I love Jerome's driving style. Maybe not max distance crush, but so smooth and clean. Love the whiner cam....but that means you're going to have to put yourself on it sometimes.
Dellwood is one of my local courses, Sean is awesome and the local community is what makes this area great for disc golf. It's had so much work put into it over the years, since 2015, and it's only gotten better and more accessible for all skill levels.
OMG the river is so low! The last time I played the Canyons Simon's putt at 8:03 would have been standing in about 6-8in (15-20cm) of water. I'm a little sad you didn't play the alternates, there are some really fun holes that you skipped and they also smooth out some of the long walks between holes.
So thankful that even those at the "Professional" level still love to play the game for fun. If it ever stops being fun (doubtful), I will stop playing. Congrats on the Win last week Simon. Great competition..

If you get bored, take a drive up to Rochester, MN and check out Driftless 18 and IRG Woodside Park (IBM)... IRG woodside says it's for employees only, but that is not true. It's open to the public and a great course for ace runs. You won't be disappointed.

I got to play The Canyons three years ago. It was a 24 or 27 hole layout I think, and my friends and I fell in love with it. Just a beautiful place and some fantastic shots. I recognize a few holes but I know they've done a lot of work in recent years. Been working in Indiana and I'm hoping to find some time to make it back soon!
Never played there but had to check UDisc leaderboards after seeing your -14.. tied for the course record after playing it blind lol. Really shows just how big the skill gap is
I got to play that course once, It was really nice. Any of the shots they are doing from rocks and dry creeks where all water holes for me when I was there. It was after they got a whole bunch of rain, the water was just rushing through the area. It was really beautiful and great sound to hear that water rushing near all those shots. @Simon you should go check out Fire Mountain Disc Golf Sanctuary in Cherokee, It was one of the most beautiful courses I have seen yet, it is fairly new, so might not be on the Pros radar yet, but It should be on the pro tour I think. I enjoyed it a lot more then the Cliffs.

@@HaikesXO agreed. Like when he mentioned how there were open park style holes, those two holes are combined and it makes 2 super easy par 3s into a difficult par 4. And hole 6 they parked easily whereas hole 6A is one of the signature holes on the course, and one of the hardest!

@@michaelblair7141 the XXL is a really tough layout so a round of the whites will be a good more casual round, especially so you don't have to go super hard both rounds
Courses here in the Twin Cities are busy pretty much year round. There are plenty of great course that aren't as busy if you're willing to drive 30/45 minutes. But for the most part people have good etiquette and will let smaller groups or solos play through. There's a pretty sweet course in Rochester Minnesota called Driftless 18. That's about an hour and a half south of where I'm at. This course looks pretty gnarly. Great video!
I saw that you stopped here from Dellwood's IG stories! That's so cool you decided to check it out! Hopefully you were also able to check out some of the craft breweries in the Chicagoland.

That's so sick you were out in my area! I lived 20 minutes from there. Hope you liked it, it's Got some cool scenery and well up kept. But it's so busy I usually wouldn't play there because of that fact.

I Love playing the canyons. It's an hour away from me. Definitely one of the best courses around. Added bonus of the course, the shop! Could definitely go broke in there 🤣😁

Was just here on Monday on my way back to Ohio. Had a weekend disc golf trip to Minnesotta (Got the Preserve and Blue Ribbon Pines in). Was a great weekend.
So hope Simon does a vlog on that outing. Would be so cool to see , after Dylan pitching a great game , the Sox getting the win , these three guys in the clubhouse with Dylan after the game talking disc golf , and all the other Sox players looking at them thinking what the heck?? Then have Jerome try to explain it to them.
Awesome to see you, Casey, and Jerome throw many of the same shots I have thrown at Dellwood the many times having played there. Was hoping you would have encountered JJ, the groundhog which has become the course mascot and last year caused Juliana Korver to have to wait because it was in her line. Tournaments there start on #13 since it is next to the pro shop and the course flows better from there as opposed to #1 which was numbered before the pro shop was built. For tournaments there, most of the creek plays OB even if it is dry.

Its a very busy course. I also grew up there long before the course was made. Its not a course to play alone to try and get a quick round in.
