hello po! super helpful po nitong calc review niyo for canon since naghahanap po ako ng calc na magagamit na din for board exam dahil nasira yung fx991ex ko. dahil dito makaka save ako ng pera knowing the features is almost the same with advanced calcs🥰

Yeah kasi meron siyang 4x4 matrix, Quartic Equation, Yung Constant and Conversion hindi mona kailangang i memorize yung nasa takip ng Calcu, may LCM, GCD, at may Modulo na

may nakita ung kakilala ng kapatid ko na ale, 30 pcs na CANON F-789SGA ang binili, balak ata ibenta ng mahal sa ibang hindi makapunta sa malls.

Possibly mas mabilis nga ang Casio. Pero the 991MS has a linear display, which I don't recommended for the board exam.

Na-lowbat din ba ikaw? Yes pwede siyang icharge gamit sunlight. Also you can buy new batteries na lang instead of replacing your calculator. They’re called CR2032 and they cost about P50 lang.

How to know kung authentic ba yung nabili kong Canon F789sga?

Most likely manufacturing defect yun ng battery. There are 2 solutions:
1. Buy a replacement battery (CR2032) mga nasa P50 lang naman sila. Hindi kailangan palitan ang calculator.
2. Solar-powered din naman ang F-789SGA so you can leave it in sunlight for a while para ma-recharge

Sir, are any of the Texas Instruments options good?
I haven’t been able to check or buy them because of the lockdown. Pero from what I’ve read, they cost more than the standard calculators, and mahirap sila hanapin. Also if sanay ka na sa Casio/Canon, you’re better off using those kasi mag-aadjust ka pa.
@@KippapEducation I see, the Canon F-789SGA despite being the best option, has a lot of problems like the slow solving time and weak battery. This is why I'm exploring other options.

may possibility padin ba na alisin ng PRC ang mga calcu na may shift solve before boards?
Ginawa nila yun noong Nov 2019 when they tried to remove the 570ES Plus pero in the end, pinayagan pa rin nila.

We can't say for sure eh. Pero noong Nov 2019 PRC changed the list of allowed calculators a few weeks before the exam so possible siya.

Yes pwede magbago kasi decision pa rin ng PRC yun. Pero I doubt na babaguhin pa nila kasi marami nang nakabili ng Canon so marami ring magagalit sa kanila

Yung akin po nakuha ko noong Oct. 5, tapos ngayon may "LOW BATTERY" na sa screen 😞

@@mlssxjy Ohhh. I just bought one on NBS last Nov 10, and after around 10 days of use, it showed LOW BATTERY already. I just bought 4 Energizer CR2032 batteries for future use, haaaah. I hope the calculator won't run into the same problem during the actual board exams.

I can't say for sure kasi i just borrowed my friend's. Canon PH says that hindi sila nagbebenta ng ganoong packaging sa Philippines. Pero baka yun ang packaging nila sa China.

Yes it’s okay. Pero i recommend the Casio fx-991EX if you want better performance.

Yes, it’s recommended for college students but not allowed in the board exam.

I have used mine for over a year and may battery pa naman siya. If malowbat man ang calculator, battery lang ang kailangan palitan. It costs around P50 lang.

It's the probable error sa pag shift solve ng calculator. If it returned L-R = 0, that means exact ang answer na binigay.

The Casio 991MS is allowed sa ce boards and may shift solve din.

@@reyscosmos yes, it’s not dependent on solar panels. The Canon F-789SGA is also powered by solar.

It depends. Both are great choices.
Choose the Casio fx-991EX if you want the fastest calculator with the most functions. However, you would have to buy an allowed calculator when you take the board exam.
Choose the Canon F-789SGA if you want to get used to the the calculator so that you will be ready when you take the board exam.
