Swami at Limerick Port

Took my sailboat (with mast down) from Limerick sea lock past Limerick docks to Deel river near Askeaton recently. Lots of shallow mud banks so careful attention to electronic charts needed. Those big ships need to come up river on a rising tide... Nice video!

Thank you. Yes that stretch of water is very tight. Best done at high tide and even then keep between the markers. Hope you enjoyed your trip.
