so I've already made my money back plus a lot more. It's not for everybody, but there are plenty of people who do this and are the richest players in the game. I know someone who writes a blog about it on a popular STO channel and he claims to also farm 80,000 dilithium per day. Once you really understand your favored path to making your 8000 per day, it just becomes kinda routine and easier.

Watch out the devs have log files for everything in the game even a hidden spectator mode and a gateway showing every possible data about your char.
they watch successfull farmers and then they nerf the farming methods.
and they really have the balls to call STO a f2p game. bullshit.
if you don't pay you farm or else you won't get far in any endgame mission.
you will die every minute, there is no gameplay fun without good gear.
i have meanwhile farmed all epic and the best setup and gear for my main char. i have choosen the best race, the best ship, the best class, doffs, boffs etc. and still elite stf's are almost impossible to finish.
the npc's are too hard they have ridicolous high hull and hitpoints.
they have removed 50% of our chars power and now we need to earn it back to the previous state with this stupid endeavor games. assholes.
Since years we can only earn 8000/8500/9000 dil per day and char but everything in this game has become overprized. just look at the ridiculous lobi ship prices. 900 lobi for one fucking ship!
the true price for the ships isn't even 5 dollars. maybe 1-2 dollars per ship is a fair reasonable price. but in STO the devs are too greedy. some ships cost 200-300 dollars!!! Wtf what stupid moron pays so much for a few digital pixels. he needs to consult a mental health doctor asap.
it's time they either increase the dil refining cap or lower the zen/lobi/dil prices.
