Great spike! What I‘m struggling right now to learn this is to actually get proper consistent sets to practice properly. So rare to get a good set and when you do its humiliating to not hit that but at the same time you‘ve only ever practiced that a few times so..
Part of what makes pro spiker so great is that they can relie on their setter to provide a great set and so they can go all out.

Bro idk why people don't get this, these spikes are called trails shots or knocking or warmup spikes, in these spikes spiker tries to hit a very sharp angle resulting the ball to bounce higher. They don't use them in matches as it is clear they will get blocked. These spikes are just to used to get warmed up before a match or impressing people ..

He's high so he can take advantage of hitting the ball at the right angle and a bit late so the ball will fall closer to the net / before the line , it'll make the enemies harder to recieve.

@@hawx3745, everybody knows that warmup is Showtime! Players try to intimidate the opposition, those that are able to, and he is clearly able to. The veterans may concentrate on the money shots that they will actually use during the match.
