You can tell why Shokei Matsui is their chief instructor, his technique is much cleaner than almost all of the black belts assisting him, and his hip use is on the spot, where most black belts almost don't use their hips at all

I think Shotokan is better. Many techniques shown here do not consider the Bunkai. For example, for the Soto-Uke, they pull the assisting hand from the side, where in Shotokan it is pulled from the front. From the front is more correct, as you pull the hand of the opponent and then break his elbow with the Soto-Uke.
I'm going to do all the techniques in this video for a month. That should prepare me for the 100-man Kumite, right? :-P
