I'm at my 40th MN killing, stored 50+ Iron Dukes, 70+ Invincibles/Enterprises, I congrats!'ed Ultima Weapon for Defense Bracers and 3 Chocobo Kings for Speed Bracers, hoarding for my NG+ so I won't have to level the Impale Team up again. Thank you thank you thank you! ♥ Fun fact: I named the team "Team Punteruoli" (Awl team, because the ability "Impale" in Italian is translated as "Killer awl"
Super late but black sky is a better choice over meteor cause u can continue attking with machina during the ability. The damage made during black sky outweighs meteor but a ton since impale ignores damage and meteor does not. With black sky it keeps them for attk u all while giving u more time to get ur hits in
The point of having a meteor/black sky unit is for enemies immune to physical that the impale units do nothing to anyway. The impales are irrelevant to the caster unit and they kill enemies not immune to physical without the free hits easy enough
I have the same thing equipped as yours and why are my stats different than yours? I've your set up and everything went down like Agility, Evasion, Magic Def., Accuracy and Luck. What am I doing wrong?
You can increase your monster stats by consuming items and accessories. In the regular menu, go to Creature , select a monster and then items or accessories. Iron Dukes give monsters +10 on all stats when consumed. Keep in mind that a consumed accessory is lost forever, so if you have less that 3 Iron Dukes, it is better to equip them than consuming them.
Nice guide man, not to nit pick but I noticed a slight mistake though. Under Killer Machines you stated 1 Megelixer for full life , that is Full cure, it takes 3x Megapheanix for Full life.
battlesnake (it's Gatling gun racks up insane damage on numerus), Alchemist yuna for hero's drink on all 3 of my guys, and the machina leader for impale using a setup similar to this one. Numerus dies in 15 minutes. Without this channel I would've went crazy on how much I already lost against numerus

Nevermore Soulkeeper Teach them the ability "Strength Up" (check the description), it will increase your monster attack if used during battle. Also, if you have Luck on 255, your monsters will deal critical damage most of the time (double damage).

+erdeljan Machina Hunter is found in Bikanel CH2, use a S-Pod or a SP-Pod (type machina), if you missed that one on CH2 you can use a S-Pod (not SP) on Luca several times until you get lucky. Machina Leader and Soldier are found in Thunder Plains CH5 but only after the New Dungeon Mission is Completed, use a S-Pod or SP-Pod for them. As long as your monster have available slots, the monsters will learn new commands. What I did was to teach them support commands to fill the slots. You can check in the description what commands are fillers on each monster.
I've always just used Almighty Shinra solo farm on Major with a low lvl mech to insta die with ray of hope GG equipped for 20 Iron Dukes....99 iron dukes in around 4-5 mins without having to drop below 5 stars the whole fight lol
Have you ever tried this without using hero stash, or without any of those very handy garment grids (last resort&peerless) I always use the duo of Chocobo&Almighty Shinra, without any of above, i can beat Major Numerus just under 5 mins and Trema just over 5 mins. I can't recall of the garment grid name, that i use (i use only one) the one with gives you ribbon. Both the Chocobo and Almighty Shinra are at level 99, my Chocobo haves something like, i can't remember exactly, but around 60 000 Hp and Shinra has around 75 000, all other stats obviously maxed out (the smart way) Not sure do you know this, but for some reason when you use Magic Booster with Fireworks you get insane damage boost for the Fireworks, even thou its a physical attack, i don't know is it a glitch or something, but ive tested it so many times. You probably know the best healing ability? Anyways, both have Fireworks and they do minimum of 45-47 000 damage to any enemy, for some they do 65 000 - 90 000+ damage Numerus 45 000-75 000,77 000 range, depends of the head, if back attacked, then 90 000+ damage, depends of the head , sometimes the AI chooses the meteor attack (which i need to defeat those who a are immune to other attacks than meteor) which isn't that good attack for multiple targets,. One cannot forget the complete cheat, OP attack Almight Shinra's Clione :) Which....defeats most of the enemies with one try.,even few of the hardest ones with 2 tries, best damage total ive gotten with Clione is in range of 250 000-350 000 (one enemy) but again, not that great for multiple enemies, even thou not with the same sense as meteor, due to its OP level. I do have to use Auto-life though, for that fucking cheat attack by Trema&Almighty Shinra, it can be tricky to get auto-life for you character. sometimes that prolongs my fights against Trema by 3-4 minutes. Against major numerus it could be done so much quicker if the AI would only use Clione, because its an active attack at the same time my chocbo starts attacking with its physical attacks, which also does crazy damage, 20-70 000+ damage more with back attack, depends of the head and Chocobo with 255 agility+auto haste ability, its moves are so fucking quick, the fastest sprite of all of the monsters, as you know. Never used machina's, they seem to be fast as well, but they take a step back everytime, where as chocobo just keeps pounding....sucks though that you can't have 3 chocobo's. - rapid fire -
Major numorus is fairly so long as u have the agility to keep up with him. Max out ur mdef, def and hp at 9999 u can do it it probably any one. Auto life and white wind is great for an early kill. As well as having vigor and at least one spellspring user. As long as u get at least one head before dying u can get an easy invincible or enterprise then u use those to improve hp and damage. This impale is probably the fastest way to get there as u can lvl chocobo from the start of the game and the machina have pretty good pdef as they lvl so really ur doing less time grinding Minerva plates and adamantites( or crystal gloves if u cant quite pass the fiend cup). If u wait till ng plus logos with high agility can take care of shina if u have auto haste for him. Just stick him with vigor life full life and another ability he cant or wont use often. Most use esuna. White wind works if u take no damage but the goal is to at least unlock shina in the simulator then use logos to stunlock him to death. Free spellsprings. Or u can use lucil(yaibal is available im chapter 2 with elma if u dont wanna wait. He is good to. High def in his later lvls)elma and chocobo. Hell tbh honest lucil elma yaibal and chocobo team can also do it but would take a little longer till u get bdl for one of humans. I use black sky for chocobo they way the others can attk during it. U really dont even need bhl for numorus. Just have auto life as back up in case his mortis command hits to hard or venom command comes out two quick. Use lighting eater for his heavy lighting to heal and radis command only attks one person. Then there is fireworks and sparkler. Those two suck if they hit but high luck and protect should help provided u got 9999 hp. Bottom line there is definitely multiple ways to play. Im curently working on a unique team build of tidus seymor and auron. Tidus using all sword play abilties he can use as well as his spiral cut and blitz ace. Takes up all ability slots. Auron using his busido skill and his dragon fang overdrive and seymor as black mage and white mage combined. Once i get black magic lvl 2 he will be very distructive. Already has turbo black amd white magic and white mage lvl2. Magic booster, spellspring, life preserver, bdl and bhl. Will change life preserver for ribbon and hp limit for black magice lvl 2. May actually make a vid on it if it does well
Why not use the 3 impaler machina's? Chocobo just makes the fight unnecessary long. I must admit chocobo is a premium unit to getting you to the lategame but it fals off pretty quick.
@@UnholyBahamut True but I circumvent this issue by teaching 1 mech Black Sky. It allows for the mech to hit physical immunes and it helps in damaging others because during the animation of black sky your other mechs can keep impaling the enemies. Really OP.
It took you 2 minutes and 1 second to beat Major Numerus, i just did my personal best; 1m 54s. My trio was: Leader, Hunter, Ranger. (by using machina actually works way better what i was using :) ) All 3 have identical abilities / Garment Grids / Dresspeheres GG: Mercurial Strike (Quick Attack) DS: Mascot (Ribbon) - the only DS that does not add abilities to main command Main Command: Attack,Quick Attack, Vigor, Focus, Impale Auto-Abilities: Ailment Def., Break Dmg. Limit, Break HP Limit, Auto-Haste, Ribbon
after my monster use impale, an ATB bar like 4 or 5 time of yours, can use tell me which stats reduce ATB bar lenght or which ability that i have to teach my monsters for that, please
Increase the Agility stat, all my team has 255 Agility so the ATB is very very short. I also have Auto-Haste ability which reduces the ATB to half. There is a guide at the end of the description in case you want to check how I created this team.

How do you get ATB bar shorter? I have auto-haste on, tried iron duke / key to success, doesn't help more shorter like your video.
Auto-haste only reduces the animation time. To reduce the ATB bar you need to increase the speed stat of your monster.

There are some monsters that are inmune to physical attacks, if only one appears in the cup then Chocobo can beat it.
