I just love the way Jenny simply explains things! She can help take a simple project and make it look AWESOME with just a few smart adjustments like this sashing idea! Thanks for your insight!!
Thank you all three! You're all wonderful quilters and gorgeous girls! I'm a 68 year old German "girl" living in New Zealand and have just discovered quilting. I've become an addict in a flash and my retirement fun is guaranteed. Love to you all from down under 🥰😍🥰
Brilliant! Jenny, you are such a wonderful teacher. I love how you include little bits of "quilt wisdom" into your tutorials. I always learn something new that helps me in all my quilting projects. Thank you!
I love your techniques Jenny, never quilted in my life since November of 2015, I learned about sashing, binding, boarders etc, love it so much, needed a hobby for winter and being retired I can't quick, made 3, so much fun watching your work, thank you
I just wanted to say thank you. I am making memories for my children. I have six and they all love the quilts made with your help. My youngest is disabled and she uses many quilts for comfort. When I am gone they will have a piece of me through these quilts. Your family seems to be a United and loving family. God bless you all and fill your lives with love and laughter and family ( sashed with quilts?). Love from New Zealand
Thank you once AGAIN Jenny and family! I often watch your videos more than once-especially if I need to refresh my memory on certain things with quilts.. this one is perfect for my needs. Been watching for 4 years now, always amazed! Hope to meet you one day- hugs! Marietta (Brisbane)
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you, so very much for taking the time to make all these wonderful videos, Jenny. Your wonderful personality and your ability to explain how to make these quilts so well really attracts me back to see more and more. Always waiting to see any new ones you have. Thanks again. Your absolutely adorable.
I really love this idea, it can make an otherwise plain quilt square just pop with personality. Thanks Jenny for this video that you made 9 years ago, where have I been, I'm so glad that I happened upon it. ❤
Your tutorials are extremely user friendly and helpful to beginners. I bought two fat quarter sets of the Riley Blake Farm Fresh which I want to use for my first quilt, which us for my first biological grandson! Now, I also have a new grandson on my husband's side and enough fabric for two quilts. I could cut squares of the large and medium prints and sash them with the small print. I really wanted to use nine patches but couldn't figure out how. Thank you!
I love that sashing idea. that is really cool. I love all of your tudorials Jenny. keep them coming. you are such a great help and a great teacher. I love you and your family.
I am always looking for new and creative ways to add more personality to my quilts. Jenny's ideas and guidance certainly help me gain the confidence to challenge myself and try new things. Thank you!
I just started quilting last year. Your tutorials have been extremely helpful to explain things that patterns do not and to provide me with great ideas. I love your video instructions!!!! Jenny, Thank you for another great tutorial.... What a cool idea! We all hope you know how much we appreciate what you do for us.....and that we love you, and your family. One of these days I 'm going to get out there!
Please Please Please make more sashing ideas. I have so many blocks and the worse part to me is HOW to put them together. these two videos are soooooo awesome!
Hi Jenny, thank you for the great Sach video! If it wasn't for you, I would of spent a lot more time putting the pieces together. Lol! Thanks, ur the best teacher !
Hello Jenny! Lovely tutorial as usual. I loved hearing that your mother is from Sweden. We are many quilters here and would welcome you. Best Christmas greetings to you and your mother from Stockholm, Sweden.
Hi Jenny, I really enjoy your tutorials! You make me laugh, you are quite a character I am sure. Looking at the quilt that you have in the background using the little wonky tool. The center is white and the joining pieces are coloured. Have you tried making this quilt in reverse?
Oh Jenny, another Capitol idea. So happy for all your Tutorials. keep these great ideas coming. Just a thought---Could you state "Correct" side rather than using Left or Right side. It might be a little confusing for some people. Adore your whole Company. I am so addictive. Each Friday AM-- I can't wait to see your next Tut!!!!
Hi Jenny ! I was wondering if you could review the sewing machines you have, I'm getting one for Xmas I think I want a singer professional but I'm not sure, think you can help ?
Oh this is amazing! I have a wonderful Swedish mother as well. This v is a great tutorial! Can you tell me what the pattern name is for the Dala horse? And your fabric line name? Please and thank you! 💙💛
Thank you for this binding tutorial. I am looking for sashing and binding ideas, do you have a place where you talk about a variety of options? How do you decide the width and colors?
Loki Daisy That is not a dumb question at all! We have several tutorials on applique techniques that you can find here: th-cam.com/users/MissouriQuiltCosearch?query=applique Let us know if you have questions!!
My border strips ended up being too short and I dont have enough material to re-cut them. I do have several extra strips though and I need to piece them together. How do I re-build the two side-borders by attaching material on the bias?
Jenny, I love, love your videos. Can you tell me what size blocks you used on this and border? What are the dimensions, looks perfectly sized for a baby quilt. Thanks!
oh boy, okay thats me down below, I watched the video again... I see why you did it the way you did you actually made a strip and then connected the rows... I straight up just made a whole block. I wonder if I can get away with making my blocks then sew them into rows, what do you think?
Im utterly amazed by the iron, you leave it plate down on the board yet it does a little rise when you take your hand off, what is that i have never in all my life seen a iron do that....
I just love these older videos, the good old days😊😊😊😊❤
I just love the way Jenny simply explains things! She can help take a simple project and make it look AWESOME with just a few smart adjustments like this sashing idea! Thanks for your insight!!
