"I've been working hard to save for financial freedom and pay off my high-interest mortgage, but the economy has taken a toll on my investments. Should I continue investing in these uncertain markets, or should I explore other options?
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2020, and I return at least $30k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

In my opinion, a housing market crash is imminent due to the high number of individuals who purchased homes above the asking price despite the low interest rates. These buyers find themselves in precarious situations as housing prices decline, leaving them without any equity. If they become unable to afford their homes, foreclosure becomes a likely outcome. Even attempting to sell would not yield any profits. This scenario is expected to impact a significant number of people, particularly in light of the anticipated surge in layoffs and the rapid increase in the cost of living....

I also follow Alex Hormozi and find his insights equally valuable. Both of you contribute significantly to our community, making our time investment more than worthwhile. Just a note I've found....... the people you are with now will always be an anchor holding you back from where you want to go. You have to grow to get to where you want to go, the people you are with will most likely not want to grow with you......they will hold you back from growing. As you grow, your 5 closest friends will change and will be the people you want to grow into (and if not, then you are not growing!).
I like your comment about cutting of friends. I have an even better rule if we havent had a meaningful conversation in a year or haven't talked at all, you automatically become an acquaintance. Same for relatives.
I've attracted so much money since going completely no contact with my family of origin. The change is amazing, and not just because of the financial drain they were. They cut me down constantly and the terrible things that came into my life were just phenomenal. Now the phenomenon is how many good things I attract :) Seriously. I no longer say "I'm sorry" the minute I wake up, I say "I'm so lucky, rich etc"
Thank you for this video. What a way to close the year. I learnt some tips, I’ll apply to my trading portfolio. Stop earning with your time, start earning with your mind! Besides who trades the financial market?
I was referring to the stock market but willing to try out other financial markets. I made gains from Nvidia this year and got my eyes on Bitcoin and Solana. How do you trade?
Nvidia was superb this year! I trade based on the season of the market. It gives me a direction on implementing the right strategies for long or short term. I also trade based on the volatility of the market. Although it wasn’t easy till I came across a mentor who helped to keep me in the market loop. My mentor is Bernard Paul.
@@BruceCartwrightt This would definitely act as a deciding factor when implementing your strategies. Do you have any factors you consider when purchasing a stock?
I’m conversant with Paul. Paul demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
00:01 Stop earning with your time, start earning with your mind 02:12 Divorce your time from money for exponential return. 04:05 Acrasia effect and the importance of breaking societal norms to be part of the 1% 06:00 Avoid multitasking to maintain productivity 07:50 Rely on discipline, not motivation 09:38 Stop keeping your goals secret 11:23 Connect with other entrepreneurs to share struggles and gain perspective. 13:07 Choose quality over quantity in socializing and drinking. 14:53 Cut out negative influences from your life for personal growth 16:37 Prioritize big tasks over small ones 18:11 Focus on activities that drive revenue. You Can't Judge A Video By Its Cover. you can by its first few chapters and certainly by its last.
The part about stop relying on motivation (an outwardly influence - vs, inspiraton, an inwardly guidance) is a manner to create habit. 30 days of discipline, such as doing pushups each day, creates a stable habit.
12:58 it's refreshing to hear someone with her success not say to completely stop drinking alcohol like a lot of these current podcasters. I have come up with some of my best ideas after knocking back a few, being out at the bar with friends, and not feeling so inhibited and self conscious. Sometimes after working my ass off for weeks or months at a time it's so damn fun and rewarding to go on a little celebratory weekend bender to let loose.
Yeah and they give non drinkers a bad name. Reaction to psycoactive drugs is SO personal. Some people feel more sleepy when they drink, some people dont feel sleepy at all. Alcohol makes me feel only drousy and sleepy, so I am actually more energetic and spontaneous if I dont drink. Thats why I dont like drining at parties. But these people are so loud about how not drinking makes the soooo successful and disciplined and it just sounds like they are trying to feel superior for it. As if people that DO drink werent disciplined or something.
@@catvergueiro8905 that's such a good answer! They almost makes it seem you should feel shameful for drinking alcohol. Even tho it's considered a depressant alcohol actually perks me up and makes me feel social. I feel like these guys have one horrible hangover and suddenly alcohol is the worst thing on earth. I can't tell you how many horrible hangovers I've had. But I've also had a pretty exciting life. And consider myself pretty darn disciplined. 🙌
Great video. You gave me teacher vibes in this video. I’m not disregarding your other skills but I think your destiny was to teach. The talent you have is helping millions of people and we all appreciate it.🙏🏾Thank you from the younger generation🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thank you! I am a single mom, I've been thinking about investing going into 2024. I'm starting a business and am about to be financially stable enough to start putting money into the market. My biggest question before I get started is: How do I know if the stock market is too high right now so should I wait for a downturn before investing? Or what type of stocks (ETF, Index Funds, Penny Stocks, High Yield Dividends, etc.) should I buy at different turns in the market?
@sammyphon you're really doing well for yourself, my retirement plans are going down the drain. I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel. Since this strategy works for you, how can I contact your advisor?
Exactly what I’m doing again this week. The smartest thing I’ve ever done was having 30% in cash to buy on the way down in 2021. It hurt watching 30-40% discounts drop to 50, but grabbing Google, NVDIA, Apple, and others near the bottom has paid off. I love the bull outlook but I’m not confident to should hold all equities
I love what you are doing, and I am a huge fan of "if my desk/ car/ house/body/ mind... life aren't clean I can't be productive". But if you clean your desk in the morning for 5 minutes, and don't leave your desk messy at the end of the day.... the Sheldon Cooper in me is saying you can save that 5 minutes in the morning since your desk was already cleaned by the past you. Also, the contra to that situation is you can just slack a the end of the day and let future you worry about the problem in the morning, if you can function the rest of the day with that hanging over your head.
I love all the content but I like what you said about drinking. I quit drinking for years because I was very irresponsible. I started drinking lightly again but using it as a tool to network and be a part of professional groups / circles. I don’t just drink at home by myself or anything.
1. Focus on the task that make you money. 2. Find a way to earn money for something other than your work/time. 3. Set time limits for task. 4. Do the grunt work 5. Have a clean work spree 6. …..??
Yes! My mom use to tell me all the time you are who you hang with it. I hated hearing that as a kid but now I get it. Im always looking to meet new people and change my friendships when some are dragging me down. I have a few ride or die’s and I adore them. Love this video! Ty Codi for the insights!
Buying a house would be your first mistake. Purchase undeveloped property with a well. Escape all the taxes that are Government. Add up your taxes. Property state county Federal property taxes water bill. Heating bills water bills. Build your own house. Purchase a large solar generator and rv solar panels. Dogs for protection chickens and a garden. Now you have food water shelter heat electricity water for free. Freedom. Your welcome
These are extremely useful rules for anyone looking to grow rich. Unfortunately, the majority of individuals that see this video will be unable to implement the ideas. We may not like to acknowledge it, but as Warren Buffett famously stated, investing is like any other profession: it takes a certain amount of knowledge. It's no surprise that some people are losing a lot of money during the bear market, while others are profiting by hundreds of thousands. I'm just not sure how they do it. I now have around $570k to invest in the market.
Dealing across multiple asset classes can reduce risk more effectively than putting all of your money into one. If you don't understand finances properly, see a financial consultant.
Agreed, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
'Grace Adams Cook' , is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Codie, great video!!! It's objective, entertaining without being flashy, sincere and reassuring. Thanks! I must admit i didnt tune in for a while, because i found the other videos a bit too "overselling", and i mean it well. This one is more honest, more "proper sincere personal finance" kind of thing. Happy new year and all the best with your book!
No drinking for me I’m clean for 10 years and I need to be around the right people to be more I like what you said about testing the ones closest to you. I never got the right response, I was treated like I was beneath
I believe, by nature, we kind of weed out people who are not vibrating on the same level as we are. This video is the first time I've heard someone actually make it a goal to select the people in their circle even before the circle is established. 👍🏾
Lost my attention respect and excited inspiration with Drink 🍸... not related. Could have added so many other Useful Valuable Wisdom, almost projects a crutch for future or past not clear minded authentic actions 🤔
Hi Cody, thanks for the amazing Girl Power. I really enjoy your motivational speachs. In a world where the attitudes of people are? good is bad and bad is good i love when you use the word discipline. Im glad you parents allow you to graduate, im a Canadian citizen had to go to work at 15 as soon as i arrived in Canada my mom said you need to go to work. I could not go to highschool im glad you had a chance to learn about investing i did not so i wasted my 20s 30s 40s working without investing. Im 52 now its not late. But knowledge is power. I will do all i can to still do well. Thanks bye
Thank you Codie! You have been an inspiration for me as a women and person of color. I love your no BS approach to business, it resonates with me. Your knowledge drops are always a game changer for me. I am looking forward to your book tour. Get to work! I am grateful that you exist.
Much love. Thanks for keeping the good stuff coming, Codie. In listening I realize I did not start 'together' with most of my peers... I started out a bit low, out on the streets and incarcerated briefly several times in my early teens, and so have spent much of my life affiliating with others who started 'low'. It is hard to level up on your own, but the incongruence between who I want to be and who I have become is too great to stay where I am. The good side of feeling isolated and alone a lot is that I have more freedom to create changes in my life.
But look how far you've come; some people have never been in your shoes; but yet still haven't develop your mindset; never give up and never give in; you got this!!!
Codie, I appreciate you so much! What a great one to kick off the new year with too! Something that resonated pretty loudly with me was to “stop relying on motivation and start relying on discipline.” I’ve been kicking a$$ and taking names lately, can’t wait to tell you all about it🤙🏼
Makes sense, binging you today, appreciate the value, especially the circle one, had my closest friends tell me to slow down, definitely need new circle, being fueled off of hearing how I just work all the time
Our own people constantly destroy our own path to prosperity. We demand higher tax on the rich. We target them blame them steal from them. Our own local business owner with a good heart is just destroyed these days with tax and selfish people whome cannot have any drive to help them. So now if a poor man does manage to create a business he's gonna be suffering from the weights he threw on top of his own community. Facing the tax and insufferable attitude of our own working people today. Meanwhile the real elite whome own the streets the business owners operate on are laughing at us destroy ourselves. It's become a free for all. We no longer have a mindset to build our community up. It's always attack after attack on anyone that has anything over bare minimum.
Wealth Formula: Work more than you have to, spend less than you earn, and invest it wisely (live below your means). I am a "retired" millionaire, my daughter (47) is a multimillionaire and my eldest granddaughter (32) recently joined the club and will retire before she is 40 years old. A little smart and a lot of work NEVER fails and it takes both. We have GEDs, and we are business savvy. Empty pockets are a choice. We are no one's victims, we are conservative capitalists.
"I've been working hard to save for financial freedom and pay off my high-interest mortgage, but the economy has taken a toll on my investments. Should I continue investing in these uncertain markets, or should I explore other options?
Just try to diversify your portfolio to other market sectors, that way your investment is balanced and you don’t get to make so much losses.
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. I hope God rewards you with long life, robust health, and continued success. You're not just creating content; you're making a positive difference in our lives. Thank you and keep shining!

My Sentiments Exactly!!!
I have a lot of admiration for the quality of your work Codie!! You are so inspiring!! Keep going!!
"Show me your friends and I will tell you your future."
I have no friends, not even one friend… so whats my future?😂🫶
@@jaquelinenasser1266😅 I hear ya on that! No friends, more focus🎉
What happenes if i dont have friends😅 ok maybe i have 3 but they are all different
She is talking to crab in a bucket here
Thank you for this video. What a way to close the year. I learnt some tips, I’ll apply to my trading portfolio. Stop earning with your time, start earning with your mind! Besides who trades the financial market?
She always delivers good content. I trade the financial market. Which aspect of the financial market are you referring to?

Thanks so much! 👍🏼
Thanks
Thank you!
Thank you for this amazing breakdown
I’ll be at your book tour! See you there! You rock!
this woman is so incredibly good at content creation after all these business its facsinating
woohoo!! You're writing a BOOK. YES!!
My three favorite channels: Codie Sanchez, Stock Brotha, & How Money Works. Make my week complete! 🔥 🔥 🔥
If you're a recovering alcoholic you may want to think twice about drinking.
Thanks for sharing. searched for her full name and her website popped up
Thanks a lot🙏 i really appreciate. Was amazing speaking with Martha
SCAM ALERT
I love what you are doing, and I am a huge fan of "if my desk/ car/ house/body/ mind... life aren't clean I can't be productive". But if you clean your desk in the morning for 5 minutes, and don't leave your desk messy at the end of the day.... the Sheldon Cooper in me is saying you can save that 5 minutes in the morning since your desk was already cleaned by the past you. Also, the contra to that situation is you can just slack a the end of the day and let future you worry about the problem in the morning, if you can function the rest of the day with that hanging over your head.
You’re wrong about the drinking part! Life will teach you why!
True, and also “you are what you eat”
Who knew that a tidy desk could be the gateway to financial success? Clearing clutter might just clear the path to prosperity! 🚀
Not drinking doesn't mean you're not having fun in life at all. Gawd.
Especially NOT EXpecially… 😂
Thank you Codie!! This is very inspiring and gives me some actionable steps. I do appreciate the content you provide!
Market behavior can be complex and unpredictable. Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach to whom you have used their services?
'Grace Adams Cook' , is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
I LOVE the Hemingway quote. As a fellow Austinite, I couldn't agree with that one more. I can't wait for your BOOK! Go Codie, GO!
Ahhhh yay!!!
I love you contents but the one thing that you have is a support team every body don’t have that.
I’m moving to Costa Rica 🇨🇷 for 6 weeks to start my own business and get paid in USD. Solopreneur-- finally time to give it a go.
Hey there what type of work you have going on over there?
I never drank hate the taste of alcohol and none of my friends drank either - I had fun talented friends.
Thanks bye
Stop watching TH-cam and start actually doing the videos
Thank you. :) @@frankieroberson3398
I hope 2024 brings new Love, Peace & Hope to you All...💖Keep Your Hearts Unshakable!💖
8:00 Discipline. (Commitment) 9:46 > Social accountability.
Codie, I appreciate you so much! What a great one to kick off the new year with too! Something that resonated pretty loudly with me was to “stop relying on motivation and start relying on discipline.” I’ve been kicking a$$ and taking names lately, can’t wait to tell you all about it🤙🏼
Watch who you hangout with. If you want to be slim and fit and disciplined. Stay away from fat lazy people.
The Bible says not to even look at alcohol. Why would want to drink something that makes you stupid?
This is a video that coincides with the book “Atomic Habits”. Small changes big results.
You are definetly a cat lady :) LOL
"specific focus powder" I see what you did there haha
I'm gonna go find some frogs from the garden!
May i ask what are the businesses? And to truly retire, did you sell those also?
