- This was smack dab in the middle of the Toronto Blessing!! So much Glory!!! Such an expression of the culture of heaven!! Feel the intense Joy and Peace coming from the atmosphere of heaven!!! Everyone is so joyful and child-like!!!!

I do not believe this is the gentle spirit of God
waldo henry, This is not the worst that this certain Pastor acted. In another one he was singing I SHOT THE SHERRIFF BUT I DID NOT SHOOT THE DEPUTY with his black hat and sunglasses on. A few feet away from the pulpit at one stage, Scotland says pointing to it I SUPPOSE YOU WANT ME TO READ FROM THAT OLD THING. He called the Bible an old thing and when he opened it he made the sound of a chicken and then shut it. I always knew from the very start The Toronto Blessing was not from God. The Kundalini spirit invaded the churches then and it should be bound and thrown out. Trouble is the lukewarm Christians love acting strangely rolling on the floor, jerking, etc. I watched a new video by the YT channel called TORCH OF CHRIST and the title of it is EXPOSING KUNDALINI SPIRITS AND THE NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION. Brother Phil goes all around the world and he is in Australia right now. If you don't know of his channel check out other videos. God bless you.

My wifes nana was at this. She passed before i met my wife, but they said you could feel the presence of God in her house, read the Bible all the time and preached Jesus and shared Jesus everywhere she went, completely changed her life.
Please allow me to add an important part from being at Toronto. JESUS helped me to come to a place of forgiveness towards my abusive dad. I couldn't do that without the supernaturalness of the HOLY SPIRIT working that in my ❤. JESUS made me an overcome. The HEAVENLY FATHER gave me the privilege 2 yrs before my dad died to share salvation with him & he repented & accepted JESUS as his SAVIOR. I think because of forgiving dad it opened the door wide open to have that privilege. Someday I'll see dad in heaven & share a totally different relationship than we had here on earth. Praise the LORD !

Bible doesn't say, be drunk in the spirit. It's says, be not drunk WITH WINE, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Acts chapter 2 clearly describe how UNBELIEVERS, those who do not belong to Messiah, perceive the disciples' behavior when they were FILLED with the Holy Spirit as being 'drunk with wine'. if the 120 disciples were behaving normal according to worldly standard, they would not be accused as such. so it is clear that only UNBELIEVERS react negatively and falsely accuse the strange behaviors of believers in Christ. because they are spiritually blind ans cannot process the reality of the Spirit's presence with their CARNAL minds.
also be mindful that what the Spirit is doing in the hearts of the people in the video is far less intriguing and not as weird as what the biblical prophets experienced. the Spirit of God told Hosea, who was a prophet, to marry a whore and to stay with her even though she kept on whoring. the Spirit of God told Isaiah to walk before the people of Israel with his ass uncovered and to cook his food using cow manure. if you were living in that time you would accuse these men of God as insane !

It says the men were MOCKING them and saying they were drunk (when in reality they knew the disciples were speaking the praises of God in their known languages). I used to defend this kind of behavior, too, but the Lord opened my eyes that this is not truly of Him.
She was abused by her father when she was 9. AS a result of that she became very controlling as a defence mechanism. With God's spirit on her she got healed up and started loving people she hated. Yes that is God. I've been there and also got healed up from a very painful divorce. JOhn Scotland came to my churhch he was mad but the power of God was strong, very strong. Why wouldn't anyone want to get healed up?

I was involved in one of these groups during this period of the Toronto Blessing and some of the crazy stuff I've seen is beyond words. It divided a lot of local fellowships at the time. Even one of the pastor's went off the rails.

I remember my Church falling for this stuff back in the early 90's and it was pretty sad. I immediately knew it was all nonsense, but we were so brow-beaten into silence so that if you dared say anything negative you were strongly rebuked. So I just had to sit back and watch in silence and sorrow as everyone went bananas. I shudder to think of the judgment of God against the leaders in this movement. It's easy to see now how ridiculous it all was, but at the time people just got duped into it.

I was their several times and I was truely blessed.Over the years,I have heard of lots of criticism about this move of God but the criticism comes from the mouths of people who where never their.

The Holy Ghost never behaves like this, and yes I was there in 2008, and enjoyed the meeting I attended, and was very well treated. I had no complaints about that visit. I was a part of a Church here in NB, Canada back in the 1990-93 range. I had a lot of my friends I hung out with there leave or move away for school or whatever reason. I skipped a week, then two, then I fell away a bit and stopped going altogether . I remember hearing about what was going on in Toronto, and some of the church leaders went to check it out and in fact brought this back with them. I had other friends that were still in the church telling me what was going on and I was a bit surprised. One friend would say " when are you coming back to the Barnyard....dude you gotta see this". And he would laugh .He told me exactly what was going on and the first thing I thought of is "is this of God?" I never did go check out the "Barnyard" but ran into other church members (small town) and some were not digging it. It ended up dividing the church as I am sure it did all over the world, and the more stories I heard of what was going on the happier I was I stopped going. Fast forward to 2022 and I stumble upon this video and others like it and what can I say besides that this is HORRIFYING. I am not sure if this Scotland is putting on an act or is possessed or a little of both. I think I heard the name "Jesus" once in the first hour of this "Sermon". Everytime this guy started to read from Luke He would be interrupted by his own rooster calls , laughter or singing a dumb song . It goes to show how easily we are deceived as a society AND as a church. I have watched some videos on "mass formation psychosis " in relation to what our planet is currently going through and this falls into this category. When people were flying to Toronto to see whats was going on I wonder if they prayed to ask the Lord for guidance or to help them see if this passes the sniff test . Looking back on that time it's hard to believe that any of the church leaders from the church I went to would think this is a good thing . The Pastor there was such a nice guy and was a fantastic Preacher . As far as "bringing it back" maybe they didn't have a choice. This is a spiritual war and whatever went on there was NOT Godly. In searching for more videos like this one I see Mr. Scotland was still into this act in 2007. Not sure what He is up to now I only came across this yesterday. I hope the people affected by this and who were caught up in this "movement" are far and clear from this blasphemy. "Lets not talk about Jesus today....church is boring .....lets have fun instead COCK-A-DOODLE-DO!!!!!!!!" Are your kidding me ? Hi, this is so well written . I appreciate Truth and rebuking what is ungodly. I once thought it was godly, but mercy of God opened my eyes. Now it's the living Word of God that is far more exciting. It wasn't like that until this demonic movement was removed from me.

I'm not sure how you can say that when the opening of the video is a testimony of what God had did in the woman. She is completely free from control and fear. Only God can do that. Also, the following song is about the presence of the Father creates a safe place for us to be children and free.
I also understand what you mean. There is a danger in this type of movement to idolize the experiences rather than God himself. Which happens, but just like in more conservative churches there can be an idolization of liturgy or the sermon rather than God himself. There are always dangers in life. Thats why we need to receive more of the Holy Spirit to discern what's the best path for us to seek Jesus out. Its about relationship. Its also very important to not cut the body off so quickly when the Lord could actually be moving through them. He is far bigger and compassionate than we could ever imagine or discover reading our Bible, but by experiencing Him. It will take all of eternity to understand.

But Biblical experts using the most ancient manuscripts have ascertained the time when the prophets, at time time of Saul being overcome by that same Spirit, were overcome by the Holy Spirit to be about 22 seconds.I was just wondering about the 23 second threshold. Thanks for publishing! I never made it to Toronto in the 90s, but the Lord came and found me since I couldn't get there! This is great ... I want Him to do this again and more!! His love is the best ... thank you for first love Lord!! And to those who think this is deception ... I tried for years to be a "good Christian" ... and when I had given up, He came and found me. Sorry if this is a bit late but the people on the video were in the grips of the Kundalini spirit. A good video I recommend is THE MOCKING SPIRIT INVADING THE CHURCH by the channel JEREMIAH COHEN. He brought it out just over 3 months ago to expose it. In one of the calmer moments of it a man is interviewed about how he once was in the movement until he was set free by the grace of God.

How any so-called Christian could EVER believe that a "drunken" mind state was a gift of the Holy Spirit is beyond belief. This should be a good lesson along the lines that the human mind can be induced to believe in any and everything even if it is sheer fantasy. I was in an AOG church in Indonesia (mid nineties) when we had people bringing over the "Fire" from Toronto. I didn't fall for it then and I don't fall for it now(pun unintended lol). The guest speaker,who was from the USA or Canada, was giving his testimony when he started acting and talking like he was drunk. He then "blessed' our pastor(who was interpreting) and both wobbled and fell to the floor simultaneously "drunk in the spirit". It happened a few feet away from me. It was the weirdest thing I ever saw.One of the things that disturbed me most was that there was hardly any sound biblical preaching or teaching anymore,the basis of every Christian believer's life.

I am a charismatic, I believe in the continuation of gifts and regularly experience the weighty presence of the Holy Spirit. But watching this makes me feel utterly disgusted and greatly disappointed at the Toronto leadership for not stepping in and stopping this and apologizing for this man's sinful drunkenness. I have to say that I do not blame my cessationist brothers for condemning this movement. I do still believe the outpouring was God ordained but the leaders are responsible for shepherding the movement with discernment. I pray this man has not been a stumbling block to people fighting alcoholism... again this is not typical of Spirit filled churches and I agree that this is an utter disgrace to the Holy Spirit.
