Another advantage of the 4-1 bucket is it effectively raises your dumping height. You can come in level and open the bucket to dump the load. Quick shake of the bucket and you are all set
Great video. Just picked up my speeco quick hitch the other day. Didn’t see ya there but staff was fast at getting me loaded up and out back on the road. Nice little extras in the box as well. I should have asked to see the versa forks but I was in a hurry.
I use a 60” single lid root grapple on my kubota grand L. I use the heck out of it for brush and firewood. Getting ready to cut back and clean up a quarter mile of old hedge row. I used my grapple for 5 minutes then asked myself why I didn’t buy one years ago.
Interesting comments about the BrushCrusher. I bought a BC-4215 (from you!) a few years ago, and it's done an OK job. I have a few gripes with it, and recently it even bent so it doesn't align like it should, but overall it's worked pretty well for me. I wish I'd have gone with a hydraulic grapple and installed the front hydraulics, but (like you said) the BC was much more economical back then, vs. the alternative. I do wish I could make the change now, but it would just cost too much. I guess there's something to be said for getting what you really want the first time - "buy once, cry once!"
Glad that you're posting a few videos again, I love your videos. I just wanted to point out one thing though, you didn't include log grapples in your video. Maybe that was for a reason, maybe you don't offer one? But I'm thinking something like a Frost Bite or comparable log grapple?
Y’all bring that “indestructible“ bucket down here to Central Texas. We could rename it the “Slightly Less Destructible” bucket after a couple of days of clearing cedars and mesquites. Have yet to find a grapple that doesn’t need to be welded on to make strong enough for the mess we live with.
I don't see a single grapple for compact tractors...all really HD stuff for construction equipment. The only possible option they have is way too heavy for the width. Looks like nice stuff for the construction world though.
Can you tell me what grapple I need for my John Deere x475 or where to find out that information? I know there is an off brand that will work, but I've lost the information. I'm a widow and learning how to figure these things out. Thank you.
The garden tractor? Not really designed to have a grapple on that machine. If anything, perhaps get an add-a-grapple to keep the weight as low as possible.
Is the add a grapple plus the bucket weight less than a brush crusher? I’d also be weary of an 3rd function hydraulic spool available for it. Of course that’s only assuming the x series loader is jdqa. Idk if it’s a pin on or not.
I kinda do wish i got the horizontal type root rake because they hold material way better but i couldn't pass up the sweet deal i got on a land pride sgc0660
@@GoodWorksTractors I'm curious whether a 60" is appropriate for an L3400 if I go to a horizontal style or would I have to seek out another ar400 constructed grapple to keep weight in check
Someone needs to make a grapple that’s similar to a clamshell landscape rake. Flexible tines so you can pick up landscape debris (pruning clippings etc) without damaging turf.
Just out of curiosity is there a difference between the red a and black sweep all on the hill behind you and the green one as you didn't do a video on it red and black one as far as i remember just curious 😂😅
I got a kubota L3560 with a land pride grapple. My 3rd function outlet has a flat face coupler and a pioneer coupler. I don't understand why. I'm guessing dealer did it to match the clam shell grapple. Who knows😢
i'm referring to using this specific 4-N-1 Bucket, with the smallest bucket width at 60" and the weight of that bucket at 600 lb. eats up all the lifting capacity of those small tractors.
We have the Precision Adjustable Add a Grapple for our Kubota Grand L 3560. It is great. We can do brush or Round hay bales with it. The only trade off is that smaller items can fall through between the pallet forks. I have towed with the idea of creating a lightweight pallet floor, but haven't had time to do it.
The non-standard 3rd couplers on tractors should all be flat face skid steer... anything else is honestly idiotic. That way you can use any skid steer attachment.
I love your straightforward and down to earth explanations
So Wise , Thank You . A fine example why it is so important to know what you have, there limitatations , and what you Need

Thank you sir!!
very informative thanks for the thorough walkthrough on all the options
Very welcome!
Long time no see! I gave you a like before I even watched the video. Glad to see you are alright! Be encouraged, Sir!
appreciated!
LOVED the closing music! I’d never heard of Thyra until I Shazamed it.
Lots of options makes the choice more fun.
Sure does...can get overwhelming at times too

Another great presentation Courtney thank you

Lots of great information discussed. I have gone the cheapest option and building my my own rock bucket/grapple

We had those for a couple years and didn't sell a single one. So, no longer have them on the website.

Love the video. If you sold FAVER GRAPPLES,you would understand the last word in grapples.Your welcome.

Glad it was helpful!
A "shell grapple" love it
Great gripping grapples
Haha, indeed!
Great Grapples Galore
Don't forget that it's intended use is an important consideration in choosing a grapple.
Definitely...but most folks use grapples for many tasks. It's crazy all the random stuff I use them for around the farm.
Can I use the same hydraulic setup for a grapple third function as for a power attachment such as a Lane Shark front mount rotary cutter?
Not sure, you'd want to ask Lane Shark. May require something different.
Can u use a 4&1 bucket on JD 50 series with quick attach? BTW- so jealous of all the fun kit you have laying around! 🎉

I was told that the root grapple is called that due to the front tines doubling as a root rake when tipped down into the dirt
Is there a kit ?
I kinda do wish i got the horizontal type root rake because they hold material way better but i couldn't pass up the sweet deal i got on a land pride sgc0660
Sounds like you could sell off the Land Pride and break even or make some money?

Will a cat 2 3pt quick attach work with a sq160 bush hog?
Please reference the diagram in this listing. Cross check against your bush hog. www.goodworkstractors.com/product/speeco-category-2-quick-hitch/

the other sweeper is actually orange, and it's their self-powered unit. we keep meaning to do a video on it, but other things keep coming up first.
It’s a word now!
Ha, for sure!
How do you like the JCB

That is pretty odd
Why did you skip that smaller grapple to the right of the grey one?
John Deere states their 4 in 1 works on 1025R..were they wrong???

@@GoodWorksTractors Thanks for the clarification
If you were closer to Texas you could put that severe duty grapple through the ringer on my land
My dealer said to go with flat face since the tractor came with skid steer coupling.
Flat face are nice to have!
how bout a pallet fork grapple?
Think titan has one if not you can find a grapple jaw that bolts to your existing forks
Precision Mfg makes an Add-A-Grapple for Pallet Forks, too: www.goodworkstractors.com/product/precision-mfg-add-a-grapple-pallet-fork/

Thanks for watching Richard!
Great grapple……. Giveaway!
Good golly, it's a gaggle of good grapples
I swear I think you guys burned a g blunt before you filmed this.
My thoughts exactly.
I’m not judging though.
I enjoy a rare occasion to 🔥too.
Good greasy gravy! It’s the greater grapple grabber! lol
Thanks for the Bible Verse
great grapple give away :)
If you want to test that heavy duty grapple, send it to my brother in law. He can destroy an anvil with a feather duster.
Sounds like he shouldn’t operate equipment.

You Root Grapple we call Brush Grapple.
How about we combine it and go with Broot grapple? 😂
Kalama Harris what a looser. Done nothing good in four years.
