This is a great concept, so many useful techniques at each video, and all for a great cause. Thanks!

That was a really effective technique on the concrete. It’s awesome seeing two of the most talented structure build modelers I follow working together. This is going to be an incredible build! Thanks for letting all of us follow along.

A very big thank you, Doug, for the tip on creating those concrete form lines. I had just stopped for a coffee break prior to painting a couple of sea walls that I have been making following the techniques shown in your sea wall video, and decided to watch this video.
I immediately applied the technique to create the form lines on the sea walls and they look fantastic.
Again, thanks for passing on that technique.

Awesome tutorial and techniques. I'll have to try that on my next concrete building build. Thanks for sharing!

We used this idea on Hollywood sets but we would use a straight edge and then make the build up on the edge of it we often used a board then make the build up on the edge of the board first then press it against the wall and pull it straight out and it leave a perfect line and is much easier than what you are doing and gives you more control. Keep up the good work you are really good at it. I am not trying to tear down what you are doing just trying to help. I have 11 years as a Hollywood set painter and did stuff like this everyday.

It’s kind of a love/hate relationship between you guys and me. I love watching you both and learning from you. But I then have to redo my stuff or trash it. I guess I should wait and learn more from your techniques before I continue to build. It’s why I procrastinate!
    Thanks for your great videos.

After starting so small, this is growing into a sizeable building. Interesting to see the contrast of the different building materials - stone next? 👍👌😁
The concrete effects didn't look too effective until the weathering started going on - what a difference that made. The variation in shade and the horizontal seams really started to stand out and make a huge difference to the overall appearance. Nice work !!

That's always what seems to make a model interesting, lots of different materials. Thanks for watching.

Amazing concrete tips/techniques, learned a lot from this video. Also, although was done awhile ago I really enjoy jumping back and forth between your two channels to follow this build!
