Ghostemane is sketchy. I think he's a cool person, but I think he's traumatized and disturbed in a way you and I don't understand personally. Said trauma motivates him to be abusive in his private life (probably a top down thing as well *cough*).
And yes, I called an abuser a "cool person", no I am not excusing the behavior (I wish Ghostemane would be served justice). I don't wish to offend, so I must explain my philosophy:
I like human beings. I want to see reformative justice and healing rather than hurting. Ghostemane seems very friendly 95% of the time. And he's a pacifist. And he does express some level of intelligent value. Not to mention he's creative and a lot of people are made happy that he exists and makes music
Now, in a small percentage of circumstances, (given the wrong combination of different stimulus) Ghostemane becomes an alleged abusive person. And the reasons for that are never "they're just a bad person". That doesn't make the abuse itself and the hurt they cause their victims alright. Never at all. The victim must be compensated as best as possible (because money doesn't fix trauma and there could never be enough).
So this is why I brought up the character of Ghostemane. There's a good person there. The victim needs to be given all the treatment in the world first. However the abuser is often also someone worth helping in this situation. Ghostemane is almost a victim of himself, and it would be a shame not to help wonderful people like Ghostemane
He has "sexual trauma" written all over his music and character; obviously daddy issues; mental illness of some sort driving some of his creative thoughts. It's possible he's been controlled and abused at some point in his life (or currebtly) based off his actions in his alleged abuse, and by taking a peek at his kinks
I wonder about his father who was into the occult. Not because he was an occultist, but because he was the father who is mentioned in so much of Ghostemane's music, and that's where he got some of his interests from
