My husband and I are seniors- we have been saved since the 70’s. We have been blessed to go to these conferences a few times now, they are impacting and life changing, we’ve never been disappointed! Toronto Blessing is equipping the saints in regards to the commission that Jesus said, to Go make disciples! Many ministries have been launched and are doing great things for The Lord and His Kingdom all over the world because of the impact of the outpouring of The Holy Spirit to empower and bring the gospel to the nations. IRIS Ministries is only 1 example among so many others ! John n’ Carol are humble, they have loving, kind and very merciful hearts- just like Our Heavenly Father - not willing any should perish! I didnt know Randy Clark was there when Toronto started. I didnt even know much about Randy Clark at all, other then he laid his hands in me at an impartation service I got invited to back in the day and I got wrecked harder then I ever have in my life before or since. Holy Ghost shook me hard. Was a real wake up call to follow Jesus with everything I got. Wow that's interesting. I had no idea that man was there at the spark of Toronto. I dont follow his ministry at all other then that one time. Powerful.
Can you see the picture, the Rabbi's inside praying for the "Messiah" to come as they knew it was time... and Jesus comes riding into the Eastern Gate on a mule, with crowds worshipping and praising HIM, and the Rabbi's go and tell them to be quiet, were praying for Messiah to come, and Jesus says, "if these were silent the rocks would cry out". The problem revealed here is one we all tend to suffer from, … we think we know what GOD looks like, and when HE comes differently than what we expect, we make the mistake the same as some of those in His day, by rejecting His arrival... Of course we know that "it's not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit says the LORD", so the only way anyone can "discern" spirit, is by spirit.... like when the thing that was of GOD in Elizabeth recognized the thing that was of GOD in Mary, without any former knowledge or information, in St. Luke 1:31-45. We need to cultivate recognition of "that still small voice", so that we can accurately interpret events as they unfold.... and in the process of attending 100's of Catch the Fire meetings, I discovered how easily offences would reveal the condition of my own heart....
