curious how Trema wants to destroy Spira's past, but he himself is desperately clinging on it - he dresses like an old Yevon monk and at one point in the fight he recites a few words of the Hymn of the Fayth (right before Meteor strikes). not to mention he's an unsent, meaning he still bears strong deep feelings about something.
When I see Trema waddling super fast between the three girls and slapping them, I think of him muttering stuff like,"You goddamn kids!" And ,"Why I oughta...!!"
I remember I actually beat paragon and trema with just the Mascot dressphere. Rotating attacks between Moogle Beam and Gatling Gun and having Rikku as support for healing and reviving. Took forever but I did it!
I just beat him on my first try, although I used a very cheap method lol. I used Yuna at level 99 with Peerless GG as Mascot with Champion Belt and Crystal Gloves, and Almighty Shinra at level 94 with Peerless GG/Mascot and 2 Regal Crowns, and taught him Spellspring with a Ragnarok. It was actually somewhat of a close call because within the last 2 minutes he KO'd Yuna with Meteor and it left Almighty Shinra in critical HP (only had around 24000 to begin with), but I got lucky and he finished Trema off with one more Clione.
In FFx, we recognize that lord Zaon was killed by lady Yunalesca in order to become her final Aeon. I wonder if Paragon fiend is Final Aeon form of lord Zaon.
@0ddMonk3y Zaon became the final Aeon and merged with Yu Yevon to become the new Sin. Not really a matter of "someone must've killed Zaon, but didn't send him". Of course he wasn't sent. Yunalesca was killed, as are all summoners who summon the final aeon, and Yu Yevon isn't about to send his new "armor", since that's the whole point of the final aeon.

This game is fun till the heavy difficulty spike comes and you have to fight the ultima weapon thing while the area is infested with monsters with a lot of HP. Normal battles take like 5-8 minutes and they happen often before you reach your destination.
Are you talking about Via Infinito? You can always escape those encounters. If you're talking about the Farplane, besides Aza or whatever none of those fiends are very strong, and Charm Bangle is accessable at that point in the game. And that fiend is not required to defeat. Also, if you acquire Mascot, Catnip, or at least two champion belts, the end game is relatively easy

Hi Tang sir can i ask how did paine get the HP break lmt. In her auto-abilities i did not see wearing an enterprise ring or its in already on her mascot abilities?
It's on her Garment Grid named "The End". It has the Auto-Ability: HP Break limt How to: Obtain in the Shinra's Bestiary menu after encountering all Oversoul Subjects in Oversoul.
Can someone explain to me that gameshark looking guard thing that keeps coming up? Is it only in the remaster and if so is it a mascot feat? (This game in a nutshell: mascots dancing means death for enemies)
Dana Conor is chac the one that can pierce ribbon and petrify you. If it doesn’t oversoul your best bet is to try to solo it with someone since it stops petrifying people after two shatters. I suggest using adamantite and the equipment with auto haste on said person so they have the bulk and speed necessary. And ideally use paine in mascot ( since she has samurai skills in her mascot so she gets the self heals and buffs there)
