I think the first time Loki actually realized he could flip the script on himself was that time in the TVA theatre where Mobius was showing him how his sacred timeline would progress. With his mother dying, how he reconciles with Thor and how Thanos takes his life. This was a therapeutic experience and a huge lightbulb moment that made him stubborn and eager to form connections and change his future. Something that Sylvie never got.

To those of you unaware of the writers of Loki Season 2; they are Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead who also wrote/directed/starred in a couple of their own movies with Time Loop/ Time Travel/ Connected universe stories. The movies are Resolution and The Endless, both of which are fantastic. Moorehead also directed another time travel movie called Synchronic. They are the masters of Time Travel in film and is why Marvel picked them to write Loki Season 2 and it was phenomenal as their other work is. I truly hope Marvel picks them to write Kang Dynasty.

Loki is one of those weird shows where even though it betrays the fundamental aspects of time travel and how the multiverse and timelines function, it's still manages to nail the character development of Loki and that matters most, even so much as to make it one of the greats of Phase 2.

Actually, many parts of the series were respectful of modern quantum physics. Though matter cannot physically travel through time, information might be able to (this theory is used in both Stein's Gate and Godzilla Zero Point.) Light seems to be able to do this (more experiments needed). And so, information could be sent throughout time allowing various realities to resolve. The problem is, does the information received come from the resolved reality of the recipient of the information? Are the collapsed probability chains resolved among many other probabilities? All probabilities exist and are "experienced" by all probable witnesses. Is the "sacred timeline" the collapsed probability field of a particularly selfish Kang? In the end, the probability fields of the multiverse may simply be the sandbox of the Celestials.

I think everyones forgetting the fact that Loki brings ragnarok, which technically applies to everything, not just Asgaard, but also Midgaard, Nephilhiem, and the rest. But he also brings the rebirth of the universe.
This can easily bee overlapped with the TVA and celestial making/breaking the multiverse, and also the nordic tales.
I would call this a mixture of all of them, in a way that can make sense.
It makes total sense and does not surprise me that they tell Loki's story thus way.
I can't wait to see how this will tie into quantum realm, multiverse, celestials, and hopefully involve the Watchers, and the Celestials, which means also Galactus, that means Silver Surfer and the FF.

One thing we all missing is that He Who Remains is the vilain of the Multiversal Saga in the MCU , not "Kang".
Ok , in the comics the main variant of Nathaniel Richards is named Kang and in that medium most of the others variants are just "Kang" variants, but pay attention here:
    1- In the series HWR introduces himself as the winner of the multiversal war and never "name" any of his variants and the fact is the name Kang was never mentioned;
2 - By the end, the new goal of the TVA becomes hunt down HWR variants, not Kang Variants.
Actually Mobius confirms that the variant of his in Quantumania ( wich was named Kang) is dead.
It seems minor but i got the feeling Quantumania was the last time we will hear the name Kang - something that could in the end make easier to replace Majors moving on.

To take his place and be the guy. He thinks he should be as he says!!

My Theory is, Loki is/was time slipping because after the meeting with HWR the outcome was already set in motion. What IS is what WAS and what WILL BE.
Loki is moving Loki through Spacetime, because he already destroyed the loom, even in the process of trying to save it, Season two is just witnessing
"Time" through the eyes of loki. Where did it change? when loki thought to go back to Mobius and Sylvie (even though it happened AFTER that it happens in at the same time)
He says He will stop all of Kangs Variants,
    "I won't stop"
    "I know.... Champ.."
but then he follows in up with a quote by T.S. Elloit. And you can tell Kang didn't know what he was talking about then panicked.
Saying he HAD to kill Sylvie (the first time he says this) The process was already started that HWR lost control of the loop, and i think he knew it.
Because Loki was put in a place in BOTH seasons where he was shown how he didn't want to be alone, his only fear. He would have to accept that to beat the game.
and in the end he does, for the only friends he's ever had.

the fact that his helmet is the timepad lets me know a kang varient will catch up to him at some point and take it.
when loki said he would find another way kang smiled...when loki quoted that poem, i think kang was merely pretending not to know what he was talking about...he wanted loki to believe he outsmarted him and have this epiphany.....
kang wanted loki to take over not because he was tired...he had to find a suitable replacement, otherwise he'd end up there again. i think before kang, O.B. was he who remains and thats why the 3 of them seem to have all created the tva. like every couple of eons he who remains finds or paves a way for another to take their place. like maybe the original OB tricked kang into becoming he who remains to end the multiversal war, and he found a way to trick loki into taking his place while thinking he was the hero. the tva seems like it was specifically designed to drive loki insane.

The series just mentions "centuries later", and while long to spend on one problem it's not infinite eons. But that's plenty. Not just doing a groundhog day times 10-100k of fixing the temperal loom loop. But travel the multiverse, meet people, understand how everything works.
Many humans (Wanda, Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel) gain immense power in only a few decades. If he needed them he has access to an infinite number of infinity stone (some lying in drawers) and any teachers of space and time he could visit. Including his mother (and Odin).
He could definitely obtain any powers his variants have, plus some unique ones. Maybe study with a few sorceror suppremes, celestials or even dark beings like dormammu (as his daughter, Charlize Theron, will play a role). My theory is he can guide his own variants, kinda as extensions of himself but with free will, turning each timeline green with this link. If these variants can then also timetravel (timepads and timestones), he can be everywhere at once...

I think you should take a SERIOUS look at Norse mythology and what Ragnarok is. Real Norse mythos actually makes up for Loki's appearance, his relationships, and his place as "chaos". With Odin gone, chaos has to assume it's spot to then help redirect the circle to implode to then rebirth the world tree and god Odin. If the writers are looking at things, they'll rely more and more just as the comic writers did before the internet. Things build, but gods are gods, until they aren't. Also, the green that stems from his grasps of the timelines, that's chaos being introduced.

Clumsy angry Hulk allowed Loki to escape in the first place by knocking the cube out of the case in endgame. Galan became Galactus at the dawn of the new universe (comics). Maybe Loki will literally become the new time stone singularity in the new universe if there is a full universal reboot or rebirth at the conclusion of Secret Wars. .
So lets take a car leaving a trail as an example. The trail is the time line and the car is the end of timeline which is still being written (was mentioned in the series that being written). What Avenger did was jump from one point of the trail to another without any effect on the car's position (reason why hulk says it wont change the future). While loki travels back in time when car was still making that trail. (in other words when that point of timeline was the end of timeline)

I believe and agree with all of this. I also think the 4 statues in the citadel from the end of Season 1 were meant to be seen as the time keepers. But my in depth theory explains how Victor Timely, Kang the Conqueror from Quantumania and HWR are all the same variant from different stages throughout their lives. And they would represent the 3 statues we see and the fallen statue would of course be Loki as all of this was part of their plan. Yes, I think Loki and HWR are partners in protecting the multiverse from destruction and have many points to back this up. One small example would be HWR telling the Lokis that a descendant of his from the future wins the war. Well for that to be true, HWR would have had to have come first. Plus just the utter nonsense about claiming to have seen everything and the end of time then acting surprised when Loki breaks the loom? Cmon…it was all planned and Loki realizes this after his complete mastery of time slipping. Maybe another reason he smirks at the final shot…. It’s a loop and it’s messy and but can explain and back up all of it. Lemme know if you want to hear more.

We forget that Loki had been in the time branch before, and had become untethered. And He Who Remains had arranged all of that, through Loki's taking He Who Remains place as the one forced to take his place holding it all together. It was a trap to get Loki to do it for the sake of saving someone he loved. All of it was a trap. And Dr. Strange knew this and gave the time gem to Thanos, forging a loop. Kang cannot be the Beyonder, because that would cut out the Moleclue Man character, who will meld the entire MCU together under the Watcher's eye, as was projected by the Watchers. Owen Reese has to understand what Thanos must realize, that killing half the universe only kicks the can down the road. It's all or nothing. And behind all the moves that empower all the characters is the Watcher, who can't intervene, but Owen can. Owen goes back in time and creates the threads that later must be United to save them all. And Kang is reinstalled, and Loki freed from service, redeemed, a son of Odin. The Beyonder becomes Kosmos. Owen becomes the ultimate protector of the United multiverse, and the subplots continue with the children of our heros and new ones so that generationally the MCU continues its evolution. It's all good in the neighborhood.

I think our Loki (Tom) is Loki Mutant, just a better name I found for him to fit in
Might not be the powerful Loki we met in comic but makes sense for live action (no worker actor is hurt during work hour)

I think when Odin adopted Loki as his son, he already knew that Loki had a glorious purpose. That's why Odin couldn't banish him from Asgard, no matter what he did. Odin raised Thor and Loki as god unlike Hella. And maybe Loki felt that the throne in Asgard was rightfully his because Odin himself instilled that thought in Loki. Odin himself actually did not know what kind of god Loki would become, but his place is not in Asgard

It’s also possible that Loki weaved together the universes where X-Men exist and combined them with the sacred timeline giving the MCU a way to bring the X-Men into the fold. That or after Secret Wars there will be an incursion that forces the X-Men to flee their universe and come stay in the MCU.

The key is that Loki is more fiction than science fiction, and that you don’t need to make the science work for this. It’s because it fits the narrative and his character development. They tell you this out right
