      Because of the theft? You may check back, Hyundai has issued recalls and fixed the issue.

      @@GTGarageTalk I’m assuming it’s a comprehension they won’t cover and that’s for theft and vandalism. Geico said no.

      They told me they were not offer the comprehensive coverage which covers for theft and vandalism. They ran the VIN. It was for a 2022 and from what I read, it wasn’t even one of the model years effective. But I have enough going on and I wasn’t going to try to change car insurance

      Hyundai replaced the engine under warranty at 50,000 miles on my wife's Elantra. But the damn thing rides like all Hyundais do. You feel everything. Like they forgot to include suspension.

    I like the Venue but the it is around a foot shorter in length and has like 6 cubic foot less cargo space. Plus on the Hyundai Venue you cannot get rear automatic braking, 360 surround view cameras, heated steering wheel, LED fog lights, adaptive cruise control or the Bose audio. Plus again the Venue is much smaller. They both look great in my opinion and I love the Denim interior on that Denim Blue and contrast White Venue which is still available on the 2024 Denim Limited. But I like the Gray and Black interior with Orange stitching on the Kicks as its sharp. I love the Bose audio system with headrest speakers in the Kicks. I looked at both vehicles and drove both the same day on dealer lots and the loaded 2023 Hyundai Venue Limited (MSRP $24,500.00) and the loaded 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium (MSRP $26,130.00) only had like $1,600.00 difference in price. That additional $1,600.00 for the loaded Kicks gets you much nicer features and a larger vehicle. The one main benefit the Venue has is the Hyundai 10/100,000 mile warranty vs the Kicks 5/60,000 mile warranty. But for me I trade every 2 to 3 years and I never exhaust the warranty on any vehicle I have ever owned so it made no difference to me.
    In the end I chose and bought my brand new Kicks in October 2023 and got a 2023 Nissan Kicks SR with the $1,390.00 Premium Package, Carpeted Floor Mats and Carpeted Cargo Mat, 4 Set Splash Guards and the special charge Boulder Gray paint color and my MSRP on the Window Sticker was $26,130.00. Nowhere could I find a better value new vehicle for the price with all the features the top trim Kicks had. No where. Plus the Kicks is loaded with safety features and 10 airbags even on the base trim Kicks S! One feature absolutely wanted was a 360 camera and that is hard to find under $30,000.00 but the Kicks SR had it. Also the rear automatic braking works like a charm when parking in tight quarters and it will not let you bang into anything it stops you each and every time and its fun to test it for the fun of it lol even creeping back super slow it stops you. I am extremely happy with my Kicks and will definitely but another Kicks in 2 years and by then the bugs should be worked out of the all new fully redesigned Kicks coming out this summer! Its super sharp and upscale.

    Venue. all day. i had one as a rental and loved it. given Nissan's CVT history and JATCO's unreliability, the Kicks is a no-go if i ever were to shop between the two.

    So I was stuck between a Venue and Kicks, and I've been in a kick and it was just ok but need a crossover. I saw the Venue and it seemed legit but Hyundai used to be bad, now they are great but now that I've seen an honest review I think I'm going to test drive one tomorrow and hopefully get it

    These are CUVs NOT SUV
    SUV- Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, Toyota Highlander etc
    CUV- Jeep Compass, Kia Soul, Nissan Kicks, Fiat 500L etc.
    people get them mixed up all the time.
    You don’t call a Honda Fit a full size sedan.

    • @GTGarageTalk
      @GTGarageTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And what would you say are the distinguishing differences? Size? Because all the vehicles you listed are unibody construction.
