Sideway8 If they aren't keen on a losers series, it could maybe be losers paired with betters. But honestly I'd love the losers series too, they're all great :D
I can think of four genius moments: - Noel camouflaging as a banana - Mel and Hugh making a trailer for Swedish Tugtmaster - Mel putting a camel through "the smallest gap" - Noel marrying a duck
I like how the Clip ends. It's as if the interviewer is so offended when Alex says that he doesn't want Cumberbatch on his show, that he just cut the interview there and then 😂
@@michaelsteele4267 Rachel would be one of my top picks for upcoming series, but they already did Joe, Jon and Catherine and those are the main cats does countdown who I'd want.
Cats Does Countdown Does Taskmaster. Jon, Jimmy, Joe + Rachel, Susie + Alex, Greg. What would come after that? Cats Does Countdown Does Taskmaster Does...?
I hope they do 25 seasons .... after 5 seasons they done champion of champions from series 1-5 then again from season 6-10 so on then after 25 seasons the champion of champion of champions! When does season 8 start???
I'm making my own episode of task master for some fun with my friends (suspiciously named "TaskBoss"), and i have to say that my decision process for choosing which friends to pick for the small project was the complete same. The best contestants are the real people that attempt the challenge as it is presented to them without acting up for the camera. My Project is going well so far, and i really think that's mostly down to picking the right people to take part in the challenges. So i completely understand Alex's reasoning when it comes to not wanting Benedict Cumberbatch on the show and having directed my own episode of taskmaster i can see that it is just one of many controversial decisions that unfortunately have to be made to retain the long term integrity of the show. Loving Season 6 and i have complete trust in Alex to keep the TaskMaster formula fresh for many years to come.
Hm, which series was he talking about? I assumed he was referring to the one with Noel et al. Joe's hole-in-one was fantastic, but IMO it was hardly genius - it was just blind luck.
I'm still pretty miffed that the one series with a genuine artist (Noel) they did quite so many artistic challenges. Talk about manipulating the winner. But Taskmaster is freaking brilliant so it's forgiven.
Does anyone care who wins? Seems understandable that they would set tasks that are going to get the best out of the performers on that series. Just an entertainment show after all.
I know this was ages ago now but wasn't there also more challenges to do with spelling and noel's dyslexic so they would be harder for him 🤷♀️ I feel like overall the challenges play to different peoples strengths and weaknesses
Love Alex Horne! I hope after they do the "winners series" they also do a "losers series" so we can see who's the best of the worst.

Nish is undoubtedly the worst of the worst, and funniest with it.
taskmaster blast from the past: nish kumar, romesh ranganathan, mel giedroyc, al murray, joe Wilkinson
That would be epic😍
Pretty sure we know the answer already - Nish Kumar. Best loser ever.
"i don't want Cumberbatch on our show"
I want to know what he thinks the three well done ones are.

@@jhfh3112 yes, thank you, I'd forgotten about that one
ElzearYoung When you haven’t seen Taskmaster before and you read this and think “wtf is going on!?”
One of them's gotta be Joe Lycett winning a task without even reading it

I know Jon Richardson has already been on but I would love the cast of cats does countdown to have a series of this
bushcraft junky that be cool as well, I have a sweet spot for Rachel Riley and I think Sean Lock be a laugh!

If comedians were practical, productive and efficient people, they wouldn't be comedians.
That's why the winner usually isnt funny
You think comedians aren't productive? Dude...

According to the wiki season 8 filming in studio is taking place at the end of this month. Can't wait.
series 16 next!

What does he think he's doing not wearing a suit?
I love this show and am in the process of watching them all again.
Who did the sound levels for this interview? Why is the interviewee not micced at all but the interviewer is crystal clear?
I'd guess the interviewers lines were really quiet in the original recording so were rerecorded in post.
He is miced, you can literally see the wire and the actual microphone sticking out of his collar and attached to his v-neck
Interviewer definitely sounds like a voice over.
Alex Is Brilliant
The three instances of genius are:
Rhods hole in one
Joe's hole in one
And Osman swallowing a raw egg
Changmymind.
Joe cheated by putting his foot on the red green. Mind changed?
@@caitthecat surely it wasn't cheating.. Looked like a genuine mistake

Swallowing the egg when that was what the task was leading them to do is hardly genius tbh
This comment is Noel camouflage as a banana erasure and I will not stand for it !!!!
Rage-ess Ranganathan. Effete anger is what he does best.
Is the interviewer a football commentator?
Politicians solve problems the same way

Cumberbach couldn't hack it.
