Learn how I plan for photography trips & to take photos of the night sky in this 3 part video series.
Part I has just been released, and part II and III will be out in the coming weeks.

GREAT stuff Dave! Thinking I should have taken more time to research my Monument Valley trip (I regularly use all of the tools mentioned) Friday night/Saturday morning.
Alas, I still came away with some decent images, despite Mother Nature not cooperating. :)
Dave Morrow will check it out when I have a bit more time at my hands :))
Pete Miller thanks man! It's all good, sometimes fun to go out without researching at all. I do it often;) Also good to have the knowledge required to plan if you deem it necessary.
Cheers!
Anette Mossbacher cool! Thanks for looking
Dave Morrow Definitely! I probably plan more than I should, but have been embracing "serendipity" more of late. 😊
Wonderful tutorial Dave! I really appreciate how you spending all the time to put together the tutorial and contributing so much of your knowledge to the community!

Great tutorial. I was familiar with luminosity masks but unclear as out exactly how I would incorporate them into my work flow. Your tutorial helped me to find my way. Thanks again and good job.

Thank you for this video. I currently live in Germany and hadn't heard of the website blue marble before.
You're welcome! Enjoy
Milky Way is only visible certain time of the night and months of the year?
Visibility is location ( lat / long ) & time ( of day and of year ) dependent.
Thank you for making the videos very informative!
