Its to be more "Inclusive" So they add every genre of music but it sounds like shit just like how when you mix every soda at a soda machine and it tastes like shit
If you only like rock music then unbounds soundtrack is awful. There are still a lot of bad and forgettable songs, but if you're open to music then there are some decent bangers I find myself jamming out to. Also, heat and unbound are the only recent nfs games that have little to no rock music.
@@rodracer4567 thats the problem, it went too leaned on to specific genre which at first was fine but then became irritating hot take: latin pop is not a right genre for racing, its party music and should stay as is
I almost don't listen to rock at all anymore but some times it's not just about whether or not the music is good, it's about how well it works for a racing game. a lot of what older NFS games have are perfect for the style of gameplay they offer but almost all of (emphasis on almost) what's in unbound and heat just simply doesn't belong in a racing game

I don't know about others, but I don't like modern music that sounds like farts and that the beats are the same for almost all modern "musicians". No, there is an exception, in the person of The Vepri, but this is a small thing, from a huge amount of "music". Your opinion may differ from mine - this is normal, but for racing you need exciting and invigorating music, the same rock or electro in various variations.
have you even played these games? they do have rap and hip hop but mostly in customization menus hot pursuit 2010 and most wanted 2012 had pop and electronic music and no one complained (because they are high energy tracks that fit with street racing) hype boys by sway would have been perfect in carbon but the censoring butchered it
My opinion of the best songs NFS U: Invisible - Hotwire NFS U2: Celebration Song - Unwritten Law NFS MW 2005: Nine Thou (Grant Mohrman Superstars Remix) - Styles of Beyond NFS Carbon: Around The Horn - The Bronx NFS Prostreet: Pogo - Digitalism NFS Hot Pursuit 2010: Edge Of The Earth - Thirty Seconds To Mars NFS The Run: Save Me - Rival Sons NFS Most Wanted 2012: Bonkers - Dizzee Rascal And that's where the good soundtracks ended
I've just listened to the soundtrack and it has a few track that are decent. I know that it has songs like this: Grebz - Несправедливо. But there are other ones you can say it's ok imo like it's not top notch but it's ok. Bizzarap - Villano Antillano. (love this one) Tokischa x ROSALÍA - Linda. (it good cuz it's rosalia XD) UMEK - Criptic Speech. (loved it) Anna Lunoe - Ice cream. (loved it) Buku - Front to Back. Amir Obe - WISH YOU WELL. Poutyface - HEY NEIGHBOR! Shirin David (ft. Kitty Kat) - Be a Hoe, Break a Hoe. Shygirl - SLIME. (it's ok) A$AP Rocky - Babushka Boi. OLIVER OLSON - TLOKI (ft. Gibbs). The soundtrack is not the best, but I feel it is quite hated (specially by people who played Most Wanted, Underground, you know) with the HEEEE UE UANT SOM MONEEEE over and over.
It just happens to not pass the right feels for a racing game. You can almost hear an engine when listening to Disturbed - Decadence and feel the aggression of a car going 200MPH, but I'm completely unable to see myself hitting such speed and having Tokischa x ROSALÍA - Linda. Don't get me wrong, love me some rosalía, but not when I have heat from a Raptor and 4 McLaren going on a freeway. It's just not the same vibe...

Always interested me that there was an option in NFS Carbon that only played electronic music when you drove Japanese cars, rock and metal when you drove American cars, and rap when you drove European cars
Based on class not where it was from.
Ford gt. American car. Classed as exotic.
Vauxhall Monaro. British car. Classes as muscle. Etc
Also the exotic music was mostly a subgenre called grime. Which was predominantly from the UK
out of all of the modern ones, Heat i remember had a decent soundtrack.
but the whole 2000s era was just too consistent, almost every song hit different. its no wonder why we're stuck in nostalgia
Alright, I laughed quietly out loud when you showed Most Wasted.
_Of course_ it is Decadence.
hahaha
I mean I do love that song, but I do agree the memes make too much use of it, despite MW having many, many other incredible songs.
agreed. Just once i want SOMEONE to play *_Mastodon_* in these vids.
Let’s not forget about 90s era NFS which had not only awesome original music courtesy of Saki Kaskas and Rom Di Prisco but even had a few licensed songs by Junkie XL, The Experiment, and Lunatic Calm.
Hell, Undercover which was considered by many to be the weakest entry had one of series’ best soundtracks as a redeeming quality. I’d play Undercover over Unbound just for the music.
Feel the Rush (Junkie XL Remix) during a checkpoint race would have been a better clip for carbon
or sounding streets in a regular race
The most wanted song (disturbed-decadence) just hits different with the voices on the radio playing in the background
NFS hot pursuit 2010 and most wanted 2012 also had great soundtracks, definitely worth checking out. I never see these two games in these videos
Because they're not the most beloved NFS out there.
You know i never got when people said stuff like "Yea so they make you feel speed by adding a shit load of effects and camera shake to it, bad game"
Like that's literally what made it feel great. I don't know why it's a bad thing now to make people feel like they are going fast in a literal racing game.
Nfs hot pursuit 2 soundtracks are underrated and its really nostalgic to me
Thanks for putting the song ordinary in the video :)
NFS Hot Pursuit 2 is the best nfs ever, it's ost is pure gold too.
You have my respect for picking Born Too Slow from UG1
Most wanted 2012 has nice songs!
Agreed
I had no idea they remade the game. Or is just a remaster?
@@hisaceinthehole3426 It's a new game. But with the same name.
@@ericc2326 oh, so its a sequel? How is it?
@@hisaceinthehole3426 no. It's a different game. With the idea of become the number one in the list.
EA: WE WANT SOME MOOOONEEYYY!!!
Every gamers: please bro. We want a real decent games with decent music. The real ELECTRONIC ART
First, we want a great game. Then, you get some money.
Unbound except 90% of it's soundtrack was a decent game in my opinion
Last good NFS soundtrack was Payback.
I can agree, I didn't believe it but found like a 10 of tracks I added to my plylist.
Nahh 2015 has the last good soundtrack.
Even the hip-hop back then (nfsu2 in particular) were bangers. Snoop Dogg, Terror Squad, Skindred, QOTSA, Killradio on the same playlist.
Then there's UG1 with controversial artists lol
2:50 "fuckbois" lol
You forgot Pendulum Granite from NFS Undercover
0:50 I listened to this song directly on Gran Turismo 4
Undercover. Shift. Hot pursuit 2010. The run. Most wanted 2012. Rivals. 2015. And payback also has the best soundtrack
Fax
@@yusufffff What are you talking about?
@@Turk8249 he said that you are right
@@giuseppenasca2091 Oh.
Payback to me was average tho.
you could also add undercover and hot pursuit 2010. The music and atmosphere are there too, top class.
I like how he picked the worst song in nfsu2 and it was still better
Dude NFS 1 to Porsche Unleashed had some badass Metal and Trance soundtracks that fit the races very well I won so many races listening to Celtus 808 in NFS 3.
Funny how people shit on Unbound music but doesn't even know that MS-DOS NFS music was better than the Black Box era
@@Aether776 I agree
Why in every compilation featured most wanted they always have decadence? Is not the only good song, there's styles of beyond, there's celldweller, there's Evol intel, there's prodigy etc.
Because posing shitheads don't really know anything different than a theme from boss which was in like first 20-30% of game.
Nfs pro street is probably my favourite soundtrack in a nfs games there are so many songs I love in it. I never listen to it and play driving games though because I'm way too tense. The music is like a memory of great times but also huge stress from those speed events.
When muscle memory kicks in for a shortcut from 20 years ago, just by watching this…
well idk about you but some song of payback and 2015 are pretty good give them a chance 205 AND PAYBACK FORGET HEAT AND UNBOUND
The thing I Love about the NFS payback is that it fits very well. Mac is British and in Drift events plays UK drill and it fits perfect to his style
Payback is the last NFS with a great soundtrack
litsening Decadence, is the song that i meet Disturbed and is a cool band that i may be a fan
I would've loved to hear Joker and the Thief from Wolfmother when Carbon came up but this is also acceptable.
I love that it's essentially every Black Box NFS game (except Undercover and The Run because... yeah. But even then I would argue that they had some bangers on their soundtracks)
Nfs the run soundtrack it gave you adrenaline in its purest form, you have to have a lot of concentration for the adrenaline not to end up disturbing you, that is to say very good 10/10
undercover is awesome
"WE WANT SOME MOOOONEY"
oh my god so relatable
Nfs 2015 has amazing soundtrack too.
maybe the only modern nfs with good soundtrack
NFS 2015 used some songs from old NFS so it's the last good one. It started to get bad after NFS Payback
And that plus the graphics are the only good things about it
HP2010, MW2012 & Even Payback has a descent amount of great tracks too for the modern era.
payback was the last modern NFS to have a good soundtrack, everything went downhill since heat
MW 2012's also amazing.
God Damn Can ALL OF YOU PEOPLE STOP UPLOADING VIDEOS OF HOW BAD UNBOUNDS SOUNDTRACK IS ALREADY! We all get the message
Nah phonk is good and all but, it can never beat "The Prodigy - You'll be under my wheels". That will forever be my favourite racing music, that and Eurobeats too.
The chad opinion is enjoying the soundtrack because it fits the era and tone of the game, even if you don't like the songs.
Nah there are a few that are too cringe sorry even if they are from this gen its still bad and does not even fit nfs like why would they add that shtty song to a cool nfs game?
Let's not forget NFS High Stakes. A lot of bangers on that one too.
NFS isn't just rock though. Unbound soundtrack sucks but all I see in these comparisons is rock.
The Crystal Method and Gary Numan is Electronic music for a minute.
Exactly, his taste is just rock music 🤦
They do the same on every video. Metal or rock aren't the only great tracks of those games
@@aryanhellcat nah yall just hating on modern games for to fúcking much geez stop it or just play that mw2005 game yall kids.....
Who was unbound's soundtrack trying o appeal to anyways?
Its to be more
"Inclusive"
So they add every genre of music but it sounds like shit just like how when you mix every soda at a soda machine and it tastes like shit
1:10 Omg this banger hits so hard 🤘
OH MY GOD IT'S SO NOSTALGIC!
@@donfunado2241 I meant that old soundtracks are nostalgic
Really puts into perspective how far people's taste in music has fallen
I feel like nfs manchilds have no musical eq for new music, they just live in their own nostalgia
Even Payback and Heat have a great soundtrack imo (it is crucial not to forget NFS Hot Pursuit OST as well)
If you only like rock music then unbounds soundtrack is awful. There are still a lot of bad and forgettable songs, but if you're open to music then there are some decent bangers I find myself jamming out to. Also, heat and unbound are the only recent nfs games that have little to no rock music.
And with Heat, everyone kept saying it's soundtrack was completely garbage meanwhile my Dominican side was jamming to Gente de Zona.
@@rodracer4567 thats the problem, it went too leaned on to specific genre which at first was fine but then became irritating
hot take: latin pop is not a right genre for racing, its party music and should stay as is
I almost don't listen to rock at all anymore but some times it's not just about whether or not the music is good, it's about how well it works for a racing game. a lot of what older NFS games have are perfect for the style of gameplay they offer but almost all of (emphasis on almost) what's in unbound and heat just simply doesn't belong in a racing game
@@civicrider5556 you don't know nothing
@@bruhmoment802 what? did i really say something wrong
Thank you for featuring Born Too Slow!
But For NFSUG2 You Shouldve chosen Give it all or black betty. Still a great job m8 keep the good work!
Why do you all paste only Disturbed? What about BFMV - Hand of Blood? I swear it's the best song from NFS.
I've yet to find one video which mentions at least one of the first five games :(
Pro Street really makes you pumped up for racing with its soundtrack. 💪
Ngl Heat also has a decent soundtrack, it fit the theme of the game.
I don't like the UG2 highlight, there's much better songs to choose than that one
At least it didn’t added that screeching ass crap of Scavenger by Killradio which is very awful as the Money song by Rico nasty from Unbound…
Everybody knows decadence is the best soundtrack and is perfect for the racing game vibe
That one and almost easy
My game soundtrack is one of bests of nfs franchise someone admit it plz
Ok Ok ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
BTW I think that nfs world soundtrack is even better than nfs carbon soundtrack its not something like I like nfs carbon soundtrack most of NFS games because my nick is Darius lol (my opinion)
Yes nfs world soundtrack is better than nfs carbon (ofc in my opinion)
Shame licensed tracks play only in free roam.
Thank you NFSMW for introducing Disturbed to mee, love them since 2006 ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°
Don't understand why everyone hates Unbound Soundtrack, you guys are such a closed minded people's, Everyone conpare Metal or Rock or whatever is it to Pop and Rap music like wtf? 💀
why EA only want money and bring kids from fortnite
I don't know about others, but I don't like modern music that sounds like farts and that the beats are the same for almost all modern "musicians". No, there is an exception, in the person of The Vepri, but this is a small thing, from a huge amount of "music". Your opinion may differ from mine - this is normal, but for racing you need exciting and invigorating music, the same rock or electro in various variations.
have you even played these games?
they do have rap and hip hop but mostly in customization menus
hot pursuit 2010 and most wanted 2012 had pop and electronic music and no one complained
(because they are high energy tracks that fit with street racing)
hype boys by sway would have been perfect in carbon but the censoring butchered it
Omfg finally i found a non mw2005 kid that complains about everything just shut up and accept u live in a fcking modern world with modern games bruh
They just love rock music but they don't want realize it's actually dead nowadays
My opinion of the best songs
NFS U: Invisible - Hotwire
NFS U2: Celebration Song - Unwritten Law
NFS MW 2005: Nine Thou (Grant Mohrman Superstars Remix) - Styles of Beyond
NFS Carbon: Around The Horn - The Bronx
NFS Prostreet: Pogo - Digitalism
NFS Hot Pursuit 2010: Edge Of The Earth - Thirty Seconds To Mars
NFS The Run: Save Me - Rival Sons
NFS Most Wanted 2012: Bonkers - Dizzee Rascal
And that's where the good soundtracks ended
And what about Rivals? Don't disrespect Rivals like that.
@@ralphlorenzperolino3054 I never played Rivals, I will play it sometime in the future though
rivals had good soundtrack as well. especially in free roam for me
@@whotao03 I haven't played it yet so I wouldn't know
@@clutch44444 Then buy the game. What's taking you so long?
I've just listened to the soundtrack and it has a few track that are decent. I know that it has songs like this: Grebz - Несправедливо. But there are other ones you can say it's ok imo like it's not top notch but it's ok.
Bizzarap - Villano Antillano. (love this one)
Tokischa x ROSALÍA - Linda. (it good cuz it's rosalia XD)
UMEK - Criptic Speech. (loved it)
Anna Lunoe - Ice cream. (loved it)
Buku - Front to Back.
Amir Obe - WISH YOU WELL.
Poutyface - HEY NEIGHBOR!
Shirin David (ft. Kitty Kat) - Be a Hoe, Break a Hoe.
Shygirl - SLIME. (it's ok)
A$AP Rocky - Babushka Boi.
Finally a comment that doesnt only look at bad songs of unbound all the hating kids is so cringe.... Justs stop complaining about everything right?
The only good thing track I know for Unbound is Front to Back.
Finally! a true gigachad that played at least a Pre-UG NFS game and not another Tyler1 complex UG Boy that thinks it's a "chad" by just playing Riceground & Most Wanted...
Bro, you made me happy
@@Sound_Lena Because I was became tired of these so-called "Gigachads" that were nothing but a bunch of whiny Tyler1's syndrome virgins that just played only underground or Most Wanted '05; instead of some *OTHER* NFS; Such as Hot Pursuit, High Stakes or any other games that can spin-out these overrated titles anydays (specially if we talking about the vanilla unmodded one).
@@Sound_Lena hot pursuit 2 is one of the best in the franchise hands down
@@Sound_Lena Despiste Unbound it doesn't have rock songs, but, if you have the techno genre as a secondary or alternative music taste, I found the few songs from Unbound that actually bangs a lot:
- UMEK - Cryptic Speech (It literally reminds me a LOT to Hard EBM by Sin from NFSU2)
- Space 92 - The Door
- Moksi - Shout Like (feat. LexBlaze) (it literally has some serious Ekstrak's vibes like it was a song made for NFSC)
- Buku - Front To Back ( I know this song might have appeared in The Crew 2; but; that one it literally feels like it should have been in NFS 2015)
- Poutyface - HEY NEIGHBOR! (the only "electro rock" song from this game and it has a similar vibe to Action Radius song from NFSU1)
- Anna Lunoe - Ice Cream (feat. Nakamura Minami) (I gotta to admit, depiste the big bash around this song; I don't see that is bad as Money; and it reminds me a lot to "Japanese Boy" song from GTA Vice City)
- Pépe - Life Signs (Roll Mix)
