Have you been happy with the night videos and reading license plates? Do you think the inside camera is more for those that drive for Uber or Lyft or do you find that is worth it. Also if you get a new car, I wonder what you can do with the window bracket. Shame it does not you a suction connection.
Happy but could be better. I have to zoom in when vehicles are moving fast. frame rate is at 30FPS. The inside camera is awesome. Well worth it. Not sure about a window bracket. It might work i just haven't tried or thught about it.
Just curious, what is the purpose of the electrostatic film? does it reduce glare or other light filter ? Seems like it would be easier for the camera to fall off, if not attached directly to the glass. Also, when I installed my rear camera, I installed it upside down. Did I miss the "up" locator?
Just to attach to the front windshield of your vehicle by static electricity with no damage to the surface or residual marks. I also don't see a locator that shows which side is up. It would be nice if there was a setting to flip the view.
@AutoSensation ok....in my experience I've never seen a foam adhesive pad damage a glass windshield. If the foam/adhesive sticks to the glass, just scrape it off with a razor and clean with glass cleaner. But I know, that's what the directions say that the electrostatic film is for. Thanks for the video!
I think it's more protection if you have tint. Yes using a razor blade works great I use to do that. I review lots of dash cams and for me using an electrostatic film is just easier. For others that are looking for a more permanent solution, placing directly on the windshield would be the way to go. @@nectros7157
I have the V2 OMBAR dashcam which doesn't include the camera for inside the car, but overall it's the same. I have front and rear cameras. I am bit confused about how to get the video clips. when I start the car, the camera powers up and I can see recording start with the red dot blinking. Do I need to connect to WIFI via the Oncam App each time the camera turns on, or do I only use Oncam App to see live view or to download video clips. If I should use OCAM APP each time I am driving, is there a way to turn on WIFI automatically each time the camera powers up?
Yes. to see live view on your app you need to connect to wifi each time. I think if you set your phone to remember and to connect auto when wifi if located you should be able to.
@AutoSensation mine is configured to connect tonthe wifi app automatically but for some reason it doesn't and it also tells me to format my sd card every time. I don't see the recording red button on the screen. Do i need to push the record button every time i get in the card? Should it not auto record as i start the card? The manual is not as helpful.
i just installed my ombar 3 dash cam. i have also installed the hardwire kit and i when i go to turn on the parking mode it says “make sure hardwire kit is connected” and it doesn’t let me turn it on. everything is connected right, i’ve doubled checked everything. what do you think it may be ?
I have issue with screen , my screen is freeze with pink car picture . Nothing happened when I turn on off unplugged and remove SD card . Help me please
Do I need to have an iPhone to see my saved videos or to install the wifi? I'm trying to install the SD card on my phone but it's too big. I have an android. The wifi won't connect to my phone no matter what I do.
I got the exact same dash camera, connecting ot to my phone through the app, I can't play the content on my phone, every time I click to play any stored video on my app, it disconnect from the camera, please advise. Thanks
I would try unistalling the app and reinstalling. If that don't work try factory reset your dash cam. Also make sure no other bluetooth/wifi is tryng to connect.
@@AutoSensation just to better understand sir, so if I can get a hardwire kit installed along with my dash cam it will record while the car is shut off as well?
@@zaymcwhorter425 Yes. 2 options to record while vehicle is off. Time-lapse Your dash cam continuously records at 1FPS (one frame per second) or collision mode when a hard impact is detected it will start to record
I just got this...but i bought the version that has the front and cabin, as my car allows me to view its rear camera at anytime. However, my questions is, does it make sense to get the one that has the rear camera if your rear windows are tinted really dark(5%)? I feel like it's not going to give me the best view, thus making it useless for me.
I'm having trouble with the app. I can connect it to the camera's wifi for an instant, but then my car's wifi takes over. I don't want to "forget" my car's wifi - so am I stuck not being able to see the live cam view?
I was gonna say forget your car's wifi. I'm not sure if this will work but what if you forget all the wifi connections. Then connect your phones wifi first then your car's. My thinking is that it will prioritize your phones wifi over the car. Just a thought.

I did the very same thing - installed it upside down. Took me a while to figure out what was wrong 🙄
I’m just wondering. Did this camera drain the car battery during park?
No. If you have the hardwire kit installed it will shut down after a certain voltage is reached

Not finding the app on play store???
Try scanning the qr code on the manual for the app.
How do I view the interior camera
On the app select switch camera
I have one, it only records in my driveway when I'm connected to the wifi. It doesn't save the footage from when I'm driving around.
Hmmm. Did you check the memory card if the files are in there?
Does this record all three at one time meaning front , cabin and rear?
Yes it does all three simultaneously.
If you don’t want to use the cabin cam, is there an option to do that? Would you just unplug it?
Yes. Just unplug it. @@benvogel7881
