The wax crayon I am using in the video is a Pretty Placers wax crayon. It replaces your diamond painting pen. The crayon is a soft wax that allows you to pick up diamonds and place them on the canvas.

I prefer round diamonds to square diamonds for two reasons, mainly. One, the round diamonds seem more sparkly to me than square. And, two, the round diamonds, to me, are easier to place than the square ones.
I also do not save my diamonds after I am done with a kit. I just toss them. I have only had a few instances where I have run out of a color and had to order a bag or two. My favorite store to order diamonds if I run out is this store on Etsy:

Love love love the frame! When I can’t find a frame to fit I use some wood trim to make one, put it on a piece is poster board and seal the painting. I’m not buying any more huge paintings. I’ve given away so many huge paintings to family and friends they have no place to hang them either. Years ago my husband went on a business trip to Italy. He brought back a rolling pen made out of marble. It’s very heavy and I don’t have to press hard. It may seem like a weird present to some but when you have rheumatoid arthritis in your shoulders it makes things so much easier. I used to make scratch noodles, dumplings, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, bread and other stuff like that. I haven’t made anything since he passed away 9 years ago. Every time I use the rolling pin it brings back great memories. Using it on diamond paintings means it’s not going to waste. In case you’re wondering I never hit him with the rolling pin even tho I was tempted 🥰 I’ve been putting paintings on prepared canvases lately. Definitely seal the painting and hang the paintings. I’m working on a big wall in the living room. It will have all wild animals. After I finish the second wolf I’m going for Wolfpack’s #wolfalong I’m going to tackle the cub painting from DAC to use as the center piece of the wall. Most of the rest of the paintings are 40x50 or 50x60

Omg that frame is flippin PERFECT. I know its silver but the blues play off it from snow queen and it looks almost blue silver in some light... just GORGEOUS. You always choose the perfect frames yo accent the pieces! What an amazing job girl! And I love trouble on the easel. I think it's so cool looking
Btw... I'm currently kitting up the beast.. and I didnt realize the size.. it's a damn TAPESTRY! Lol.. kitting up alone is gonna take me the rest of the night lol. Hooe you're getting farther along than i am!
You can NEVER go wrong with a Manzano painting first off. 2nd; I have done 3 of her DAC Princess Panels and they are stunning! And it is so funny; i used that same exact frames for mine! My Daughter of Honour is in the deep red, and my Beast is in the deep blue with gold flecks! I was shocked when you sprayed that in the house! You would have gotten the 'Strap' from Bruce.

Oh, yes. I don't spray that in the house any longer!!! LOL. Luckily that time I didn't get it anywhere but on the back of the painting!!
Instead of scissors have you tried using the roller blade thing they use to cut fabric. That's what I use and it gets right next to the diamonds and I can usually cut it with one stroke as the blade is very sharp. For me it's easier than trying to use scissors. I put it on a self healing mat made for sewing and I've never had a problem. This looks great sugar. You did a fantastic job!

LOL I never thought to spray adhesive on foam core first and flip diamond painting over and just attach foam core to back! HAHAHAHA look so much easier! Will try the next time. Thanks!
I use a micro fiber cloth with alcohol on it to clean my diamond painting. It works great. I dampen the cloth, I don’t fill it till is dripping or it will loosen the glue.
