I had my exam on July 20, and pass with 95 questions!! I graduated on June 17 and then had a 2 weeks family vacation, where I did some studies, but not so intense. so I would say I had intensely studied for about two and a half weeks. I used U-world and some of the Mark Klimek lectures. Also, read some of the chapters about strategies from Sanders's book.
The NextGen nclex just started 😞 and I just failed the exam on my second attempt 🥹🥹🥹💔, i cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling right now ❤️🩹💔💔, I'm confident that I will be a good nurse too. I just need to get past this too and move on. 💔💔
@@EvelynStewart701Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and he heart are still fixed on your goal.

Hello! Thank you! I spent anywhere from 1-4 hours per day. Usually averaging around 2 or 3! For my lecture days it was closer to four. I tried to schedule my studying around events and other things I had planned, so I would still do a little bit each day. (For example: Memorial Day I did 20 questions in the morning because I knew I had plans with my family the rest of the afternoon!) I can't send all the Mark K notes because they are not mine. The ones I did take are minimal lol 😂

UWorld recommends 190+ hours of review. Give yourself time. I only did about 70% of the total UWorld practice questions but I was scoring well throughout. I studied for 3.5 weeks and stopped at 85. (Graduated 5/24/24 and passed nclex on 6/27/24)
Ahhhh, it’s coming up! You’re so close to being done! I just read them mostly, but I’d write topics down from it or make notes on specific details if I felt like I needed more review!

Been doing UWorld questions every day since about June 26th. Found out about Mark K this past week so I got up to Lecture 5 today. Plan on doing 6-12 this upcoming week and next week while continuing to do UWorld questions when I can. I took my first UWorld readiness exam today and only got a 67% which is a “Borderline” chance of passing. Feeling a little discouraged bc I feel like I’ve been working really hard for about a month. Any advice on what I should do going forward? Should I up the # of questions I do daily? Also did u do anything special after readiness exam 1 besides reading the rationales for all 100 questions? I was thinking of copy and pasting all the rationales from every question onto one document and studying it in hopes of improving my score on readiness exam 2 because I saw someone on TH-cam do that. Sorry for the lengthy message, hope u get to it. Any advice is good advice, my test is on August 12th!!! Thanks in advance.
Hey there!! I know the feeling with being discouraged, but that’s actually a really good score! You really just want above a 56%. I’d say it depends on how many questions you want to do a day. Since you still have some time you could just keep your current pace, and with more practice you’ll get better! My scores improved by nearly 20% from start to finish. I didn’t copy and paste rationales because it was too time consuming, but I’d that helps you study you could try it and see. You’ve got this!! Let me know how it goes!

How many multiple choice, sata and case studies did you have when you stopped in 85?
I believe I had 3-4 case studies, 8 SATA, and the rest were multiple choice!

Does the regular uworld cat exam and practice questions that are SATA give partial credit like the nclex?
So the Uworld exams are not CAT, they are just a standard randomized set of 100 questions! But yes, all practice questions give partial credit!
