Great review! Very informative (same as your callaway set review)! Would you be able to tell the difference between the v1 and v2 without opening the box?
thanks very much! As per v1 and v2, just by looking without testing, the notable differences are that v2 looks more premium, and v2 has a bigger bounce then the v1.
@MarukuRage oh its pretty easy to tell. You can simply look up the design difference between v1 and v2. They are pretty distinguishable. And you can tell from the box pictures.
Just got these myself after using the gen 1 version for over a year now, absolutely outstanding wedges for the price! Vokey defo still number 1 on my opinion but these are a very, very close second. I used them thd other day and the spin especially with thd 60° was unreal! Great review but please get some premium balls for your future testing, it might just be the mic but it sounded like you were hitting bricks! Lol
Hey thanks very much for commenting!! That's awesome, congrats on your new purchase. I've been using them for a little while now and I still really like them. Yeah it's most likely the mic. I also do use crappy balls practicing in my backyard. It definitely sounds better in person with better balls for sure.
So looking at you bag... the sand wedge is 54 degree loft. If you use the Kirkland 56 Degree - only 2 degree difference. If you ever need more space, I would drop the Sand wedge and keep the 56.
Hey that's a great suggestion. Currently I'm going to keep them both in the bag as I only have 13 clubs. Although they are similar in degrees, I still like using both. I find the callaway S works better in the rough as it is got more bounce, and the Kirkland is better on the fairway with its sharper lip. For now I'm liking having those two options around the green!
@@LuRanOutdoors I started out with this exact set I bought at the end of 23. I've since upgraded my driver and putter. Currently rocking Volky SM9 w/ graphite shaft of 50 & 60. I also have a SM10 # @ 54 degrees.
@EnviroSus that is awesome!!! Rightnow I think the biggest gap for me is between the 5H and 3W. I can't really hit the 3W off the fairway yet, so my longest shot after the t shot rightnow is just the 5H. Therefore, I kind of want to get a 4H or 3H... any thoughts on that?
@@LuRanOutdoors Yeah ... having problems hitting 3 wood off the ground as well. So ... the 3 and 5 hybrid are both hard for me to hit. It just takes hitting buckets until you can hit each stoke the same. Right now I hit a Great shot like 1 out of 10, but that's enough to keep me playing ! 😁
Ah man that's too bad. Yeah these wedges are such a good deal, just got to buy them as soon as they come out again. You can contemplate on keeping them or not later, costco will 100 percent let you return them if not even opened.

Consider a 48 degree to bridge the gap between your 52 deg and the PW as your game improves!
Yeah i would love to have a 48, I can see myself using that all the time!!

@@LuRanOutdoors your thumbnail is fine, dude is trying to advertise his business which I believe is against TOS
@majorvolt haha thanks man! Yeah I'm not a big enough channel to hire others for help anyways. Maybe one day. Haha
