- Ghostemane made an appearance on the podcast a while back along with J Grxxn and Lil Peep where he didn't say much. His fan base has blown up since then so I figured it was time to get him in the studio for a chat. He brought along Wavy Jones and @maxdotbam for moral support and we proceeded to have a great chat about his music and much more. Enjoy!

Adam, this is easily one of the best, if not THE BEST interview you've ever done! Please do another interview with Ghostemane! He's such an interesting person..not to mention his music and fanbase has grown SO MUCH since this interview! Ghoste also has a degree in astrophysics, extensive knowledge of Hermeticism, Pythagoreanism, Platonism/Neoplatonism, Mathematics, Thelema and alot of other things [favorite of mine is his absolute hatred of Anton LaVey and the Church of Satan...I was a LaVeyan Satanist for a SECOND so I know from experience why he feels that way]

I just love this guy, someone who is so talented they can take influence from different genres to create a new sound. That takes something special, do you know how lonely it was growing up being the only one who genuinely enjoyed being a metal head, but was surrounded by over commercialized pop music, no one wanted to listen to what I listened to. But thanks to guys like Ghoste, were able to get a taste of the raw beauty and emotion that hardcore and metal has to offer, but he makes it palatable to the masses. Keep fucking crushing it dude, also your Opium EP pretty much saved me when my gf dumped me lol. I’ve got Acrylic on LOOP in my head 27 hours a day. Love this guy and everything he does. Truly a masterclass musician

As someone who has been in metal bands since 15 what he saying is so true I find it so much easier to do music on my own then when I do it in my metal band it’s hard when some people don’t show up to practice and trying to get everyone on the same page and write when you do it yourself you have a clear vision and can do what you want without having to rely on someone else

at this point I consider it the price we pay for casual, non-scripted interviews with underground artists, but yes, ideal world he would be more mindful of this and maybe prepare some questions. but it is pretty well-cemented into the no jumper interview "culture" (if you will) for Adam to jump in with his random shit all the time. sometimes it's hilarious or interesting, sometimes it's annoying, but hey
I love how you talk about what other music these artists listen to. Especially with someone like Ghostemane considering he wears shirts from Full of hell, Carcass, Deicide and Posessed.
