just got this recommended again out of the blue. I remember my lacrosse coach showing the whole team this my first practice in 8th grade. I miss the feeling of being so excited about this sport that this video gave me that day.

The first 60 seconds of this video were incredible. Like the best video I've seen you make. Then, in my opinion, it showed a few too many garbage goals, goalies getting jumped and picking the ball up, and then the bridge where it slowed down and you went to locker room footage slowed the pace too much for me. Would have loved more slow-motion footage in there to match the slower music. Less practice/warmup stuff. But great video. Great stuff.
If there is one sport I don't understand, it's lacrosse. Looks very interesting though

I'm not very familiar with lacrosse, could someone tell me how you're supposed to take the ball from the opponent in this game?
The game looks very interesting, though!
From a non athletic standpoint (not to say you aren't athletic) you hit their stick with yours to dislodge the ball or as someone stated above, you "take the body", or push them away from the net (a scoring opportunity) to discourage the offensive player from shooting the ball

I've never played Lacrosse before, but I want to play for my High school team. Are there any chances I would make it. I have played outside with my friends and I can pass and catch well from what I know. So if anyone can tell me that'd be cool! :D

What a worthless sport!!! Run around while carrying a ball that no one can take from you and literally run up to the goal and throw it in. NO SKILL REQUIRED!!!!! Defense is practically nonexistent making this the easiest game on the planet. Your only argument will be it takes skill to hold the stick and catch and throw the ball...still no skill required.

In case you hadn't noticed it is a highlight reel so it only shows goals usually the defense would beat the shit out of you go watch a game instead of a highlight reel that's like watching a football highlight reel and saying this game is retarded you just have to run to the end of the field nobody is even trying to stop you
Defence is non-existent? The fuck? I play defence and we have long pole to hit offensive players! My favorite check is the poke check as you hear the little 'ugh' as you pole him in the ribs. Its quite easy to take the ball from them really. Just throw the right checks and be threatening and you should have the ball in no time. Obviously you have never played lacrosse before. Go watch some defensive highlights.

What, may I ask, is a sport that has a point? Lacrosse and Cricket are not pointless, as they have a goal to accomplish to win the game. Just because you can't comprehend the complexity of a sport doesn't mean you have to bash on it.
