  • As a family-owned business, Candana Bathrooms has been creating luxurious bathrooms since 1981. Understanding the need for high-end finishes, Marc Reed CEO and managing director, further complements homes and bathrooms with high-end luxurious products from his Oliver Thom store. To establish a foundation of the store, Marc approached Kaety Thompson to co-found and manage. “Over the years of working in bathroom design, I noticed a real lack of high-end, well-produced bathroom accessories that were easily accessible in Australia,” says Kaety. “We would fit our really beautiful luxe bathrooms and then struggle to style them and give them the finishing touches they deserved. So, Oliver Thom was born to fill that gap in the market.”
Targeting a variety of customers ranging from architects to designers and end-users that had finished a renovation, the store caters to every luxurious bathroom need the buyer could want or need. However, the store additionally offers something for every customer, even those who walk in from the street. Offering peddle bins, soap dispensers, candles, diffusers, bathware accessories and so much more, Oliver Thom provides luxurious quality products that are aesthetically pleasing and also have a sustainable source of production. Moreover, each product stocked is chosen to complement the purchaser’s life, such as the resin bath caddy, designed by co-founder Kaety.
Believing that the bathroom is the most important part of the home, Oliver Thom has created a range of products that suit the stylish and design-minded bathroom and homeware enthusiast. Proud of what they supply to the market, Marc and Kaety trust that their products, including local and international collaborations, elevate bathrooms with a luxurious aesthetic. Just 100 metres down the road from Candana’s head office, Oliver Thom’s Woollahra store is bright and complemented by a neutral palette that allows the luxurious products to shine and for customers to walk in and feel at ease.

Brilliant! So good to see a very successful independent store...as in bricks and mortar! Enough of online!. Can imagine the experience of walking into the store. The fragrance, the design and indeed the products. Service with a smile too! Successful retail. Brilliant design and ethical ethos. What's not to love? Thank you again for sharing.
