"Is she holding a grudge or is the grudge holding her like her mother should have?" Brutal and beautiful line that one 🙌

"If a daughter forgives her mother again. Will it hurt more or less when the mother is careless with her, again." 💔

That was so good, so many people don't talk about mothers like this, it's almost taboo but they're out there and the damage to prove it is astronomical. Thank you for your beautiful poetry about something so painful💖

Not only is this real and imaginative but there's alot of quotables. A riddle within a poem within a riddle that is a metaphor and reality at the sametime, genius!

100% relatable. Pain within pain. I have ZERO relationship with mine. Never have.

I relate so much, but in the opposite way. I have this problem with my father. This poem brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing.

Same with me and my mother . As a adult I had to realize that no matter what I did it would never be good enough to please my mother I know I will never make her proud of me and that was a very bitter pill to swallow and it also set me free . I also had to realize all my life I have wondered what was wrong with me and then I realized that it wasn't what was wrong with me it's what was wrong with her that makes her unable to give love I had to quit going around her altogether it was the only way to end her mental abuse

    Holding a grudge is like
Letting someone live rent free in your head

My mom did the same fucking thing. Turned a blind eye to my dads emotional and physical abuse. I realized that the guilt I felt was not mine to bear... she was the one who had to live with herself, knowing she turned a blind eye to what was happening.
I hope you find further healing... you are worthy. 🖤
