Just try to diversify your portfolio to other market sectors, that way your investment is balanced and you don’t get to make so much losses.

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2020, and I return at least $30k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

For me, Rebecca Noblett Roberts turned out to be better and smarter than all the advisors I ever worked with till date, I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.

This is why I just wrote a book Habits = Life for women out there who can't seem to realize they can change their life with tiny habits each day .... I lay out my cheat code system and continue to share this concept because I KNOW people can start changing their life by changing their habits which then changes their mind and it compounds into a better life with more revenue and better mindset. Thanks for sharing this on getting rich ;) I enjoyed watching.

Only thing I disagree with in this video of yours Cody is, all the studies I've done, I believe Brian Johnson actually does have a great time doing what he's doing. Reason being is because I believe some people smartest people don't like hanging out with people even the smartest ones. Because in reality we all are trying to influence everybody else to think our way and the majority of people are not going to think our way regardless of how much sense we make. 😂 Besides that great video and I hope you and your husband and your team have a awesome new 2024! - BC

@CodieSanchezCT , If I have an apps idea and don't have money to develop it or start a company but I am looking for a company that develop apps for commercial purposes to patner with the company. That is, give them the idea, they develop and market it but we co-own the apps and share profits off the app.
Is these possible and if so, how do I go about it?

    Thanks Codie. My take away:
    1. Rely on discipline not motivation.
    2. Keep the promises I make to myself.
    3. Pick three things a year and do them for one calendar year (33% each one).
    4. Don’t try to be perfect.
    5. Problems are inevitable, we need to continue solving them.
    6. I might need to get new friends that challenge me to be better and pull me up (not stay the same).
    7. You cannot be what you cannot see. Look for the better version of myself, who I want to be.
    8. The success I’m looking for is hiding in the things that I’m avoiding.
    9. Focus on what drives revenue to the bank account. Chase the frog (green for money). Might not be easy or tasty but it’s what will bring the cash.

This is why I have my interests set on market sectors based on performance and projected growth, such as stock, EV sector, renewable energy, Tech, and Health. True. In my opinion, a housing market crash is imminent due to the high number of individuals who purchased homes above the asking price despite the low interest rates. These buyers find themselves in precarious situations as housing prices decline, leaving them without any equity. If they become unable to afford their homes, foreclosure becomes a likely outcome. Even attempting to sell would not yield any profits. This scenario is expected to impact a significant number of people, particularly in light of the anticipated surge in layoffs and the rapid increase in the cost of living....

After 12th grade, i joined the Peace Corps, college, then medical school. My parents taught me a few things here and there, but financial, work ethical, real life advice, how to succeed -- i learned in school. I dont know why the other kids werent paying attention.

You have to grow to get to where you want to go, the people you are with will most likely not want to grow with you......they will hold you back from growing. As you grow, your 5 closest friends will change and will be the people you want to grow into (and if not, then you are not growing!).

12:58 it's refreshing to hear someone with her success not say to completely stop drinking alcohol like a lot of these current podcasters. I have come up with some of my best ideas after knocking back a few, being out at the bar with friends, and not feeling so inhibited and self conscious. Sometimes after working my ass off for weeks or months at a time it's so damn fun and rewarding to go on a little celebratory weekend bender to let loose.

    • @catvergueiro8905
      @catvergueiro8905 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Yeah and they give non drinkers a bad name.
Reaction to psycoactive drugs is SO personal. Some people feel more sleepy when they drink, some people dont feel sleepy at all.
Alcohol makes me feel only drousy and sleepy, so I am actually more energetic and spontaneous if I dont drink. Thats why I dont like drining at parties.
But these people are so loud about how not drinking makes the soooo successful and disciplined and it just sounds like they are trying to feel superior for it. As if people that DO drink werent disciplined or something.

@@catvergueiro8905 that's such a good answer! They almost makes it seem you should feel shameful for drinking alcohol. Even tho it's considered a depressant alcohol actually perks me up and makes me feel social. I feel like these guys have one horrible hangover and suddenly alcohol is the worst thing on earth. I can't tell you how many horrible hangovers I've had. But I've also had a pretty exciting life. And consider myself pretty darn disciplined. 🙌

Thank you! I am a single mom, I've been thinking about investing going into 2024. I'm starting a business and am about to be financially stable enough to start putting money into the market. My biggest question before I get started is: How do I know if the stock market is too high right now so should I wait for a downturn before investing? Or what type of stocks (ETF, Index Funds, Penny Stocks, High Yield Dividends, etc.) should I buy at different turns in the market?

@sammyphon you're really doing well for yourself, my retirement plans are going down the drain. I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel. Since this strategy works for you, how can I contact your advisor?

Exactly what I’m doing again this week. The smartest thing I’ve ever done was having 30% in cash to buy on the way down in 2021. It hurt watching 30-40% discounts drop to 50, but grabbing Google, NVDIA, Apple, and others near the bottom has paid off. I love the bull outlook but I’m not confident to should hold all equities

I love what you are doing, and I am a huge fan of "if my desk/ car/ house/body/ mind... life aren't clean I can't be productive". But if you clean your desk in the morning for 5 minutes, and don't leave your desk messy at the end of the day.... the Sheldon Cooper in me is saying you can save that 5 minutes in the morning since your desk was already cleaned by the past you. Also, the contra to that situation is you can just slack a the end of the day and let future you worry about the problem in the morning, if you can function the rest of the day with that hanging over your head.

These are extremely useful rules for anyone looking to grow rich. Unfortunately, the majority of individuals that see this video will be unable to implement the ideas. We may not like to acknowledge it, but as Warren Buffett famously stated, investing is like any other profession: it takes a certain amount of knowledge. It's no surprise that some people are losing a lot of money during the bear market, while others are profiting by hundreds of thousands. I'm just not sure how they do it. I now have around $570k to invest in the market.

Agreed, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

Much love. Thanks for keeping the good stuff coming, Codie. In listening I realize I did not start 'together' with most of my peers... I started out a bit low, out on the streets and incarcerated briefly several times in my early teens, and so have spent much of my life affiliating with others who started 'low'. It is hard to level up on your own, but the incongruence between who I want to be and who I have become is too great to stay where I am. The good side of feeling isolated and alone a lot is that I have more freedom to create changes in my life.

Our own people constantly destroy our own path to prosperity. We demand higher tax on the rich. We target them blame them steal from them. Our own local business owner with a good heart is just destroyed these days with tax and selfish people whome cannot have any drive to help them. So now if a poor man does manage to create a business he's gonna be suffering from the weights he threw on top of his own community. Facing the tax and insufferable attitude of our own working people today. Meanwhile the real elite whome own the streets the business owners operate on are laughing at us destroy ourselves. It's become a free for all. We no longer have a mindset to build our community up. It's always attack after attack on anyone that has anything over bare minimum.

Wealth Formula: Work more than you have to, spend less than you earn, and invest it wisely (live below your means). I am a "retired" millionaire, my daughter (47) is a multimillionaire and my eldest granddaughter (32) recently joined the club and will retire before she is 40 years old. A little smart and a lot of work NEVER fails and it takes both. We have GEDs, and we are business savvy. Empty pockets are a choice. We are no one's victims, we are conservative capitalists.
