    Ugh i want this yarn so bad. Ive been looking yalls and at ohhio braid for MONTHS now. Its just so beautiful! And satisfying to look at. but its just too expensive to justify. Im hoping my Fiancee might get it as a present for me but im so glad you came out with a dupe for ohhio yarn. Yall have better formula and production varieties than ohhio braid.

    I have been watching so many of your videos today because I am trying to make my very first chunky blanket. I have restarted it five times sadly. Only part now I’m confused on is leaving that first stitch loop out like you said to so it’ll have that pretty braid in the end. I keep knitting to like row four or five and then restarting it. I’m following a different one of your videos step by step because of the type of yarn I’m using. I regret buying the Bernat extra blanket yarn! I was told that’s what I needed and I bought 5 skeens. I don’t think I’ll have enough yarn. Plus it’s so skinny compared to the chunky yarn you sell. I just discovered you and your channel last night and I so wish I would have discovered you before I bought the Bernat yarn. I’m having to make 30 loops to get it long enough to work where it’s so skinny. Next payday I’m buying your biggest chunky yarn and making me one of them! Hopefully I’ll have the hang of it by then lol. What advice can you give me a complete beginner to this? This part about the loops on the end to save for the braid has me really really confused.

    • @BeCozi
      @BeCozi  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kelly, just knit all stitches if leaving the first stitch is confusing. I can not tell how many stitches to cast on for Bernat yarn as it is too thin to compare to the yarn in the video. You can try to cast on 23 stitches and knit very very tight, to make stitches as small as possible - this way you can make a blanket. It probably will be smaller than the one in the video but you will have some practice. And then you can buy our yarn at becozi.net

      Linda, amount of yarn depends on a size of a blanket. In the video one skein of 10 lbs was used, it is enough for a medium size blanket 35x60 inches, enough to cover a medium size person from toes to neck.
