Great solve, really fun to watch! Very interesting to see how you got the digits on the shifter line in box 3, I always love it when you find a new way to tackle things. Spoiler:
The way we expected you to see it was that it couldn't be 13 because the shifter line wouldn't shift.

Always a pleasure solving your puzzles gUBBLOR.
And I take pride in regularly finding unexpected solve paths 😉
Adding fog at the end was ingenius btw, I expect it contributed materially to the enjoyment of this puzzle.

I enjoyed this immensely - thank you for finding it for us :) Whilst it's true there are a multitude of rules, they're all standard variant sudoku so nothing tricky to remember

Nice! It waa a little tricky at first but soon as I placed some digits it got pretty smooth! Thank you! 😊

    43 minutes
    Fun
    (From Slueth's start @10:04)
    Cool
Definitely came down to that Shifter line going into box7 (the 24 & the 68 weren't available on the other side in r7c3), so it couldn't be a 13 above, so 24.
    Cool one
    I could dig it.
(Although, I don't know how ya "dig" Fog out -- but, apparently I did..)
    Cool one.
    😅

I sometimes wonder what the ratio of time spent creating Sleuth images vs time spent solving puzzles is.

You don't need to wonder. Watch the anniversary special and you can find out 😉

Just a tad over what I consider GAS, but not bad. Thanks for including the boxes for the lines as with that many rules, I definitely didn't want to mess up. It was a quick 19 minutes for me!

28 Minutes for me, Solver #100! This was a lot of fun and had a nice flow to it! I did not need the between line in my solve at all, it was just sudoku at that point.

Box 7 was the last one i had to place digits in, and the between line was superfluous, weird... but great puzzle :) 35:04 for me

24:19 but i havent seen grid. So i dont known all lines are so short. Rules amount make it annoying as need to think so many different type of rules.

How are we to know what type of line goes between boxes 3 and 6? This is a mess, and i'm already deeply disinterested.

@@TheAntibozo all yellow lines are shifter lines

@@aixela3497 The line between boxes 3 and 6 is green. I don't see any yellow lines on the untouched puzzle. But really, i'm not wasting my time on this one. The whole concept is idiotic.

@@TheAntibozo Well, I guess you could say, they're slightly, slightly lime colored.
But, they're NOT "green," nor are they the color of German Whispers.
      Ever, EVER so SLIGHTLY lime.
      They're yellow in my book.
Unless you're trying to argue, the rules should have specified which boxes ALL of the shifter lines are in (too many).
      They are yellow/lime, tops.
      I found it very enjoyable.
Standard rules on all of the constraints/lines and things, too.
Not "idiotic," as you have said.
      I found it enjoyable.
      Fun, in other words.
(And I'm friggin slow and careful)
      Have a good one.

    • @TheAntibozo
      @TheAntibozo หลายเดือนก่อน

@@stevesebzda570 While there is a yellow tinge to them, they are plainly green. If you don't believe me, use the colouring tool on the puzzle and alternately color r4c7 yellow (8) or green (4) and see how well the line shows up against the background. It's irrelevant anyway because the rules do not say anything about yellow lines. You may enjoy the mess all you like, but i have no patience for setters who cannot be clear in their language.

    • @stevesebzda570
      @stevesebzda570 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@TheAntibozo I was about to comment, the rules DO say which boxes the German Whispers are in (boxes "2+3").
That'll settle, you thinking box6 was involved with them.
Btw, I have no idea what you mean with "yellow (8)" or "green (4)" or whatever you said about r4c7 & r4c8.
      Yellow dye number 8?!
(I've heard of "Yellow dye number 5." Lol)
The rules plainly told you the German Whispers were in "boxes2&3," that's it.
      I found it fun.
      Have a good one..
