Looks good, Ivan! And not too difficult.

Thanks my friend! 😁 I know, it's actually easy to make. Might sound a bit intimidating to some to make your own cheese curds (although perhaps not for you who stays on a farm 😉), but it's a very satisfying process. I love cutting into the milk when it has set. And it really makes you feel like you're making something from scratch. I ate it this time with strawberry jam, but one of my favorites is cherry jam. It tastes so luxurious! Would love to know what kind of desserts you make for Christmas, I've now started making some sweet treats. 🤩

Men are sweet tooth! I can only make one sweet dish because I am not so found of sweet. And I also bought a new culinary calender for 2025 which has at least 5 sweet recipes. So I will have to make a choice! I also prefer cherry confiture above strawberry. Maybe I will try eglantierjam, made of the fruits from the rose; rosehips confiture? A friend says that it is his favorite jam but I haven't tasted it, yet. He buys it in a turkish halal shop. To buy a jar of it is a step too far for me but maybe I can try 'can I get some of your rosehip jam in exchange for some goat meat?' Being creative in the kitchen! Greetings from France, Ivan, it is cold here. The maples in front of the house have dropped all of their leaves. Let's get cosy and prepare for Christmas!

A culinary calendar sounds like fun 😁 I haven’t tried rosehip jam, but there’s a Swedish drink that is made from rosehip (it’s called nyponsoppa which translates to rosehip soup) and it’s really nice. You can either drink it cold or heat it up and add some milk or whipped cream. I also like rosehip tea. So I can imagine that the jam is delicious. Would love to try it! Perhaps I can find it in the Middle Eastern shops around here. Cheers! 😁

I would love that nyponsoppa cold in the summer. Sounds great! I buy rose syrup at the turkish halal and mix it with cold bubble water in the summer. But that is not with real roses. Or I buy cherry syrup and mix it wild cold bubbly water in the summer. You know when we have those 35°C weeks! Maybe in a few years, Ivan, you will have your own IvanEats Culinary calenders! Who knows! Bye!

Yes, who knows! I would love to have my own calendar 😁
The cherry syrup with sparkling water sounds so refreshing, I have to try that. Perfect for hot days. For now, I'm trying to warm up with glögg 😂

Looks like corn bread not cheese cake
