I would try making this but my yarn is smaller. The big size of the yarn in this video including the clear explaination (& of course the Eng sub) plus the various camera angles tremendously help. Thank you so much! :)

I don't know how to knit yet but I can crochet and I thought this looked quite similar to crochet but a bit different.
@@llc1976 I'm the same, can't knit but I can do a basic crochet stitch so as soon as I saw her do the first row I actually yelled out (to myself home alone) "omg that's crochet!" I'm heading to Michael's right now to get yarn to make these for Christmas.
Crochet gives it a little different look though.

Alors je n’ai pas acheté la laine chez vous (Comfywool) car les deux mails que j’ai envoyés pour poser mes questions sont restés sans réponse.
Je voudrais apporter ici mon expérience. Pour la petite histoire, c’est ma fille qui souhaite une couverture 180 x 200 (ça fait un sacré budget, même sur le site sur lequel j’ai commandé).
Sans plan de travail adapté, il faut avouer que le dos, les bras et les genoux en prennent un coup. C’était ma première (et dernière !) couverture XXL alors, malgré les explications pourtant simples, claires nettes et précises suivies à la lettre, j’ai défait mes deux premiers rangs pour recommencer et que ce soit bien régulier (ET C’EST VRAI QUE C’EST DELICAT !).
Une dame a fait allusion au lavage et séchage. L’idéal est de l’amener au chimique. Mais là encore, c’est un budget.
Cela fait une semaine que la couverture est faite mais la délicatesse relevée plus haut fait que c’est une couverture qui devrait rester au statut d’ornement. Si vous pensiez vous vautrer dedans chaque soir pour y lire ou regarder des vidéos sur TH-cam, elle va vite tirer la tronche.
Attention donc à ce que vous espérez en faire, pour le prix, c’est dommage de la voir boulocher. Et on retrouve des morceaux de laine par dizaines sur le divan. Le fait que la laine que j’ai utilisée ne vienne pas de chez Comfywool ne change rien au résultat final car j’ai commandé sur un site tout aussi fiable (donc pas wish ou etsy ou un truc du genre dont on pourrait douter de la qualité… surtout wish quand on sait la différence entre les habits commandés et ceux reçus 🙄🤣, mais c’est une autre histoire !).
Bref, retenez que la dame qui présente ce tuto ne minimise pas quand elle dit qu’il faut manipuler avec précaution car la laine est fragile.

Fabienne Hennebique c'est écrit en barre d'info 😉. Lavage à sec chez un spécialiste ou lavage à la main et séchage à plat.Autant dire que ça doit peser hyper lourd une fois mouillée...Je trouve cette couverture super belle mais pour moi le nettoyage est contraignant 😕
