@sudokusleuth I haven't finished watching the video yet because I'm still trying to complete the puzzle on my own but when you placed the 7 in row 2 column 5 it didn't clear fog. Thus it had to be some other digit.

At 19:20, why can't you put the digits in the order 2, 3, 4?

I ended up doing some coloring in this puzzle (just skimmed your video and I had the same thought as you did). Solid puzzle; 34 minute solve

Very enjoyable. Had a big grin on my face as each bit got resolved. Just shy of 30 minutes for me.

I was all over the place on this. I both used the Phistomofel Ring and added up ALL cages (not just Box 5) to figure out the center digit.

Great puzzle , liked the way all the pairs interacted. Simple rules but challenging ( for my level at least ) , perfect !

Hey Sleuth around 16mins into your solve, you would have nailed it spotting the 9 placement in box 9 because of the arrow lines and other eliminations. I share not to criticise but to contribute to our collective learning on these wonderful puzzles!

Wow ... this puzzle flows in such a way! The symmetry, the sequencial solve, 9s appearing, then 3s, some 6s, pair 45, then 78. I ... have no words. Best thing I had before going to sleep. I thank Adem Jaziri very much.

I was quite slow in the beginning, but after finding 45 pairs started to work on those, and quickly came to the defining dot, and then everything fell apart in a moment! Liked to notice a modular negative diagonal (think has no use for solving, just a fun fact).

I had lots of coloring in this one... 12 pairs, 45 pairs, and 78 pairs. That was very helpful to eliminate places for other digits. My time today was 11:03, solver number 556.

I am surprised that you didn't spot the 9 more easily in box 1 as the circle was the only option for it to be placed in because of the 9's in box 3 and 7.

Using the Phistomefel Ring is always fun!

Today's crash and burn: 1 plus 4 equals 6! Worked all the way to 3 cells remaining in row 2 and row 3 with no way to resolve them. Thankfully it didn't take me long to spot the incorrect arrow sum by checking all the variant constraint cells.

Either the top or bottom 25 and 28 cage pair with the common box places 68 vertically in the 28 cage. (25+28)-(45-(1+2+3))=14 with 5 not available.

As others have said, this was a brilliant puzzle.

I don't think I've ever done a puzzle that literally unwound at the end. Round and round in a circle constantly moving inward. Pretty cool.

82 minutes. Took forever to find a break in

The cages in columns 1 and 2 tell you that the first 2 cells in row nine have to add to 4 so force a 13 pair.

Saw the Ph ring straight away but was clueless about the break in. Thanks so much for the help. Really good

Kicking myself. I had the puzzle 100% pencil marked and wound up staring at it for almost an hour because I didn't see where the marks were forcing me to place the last number. Once I found it, the rest of the solution fell into place like dominoes. Total solve time = 56:22

The Phistomefel ring trick was very handy here, as well as the remainders in r9c12 and r1c89 to determine sums. In fact, there was a lot of lovely logic throughout the entire puzzle! My time today was 6:27, solver number 642.

I did look/use P ring but then added the cages in columns 1 and 2, left with 4 for the 2 digits in those columns in row 9 which gave me the other 2 digits in the 20 cage in box 7 and I was away!

Enjoyed watching your solve Sleuth. The immediate logic for me was in the wrong direction using the Phistomefel ring!

That took me 36 minutes, but I really enjoyed it. Now, I'll have to watch the video to see if I did it the "right" way.
