Math: Dragoon does 20damage per shot explosive. Lurker egg has 200hp 10armor medium on high ground. High ground = 50% missed shots Explosive vs medium = 75% So 75% of 20danage is 15damage. Minus 10armor is 5damage per shot. 200hp divided by 5damage is 40shots. 40shots multiplied by 2 to compensate for half the shots missing is 80shots. So each lurker egg soaked up 80 dragoon shots. 2 lurker eggs were morphing so 160 dragoon shots denied.
@@abstractdaddy1384 Second mistake: The dragoons were +2 attack, so they were doing 24 base damage a shot so 10.5 damage per shot, so total 80 shots denied
As other commenters mentioned -- armor calculated before any damage type penalties, and the goons were +2 attack. So yes, 10.5 damage per shot. Also, the chance to hit on high ground is around 53% (its complicated), so its more like 47% missed shots. Also, this is obviously just theorycrafting math and not what actually happened.
What a great translation on these interviews. Getting to read Light saying that he was going to "beat Mini ass" and thank his girlfriend was just the icing on the cake after watching him crush through his opponents.
1:12:20 Wraiths easily beat arbiters one-on-one. Calculations below. Wraiths have 120 HP and 0 armor and deal 20 explosive dmg to air units with a cooldown of 22. Arbiters have 200 HP, 150 shield, and 1 armor, and deal 10 explosive damage to air units with a cooldown of 45. Both units are large, so there is no size reduction. Protoss shields regenerate 7/256 per frame (assuming no assistance from a shield battery). So if a wraith is attacking an arbiter without interruption, it will hit 8 times in 172 frames, dealing 20 dmg with each of the first 7 shots and 19 with the last due to armor reduction, for a total of 159 dmg. In that time, the arbiter will have regenerated 4.703125 shields. So overall, it will have lost all its shields and 4.296875 HP. It will take another 242 frames to shoot 11 more times, dealing a total of 209 dmg. In that time, the arbiter will regenerate 6.6171875 more shields, meaning the final shot will reduce its shields to 0 and its HP to -6.6796875, killing it. Thus it will take an unupgraded wraith 414 frames (or 17.388 seconds at fastest speed) to kill an unupgraded arbiter if it attacks without interruption. On the other hand, the wraith will take a full 10 damage from every arbiter shot, meaning it will die in exactly 12 shots (assuming no repairs). So it will take an unupgraded arbiter 540 frames (or 22.680 seconds at fastest speed) to kill an unupgraded wraith if it attacks without interruption. If both attack each other, the arbiter will die after just 9 shots, leaving the wraith with 30 HP. EDIT: Arbiters and wraiths both have 5 range, so both should be able to start attacking simultaneously if they are facing the right way. An arbiter with Stasis Field could regenerate around 50 shields in its duration, and with full energy, it could cast it twice. That could require another 5 full wraith shots, taking another 110 frames. With proper micro and timing, it might even require one extra shot, for 132 frames. So it might just be possible for an arbiter to beat a wraith straight-up by casting two stasis fields, but also maybe not--it would be really close. If it were allowed to run away during the stasis, it could take the wraith a long time to catch up each time, allowing for extra regen, and the arbiter would definitely win. On the other hand, if the wraith can cloak, it can just kill the arbiter without even taking damage, since cloaked wraiths don't drain energy while in stasis.
@@Fer-ho8oj You have to learn the art of searching the wiki and patiently going through all the byzantine conversions. (The only real math was multiplication and division.)
Ah crap I made a mistake. The first shot will come out quickly, but I calculated it as if the first shot would take a full cooldown to fire. Both times could be reduced by some amount, perhaps 18 frames for the wraith and 43 frames for the arbiter. So heads-up, the arbiter probably gets 10 shots off, not 9, leaving the wraith with just 20 HP, not 30. And the arbiter should certainly win with two stasis fields. Not much else changes.
to be honest its insane they would think that arbs would beat an anti air unit 1v1. I think one mutalisk would also beat an arb 1v1. Taking half damage from their attack etc.

They forgot about "Cape Egg" (some Protoss who killed Eggs with Dark Templar on Inner Coven a few seasons ago) in their rundown of the legendary Egg Clan. Artosis did once claim that he got admitted as "Tank Egg."

Okay, I guess there's gonna be some epic games.
3:09:09 Queen wasn't really expecting to bust him at this point, this is just the move you do when either your bust didn't work or you're going for the 9734, which is to just move in briefly to keep the Protoss honest
Snow breaks my heart every season man.
55:45 you can see Light vs Snow game was bugged, thats why there was questionable decisions on both sides, we werent seeing their actual decisions.

@@baseballderek1 Yea, I saw the "glitch". What happened? I don't get this.
@@oscarwahlstrom5426 it's an observer glitch. Where for some reason the observer desyncs from the actual game. This leads to alot of the players actions not actually being registered in the observers pov. They likely noticed something was offand switched the feed to the other observer.
@@baseballderek1 Ok, thanks. At least it should have been fine after the observer switch then?
