She has one of the purest voices I've ever heard. It's so rare and so beautiful. I love the original, and the cover from Disturbed, but this is haunting and truly amazing.

Here's a bit of a fun bit of history, did you know that in mid-1964 when "The Sound Of Silence" was released, it was a complete commercial flop? The album sold very few copies and the single got very little radio airplay. Simon and Garfunkel broke up and went back to their ordinary lives. Then in late 1965, DJs in Boston and Florida (after one used it on one of his shows as intro music) began to play it and it gained some traction and in 1966 the song was a huge hit, the duo reunited and released a second album, and that's how a legendary duo came to be. Possibly the most literal example of music being "ahead of its time" for when it was released.

This is a work of perfection. Every interpretation of a composition is an opportunity to create a work that speaks a different message across time. This is powerful, compelling, and demands attention. For reasons that I don't understand, whenever I hear music/lyrics/poetry, I am flooded with images and textured colors the leave me as spent as though I just read Tolkien's works. This version was pure and I still see some of the matching imagery. For instance, I saw great battles on a planet as well as in space. I could easily imagine this work as an epic theme of sci-fi or dystopian future that matched the arrival of Europeans from the "end of everything" perspective of the first people. It works beautifully from any perspective. Thank you. I am deeply touched in all of the best ways possible.

The lyrics Paul wrote are just so amazing and prescient ! We heard this all the time down thru the years, but it was Draiman's Disturbed version that really drove the point of the song home to so many of us.

That was mystifying. Susanne your voice is flawless. WOW, stupendous, brilliant, mesmerizing. The piano arrangement was spot on. Replacing the guitar with piano was so original and it really worked well. Thomas the production was extraordinary. Love the green screen work. You are the MAN. The drums really brought Susanne voice to the forefront. You guys are really pushing the envelope with you productions. Simon and Garfunkel was my favorite band throughout the '60's and '70's and I am very quick to criticize artists who do bad covers of their music. You did not disappoint. I must say, I'm Impressed. That was extraordinary. You should cover more Simon and Garfunkel songs.

That was mystifying. Susanne your voice is flawless. WOW, stupendous, brilliant, mesmerizing. The piano arrangement was spot on. Replacing the guitar with piano was so original and it really worked well. Thomas the production was extraordinary. Love the green screen work. You are the MAN. The drums really brought Susanne voice to the forefront. You guys are really pushing the envelope with you productions. Simon and Garfunkel was my favorite band throughout the '60's and '70's and I am very quick to criticize artists who do bad covers of their music. You did not disappoint. I must say, I'm Impressed. That was extraordinary. You should cover more Simon and Garfunkel songs.
