In this video I built a fully LEGO Monorail in my up coming lego city. It is fully autonomous and even drives up hills, around corners and through a station!

i have two notes:
1. raise the platforms so they're level with the doors of the train rather than the track.
2. add a third car in the middle so it doesn't look as stubby.
otherwise a very cool start to jefftown
I think that this is all coming along pretty great. A backstory that I can come up with for why Jeff is having a whole city built just for him is because he one day won the lottery, but since he was just recently graduated and him and many other people he knew couldn't afford places to live, he put his knowledge to use and constructed a city to help give other people the opportunity to live and work somewhere safe.

Backstory: Jeff’s father is the man that fell into a river in Lego city, and his mother ran off to get milk. After a normal childhood, he graduated and decided to leave home to find his career in agriculture. Unfortunately, he forgot that you have to touch grass as a farmer. He decided that a job in the city would suit him better, so he moved to [insert city name here]. Since this city has a population of 1 including him, he voted himself city planner and mayor.

Jef is a veteran from a war with Gundam style robots who led a successful raid on the enemy capital. Thanks to his efforts, the conflict ceased, and there was finally a glimmer of hope for a good life. He is a hero to his people. This city is being built atop the ruins of a city destroyed in the war. Jef wants to help his people get back on their feet, so using his engineering skills, he helps rebuild his home. This is simply the first of many reconstruction projects Jef will take part in. And even then, Jef won’t stop in his efforts to help the community

8:36 I love one of these unspoken rules of MOC building: if you buy a set specifically for one or two individual pieces, you MUST build the entire set as intended first before removing the piece and continuing on your way with your MOC.

An inventor, Jeff came to the city to make a difference. Realizing that no city functions without robust public transport, he set to work, designing an outside connection through an airport, and a monorail to make it easy to get from one end of the city to the other.
The result is sick! Awesome troubleshooting and engineering man!
Such a cool and fresh idea to focus on the functionality and mechanisms of the city when most people just focus on the design and treat it like a stationary model with maybe a moving train at most. Subbed

Dude this was such an entertaining video, you know how much I love LEGO cities so this was right up my alley lol. I especially loved the station, amazing job!
The monorail actually looks really good considering what massive and kind of ugly function pieces had to be put into it, and you dealt with the wires really well too! I can't wait to see what's next for the series!

I did have some concerns when you switched it for the smaller motor, mainly over gear ratio, but you handled it amazingly! I also love how the gears are visible through the sides.
Jeff's backstory: he is actually Jeff Bezos and he thought "well, owning a business isn't enough" so he wanted to own an entire city.

Jeff was a simple man, living in the big city. He was content, but he had a dream. He was inspired by the success of those he saw in the newspapers and on television. He began to put in the work, put in the hours, and take what was his. He became successful, deciding to use his money to build his own private city, employing the building skills of RJMBricks. The end.

Jeff was a humble person who was hit by hard times and struggled to find work. Then one day he found a job listing as a garbage collector and so he decided to do that, a few months while doing his rounds he heard someone mentioning having a statue built of them for doing something great or noble so Jeff decided, maybe I could do that. So he decided to clean up the entire city, " maybe " He thought. " I'll have a statue built of me for cleaning up the city. " So he began cleaning up the city, removing every piece of garbage or scrap he could find. Later while removing these garbage bags from the curve, he heard a man shouting " Stop Theif !" He looked to see a robber being chased by two policemen, the crook had stolen a bunch of jewelry from a nearby shop and was making a run for it. Jeff decided to help and drove the truck he was using to collect the trash with after them, once he was ahead he stopped the truck in the middle of the street causing the robber to be caught by the police, who thanked Jeff for helping them catch a wanted criminal. Jeff was later praised by the city for not only stopping a criminal but also for cleaning up the city as that didn't go unnoticed. When the mayor asked Jeff about how they could repay him. He asked to have a statue built in his honor, which was soon approved, Jeff would be in many interviews and talk shows being asked about the whole thing, he would also be given a huge check of ninety-nine thousand dollars, and after getting a little more cash to add to the money he had from the check, he used it to build a whole city for himself.

Jeff is an orphan, He never liked living in a country town because it made him feel lonely. This drove jeff to love large metropolis like cities, leading to him requesting of the worlds greatest designer rjmBricks to create the perfect city.

A long time ago… 1985 a child named Jeff Was born, his mother Caroline died soon after😢 His father Heartbroken by this became an Alcoholic and wouldn’t stop… He had a dream one day… he had a city where nobody would be mother/fatherless ever again! So Jeff with his brand new 10,000,000,000,000 dollar loan decided to start construction on his beautiful city❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

You should make a line of the monorail go off the table to be a line leaving the city but make it go into a garbage can to signify every other city is garbage

But I do wish you make the battery car a passenger car (maybe add more passenger cars) and add an extra car that looks like the front one(for the back)also, I can’t wait to see you add tunnels, and buildings, etc. to this design. Jeff was a inventor In 3278. He was an amazing inventor. He made mechanics that can save people's lives. He earned thousands of dollars and made more mechanics to help the world. Eventually he made hover cars but because they were so advanced they cost a lot of money for the public to buy. The public hated the costs and drove him out of town. He decided he'll make a town for only the rich so he hired a giant to help build a city. The first thing was transportation.

Jeff started his life in a little sad city. After he gratuated buissness school and his dad fell down a river in lego city he decided to have his city that will have everything he wants in a city.

do a part 2 and make a city around it for the train to go through and a tunnel
You can put the motor horizontally on its car and use bevel gears to change the power direction. That way you can use a central gear.
