I am creating a math quiz that has sections. A student can not move forward without getting the correct answer. This is fine if the answer is an integer. I can not figure out how to limit the response if the value is a fraction or if an equation (ex y=2x+7) or an ordered pair like (-1,0). Do you know how I create these types of validations? Or do you know where I can view how to make such validations in a quiz?

Unless you click the box for the quiz to close when the timer runs out (an option when setting up the quiz), then the quiz will still stay open and it will tell the student that they are "over time" and the timer will start counting up. That will be indicated when you view the student report.

Hi Rosanne, Yeah, I wouldn't suggest that you create the quiz directly in Google Classroom. It's just as easy to create it separately and then post the quiz in Google Classroom (and that way you have more control over the quiz since it wasn't created within Classroom).
