I have a question, since I am facing a dilemma: I will release my debut album soon, and I am wondering if it would make more sense to release the whole album first and then singles afterwards - because if I start releasing singles first, people will only find very little (if any) content on my Spotify page, since it's my debut album. If I do it the other way around, they will find 10 other songs and be more inclined to follow me - or what do you think?
I wouldn't recommend releasing singles after the album - it's very hard to get somebody excited about smaller parts of the project if the whole thing has been released already.

Better opportunities for press and further exposure? Why invest more heavily in the album release after promoting the individual singles? Thanks.
I work with a lot of established artists who tour - they generally still stick to the more traditional album model and as you mentioned yourself, it makes more sense to tour behind an album. I have also advised smaller artists to focus their marketing energy on an album in cases where their resources are limited. Often it makes more sense to pool their resources together and get the most bang for their buck promoting 9-12 songs on an album all at once rather than 1-3 on a single.
