Nice video. Couple of thoughts. The use of twist on electrical connectors is not recommended in automotive. They will vibrate loose and you'll be on the trail trying to figure out why the external switch is not working. Suggest using crimp caps. Also the use of 1/0 is not effective unless you change out the 4ga battery leads (Positive and Negative) to the distribution blocks to the same size of 1/0. you are essentially choking the current at the source which is your purpose in installing 1/0.
It has a pure mechanical brake check out my other video on that. I’m guessing it’s something with DC motor theory I don’t understand. th-cam.com/video/nDrncwWpgys/w-d-xo.html
@@hansw33 I saw a video recently about lathes having less power in reverse because the brushes are timed to deliver more power in one direction. It might be that.
I use 1-0 wire for all my primary battery connections ( pos, neg, chassis ground, and a jumper to starter ground)
Are you willing to ship the dash labels to Ca. ? ;)

Thanks for the reply I did bump up my battery cables to match. Good point.
Any chance the odd power wire releases a brake?
