    Can't wait to purchase mine even on a cop salary lol! Hands down the most responsive company I've ever dealt with. I was really hoping to hold out for the 8.6 but hell I could use another 6.5 and just do a barrel swap

      Such an awesome rifle, and I definitely can’t wait for 8.6. Hopefully we will see it this year, pending the crazy ammo situation. Thanks for watching 👊🏼

    Absolutely amazing video 🤙. I just saw one today in a local gun shop , 6.5 creedmoor. Looked like it had a 16 inch barrel on it but it was so sexy ! Thinking about trading in my savage 6.5 for it .

    Kev gets shit on a lot lol, but he, Nick and the rest of the Q squad went way above and beyond for me. Super cool dudes and the fix is my go-to for anything bolt related. Dope ass rifle.

    The FIX by Q is expensive but accurate. But it is much less than the "Lite Saber" by Skunkwerks. It is a fantastic rifle but it does cost $$$.

    You were bridging the optic on the top of the receiver and handguard. In order to get perfect accuracy, you need to mount both of the rings or all of the cantilever mount on just the receiver. The handguard will always have a minor amount of movement, especially when it's being rested on something, such as using the bipod on a bench. That little bit of play is what ruins accuracy, so never bridge the mount otherwise you'll get bad results.

    Great video! Are you running the Rex mg7 .30 cal on it? How do you like it? Do you feel it is hearing safe?

    • @AbelCompanyArms
      @AbelCompanyArms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, I appreciate that. Its the Rex MG7 K 264(6.5 Creedmoor) It’s hearing safe, but barely. As to be expected from a K can. If I was going hunting, or only taking a couple shots, I wouldn’t wear ear pro. I love Rex silencers, can’t beat the price for the quality you get.

  • @iansander1997

    Great video. How did you attach the big butt pad to the original brownish accent original butt pad?
    The sliding original pad doesn't seem to want to slide out of that assembly so I was considering tapping that plastic adjustment peg out. Lmk if that sounds right.

    • @AbelCompanyArms
      @AbelCompanyArms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So here’s what you do….slide the butt pad up, while your doing it keep pushing the button in. Eventually you will feel the button push in further than any other adjustment point. This allows you to expose the part of the button that has a tab. Push on the tab with a small screwdriver and the button will come apart, allowing you to take it out.

    • @AbelCompanyArms
      @AbelCompanyArms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a video on the liveqordie Facebook group that shows you how to do it. If you’re a member of the group, go to the group page and search for Big Butt Pad. The 5th post down is from a guy named Will MC. Click that comment and you’ll see the video.

  • @MrKingArthurhk
    @MrKingArthurhk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I just have one simple question. With the Q 30 cal can on there is it hearing safe, or does it still require ear pro? I was thinking it would make an much lighter hunting rifle and even with the nicest ear pro, hours of wearing one is a PITA.

    • @jakobgranat7441
      @jakobgranat7441 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i can for sure tell you it will not be hearing safe with any of Q's 30 cal cans on there

    Which podcast had the info about the short rail?

    • @AbelCompanyArms
      @AbelCompanyArms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t remember, I can try and see if I can find it though. They didn’t say in the podcast that it would change accuracy. They said they wonder if it would change accuracy when using bipods. Then they commented that they would have to test it out.

    I've got one the first ones that came out to the public. Serial number < 20 and back in the day (2017)when they would do a matching serial number on the Trash Panda and Rifle. In that time, I've shot whitetail, Mule Deer, and Antelope. I plan to take it with me elk hunting this year and hope to harvest one. It is my favorite hunting rifle and plan to use it for the next 20 years at least. I've heard the comments about KB being a dick and I can personally tell you from the interactions I've had with him directly, it's the opposite. Mine had the bolt stuck issue and it was shipped, fixed, and sent back to me in 10 days. Not 10 business days, 10 days. This past year I switched it from the 16" 308 Bartlein barrel to a 16" 6.5 Creed Proof barrel. I regularly make 1k hits when I go to practice long range. If that isn't a testament to an excellent utility rifle, I don't know what is. At some point I will buy another one so my son can have one when he gets older and maybe a minifix :)

    I hear they are less accurate than most sub 5-600$ stuff lol. So worth it? Well I suppose that’s subjective now isn’t it.

    check out Pew science aka someone Q bashed using nothing but complete and honest scientific data showing how their suppressors do not check out with the guarantees they give. Kevin the owner is cocky and thinks his "old school" suppressor designs that he says is his own companies designs are better than most when they truly are not with all the data being shown. including the fact that they must be bad at welding as ive seen many faulty suppressors made by them.
