I bought a bottle of 1888, changed my mind and sold it, then changed my mind again, and bought a decant. When I finish the decant, I'll get a full bottle. However, with so many bottles, decants and samples - my 1888 decant should suffice for years.
It's a very interesting scent. Keeps you wanting to sniff yourself. That's the only Xerjoff I want to keep sniffing. Although Xerjoff use excellent ingredients, and they superbly blend their perfumes, only 1888 has got me enchanted.

Nice! But sir..,"that medicinal kick"..? Should we worry? Just kidding. Your story from the beginning had me distracted and thinking of those kids getting high of cough syrup I've heard of. That doesn't exist here so I really was wondering what kind of smell it should be.

@@RaffiDiranBassclef, yes you mentioned that..years ago when it was introduced here. Awefull taste imo, so never really smelled it. But I do have a pretty good pallet, I'm a chef, so have will taste and smell. Thank you very much.
Hello does it smells similiar to roja dove enigma/creation E ? Cuz i love that scent
I have the Creation E pour homme parfum and to me, it's a very different scent from 1888. Actually not similar at all

@@RaffiDiranBassclef hello i just got my 1888, and you're absolutely correct about the medicinal coughs syrupyy vibe it gives , noo rootbeer at all for me , and to be honest it reminds me a lot of dunhill desire red and coincidently i hate that fragrance 😭😭😭
Enigma parfum cologne is fresher, less sweet and cloying.
@@Conradm i remember when i tried enigma it was not cloying for me , it project great with just 1 spray, definitely "fresher" than 1888 in the opening
