  • Here I unbox, set up, and Test out 2 different Auxbeam RGB multifunction Customizable switch panels. One of the panels is a bit smaller but has Bluetooth that connects to an app on your phone. The other panel is larger but does not have Bluetooth. I Set these Auxbeam switch panels up on a bench and connect a bunch of different accessories so we can test out the switch panels. I run through all the switch panel features and show how they work. I will be installing these switch panels in my van and 4runner in different videos. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed this video.

    Knowing you could cycle through colors and change the type of buttons without the bluetooth app is huge for me. Changing the amount of pulse didn't seem to be covered anywhere else. Thanks for the review.

      for sure, one of those things they don't tell you about until you actually try it out for yourself. yeah I didn't expect to be able to do that, just kind of ran into it

    Excellent video, thanks! I was particularly interested in the power consumption. 0.04 to 0.01 is great!

    This is hands down the most thoughtful & informative video on this panel. If you wanted the panel to be consistent on (so you could have area lighting for camping with the car off) I assume you just connect the ACC remote turn-on to a constant instead?

      thanks, glad to hear the video was useful. you could wire it up the way you want but personally I would wire it up with a on-off-on rocker switch, 1st on goes to a switched power source on your car so it only comes on when the key is on or in acc then turns off with the key, off to turn it off completely then the other on goes to a constant source so you can power it on anytime even without key. but just wiring to a switch power source like a cig lighter depending on how the car is wired. or radio switched power should make it work when key is on acc or on.

    Hi, excellent video I just followed all your steps. I’m running the power fuse to my rain sensor fuse to use when switch is on. For some reason panel lights up and everything but when pressing buttons to turn on my accesories, they won’t turn on (any of them, got 4 connected atm). Any suggestion please? 🙏🏼

      hmm I would have to inspect in person to tell you the problem for sure, are you sure everything is hooked up correctly your talking about the remote turn on plugged into the rain sensor and not the main power right? the mains would need to be connected directly to the battery. I would connect everything to the battery directly with the remote turn on directly to the battery positive to figure out if it's a problem with the unit or your wiring. make sure everything is connected correctly

      @@4WheelKid the problem was the circuit breaker. It just came defective and I’m getting replace it. I have it connected directly to the battery while new breaker is coming. Thanks for your time! Excellent vids

    Can you use the momentary mode to switch modes in an amber light?

    • @4WheelKid
      @4WheelKid  ปีที่แล้ว

      it's possible if a regular momentary switch could do that task

    This looks like just what i need for my antique truck project. Ive got to get a switch panel for train/air horn, aux lights, radio, radio amp for subs, and im also thinking about interior lighting too. Hopefully it will be able to handle all of that.

    • @4WheelKid
      @4WheelKid  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      should work great for all that, 60 amps is a lot. only downside, is you have to wire back in through the firewall for the inside stuff

    • @lilmancc35
      @lilmancc35 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@4WheelKid yeah true. Still, its better than having to butcher my wiring harness, which i have to redo any way from previous excursions and rodents. Hopefully this will be 20 times better than me making my own switch board.

    Another site had a review mentioning once the device is disconnected from the power, all your settings are lost. Is there no memory?

      oh strange, I would have hoped they used flash memory, ill have to test that out soon, about to install one soon

    • @4WheelKid
      @4WheelKid  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes they will when the controller shuts off. as long as you have the remote turn on on a switched power source
